Save Me

Save Me

Inspiration is Save Me by Josh A. Literally any Josh A or iamjakehill song will end up being either Sapnap or Dream just so you all know.

Warnings: angst, mental health mentions, insomnia, blood mention, dead bodies, nightmares, overall this is just gonna be a sad little thing.

Theme: Angst. So much. Literally like... a crumb of fluff.

Characters: Natalia/Nattums (OC), Sapnap

The air was thick with the smell of iron and the burn of smoke. Natalia could hardly see past her own nose, and it was irritating and confusing. She blindly stumbled her way through the wreckage, her legs weak from the battle she had been part of. She needed to find Sapnap.

Tripping over debris and bodies that lay slain before her, often landing flat on her stomach which pushed the air out of her lungs with force, she slowly made her way to where she had seen him fall. Slowly, the smoke was clearing, and she could see a little better. She switched to her bread in her inventory, taking small bites as she made her way to the familiar area.

She called his name once, twice. Her voice was hoarse and dry, and the sobbing that racked her entire body didn’t help. With no answer, she continued on. His horse was alive, but quite spooked, looking around in an almost paranoid manner. Where was HE, though?

Then she spotted him, lying face-up not too far away. She runs as fast as she can as her health slowly rises again. “Sapnap!” She slipped, but quickly regained her footing, then grabbed onto the front of her boyfriend’s shirt. “Sapnap...” She looked closer at him, almost screaming.

She quickly sat up in bed, her breath quick and shallow. She looked around, still panicked, but starting to calm just enough. Sapnap was beside her, his voice groggy and half-asleep still as he speaks, “Nattums...? Baby...” He slowly sits up with a groan, brows furrowed. “What time is it...” He mumbles softly, looking out the window for a moment to gouge the time. The moon’s light was showing through the window, casting pale light across the oak plank floor and painting the rest of the house in darkness.

Natalia was shaking like a leaf, her eyes shut tightly. She could hardly respond; this felt so real. It felt like he had really...

“Nat!” He wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his head in the crook of her neck. “Hey, it’s okay. I’m right here with you.”

She knew this, but what she didn’t know was how long he even would be with her. Paranoia settled into her.
