You, Hinata, Atsumu, and Sakusa stare at him for a long moment before you shake your head and huff; snapping yourself back to reality you look at the camera.

"Oookay then." You reach into the fishbowl, fighting the shock lingering at the edge of your expression, and pull out a strip of paper. "Another question, this one for Hinata:" -the orangette perks up- "creative or survival mode in Minecraft?"

"Creative!" He gives a double-thumbs up and grins. "Although when I stream with Kenma he'll only play survival."

Looking at the camera you declare "masochist."

"No, he just likes the challenge," Hinata laughs lightheartedly. "I prefer creative because I don't have the time to collect all the resources I want to have."

You pull out another question. "This one is for Miya..." You give an exasperated look to the camera. "What are these questions. Seriously." With disdain you read "Miya: As a grape would you rather be shriveled up into a raisin for cookies or squashed into wine?"

Atsumu snorts. "Squashed into wine, obviously." He makes a seductive face. "I'm already intoxicating."

Sakusa guffaws in disgust that's mirrored on your face when the camera cuts back to you.

"Lovely," you say sarcastically and draw the next question before Atsumu can retort. "For Kiyoomi: what's the last thing you watched on Nextflix?"

The ravenette's eyes widen and his cheeks pink as Atsumu cackles. "Come on 'Omi-'Omi, ya hafta answer!"

"That's not fair," Sakusa grumbles. "I didn't watch it for myself."

"Ooo, this is gonna be good!" Atsumu waggles his eyebrows to Sakusa's disgust. "Ya got someone special ya been keepin' from us?"

Sensing that Bokuto and Hinata are seconds away from leaping on him for an answer Sakusa's expression goes pointedly blank as he looks at the camera. "Community. The last thing I watched on Netflix was Community."

A chilling silence falls over the Jackals.

Behind the camera the director whispers to Kuroo "is that bad?"

"I don't know," he murmurs back, mystified.

On-screen Hinata's just as confused as he glances from Sakusa to Bokuto to Atsumu to you, seeing Sakusa's forced innocence turn into Bokuto's confusion which shifts into Atsumu's angry understanding ending with your resentful guilt as you avoid looking at anyone for the long silence until your athletes explode--

"What in tha hell's tha meanin'a this!?" Atsumu yells, leaping to his feet.

"You said you didn't want to watch it!" Bokuto stares at Sakusa in betrayal.

"Why wouldn't you want to watch it with them?" Hinata asks in betrayed solidarity with Bokuto as Atsumu spits

"Ya lyin', connivin' degenerates!"

"Geez, they must really like this show," the director mutters to Kuroo.

"It ain't about tha show!" snaps Atsumu. "It's tha fact that it's this traitor's favorite show!" He jabs a finger at you.

"Whoa, our manager isn't a traitor!" Bokuto speaks up, getting even more confused. "It's just upsetting Sakusa-san watched it when he said he wouldn't with us."

"Exactly Bo-kun!" Atsumu glowers at you, still speaking to Bokuto "an' why d'ya think it is...that all of a sudden 'Omi-'Omi's so willin' ta watch somethin' he was so vehemently uninterested in?" He pauses for an angry beat. "Somethin' he just admitted that he didn't watch for himself?!" He gives that another half-second. "Somethin' that just so happens ta be our manager's favorite show?"

There's a second of silence before Bokuto gasps and clutches his chest, dramatically pulling back as he looks at you with alarmed betrayal. "Manager!"

"EXACTLY!" Atsumu shouts making accusatory gestures between you and Sakusa. "WHAT IN THA WORLD HAVE THA TWO'A YA BEEN DOIN'!?"

"Having tv nights without us!?" Bokuto joins Atsumu, a look of shock on his face.

"No-No!" Atsumu tsks under his breath, trying not to snap at Bokuto. "Bo-kun, it's not about them excluding us...it means they've been spendin' time together outside'a practice."

"And they haven't been inviting us," Bokuto affirms, insulted.

Atsumu huffs and drops his dramatic gestures for a moment to face his teammate. "No. Bokuto. It means they've been spendin' time together just tha two'a them."

He looks at Bokuto who blinks back, unchanged. "Yeah."

"At home."

"Yeah."

"By themselves."

"Yeah, 'Tsum-'Tsum, I get it. Why are you rubbing it in?"

"Because, Bo-kun," Atsumu sighs in defeat and throws an arm over Bokuto's shoulder turning him away from the camera to explain in a whisper too quiet for the camera to hear until Bokuto gasps again and whips around clutching his chest, dramatically pulling back from you as he looks at you with alarmed betrayal again. "Manager!"

"There we go," mutters Atsumu nearly throwing his hands up.

"I don't see what the big deal is," Hinata chimes in. "They were just watching tv, right? They weren't even holding hands or anything."

Atsumu and Bokuto abruptly turn to their newest teammate and the tension returns.

"Shoyo-kun...why d'ya say that soundin' like ya know somethin' we don't?"

Hinata's face slowly turns pink as he splutters "I-well--because-I-I had hand-sanitizer for Sakusa-san and when I went over to his apartment our-," he gulps at the growing shock on his teammates' faces, "our manager was there and they were just sitting on the couch together."

Now Atsumu gasps loudly and dramatically looking at Sakusa with a hand on his chest. "Oh. My Gawd. On yer couch 'Omi-'Omi?"

"Your couch!" Bokuto echoes, scandalized. Then he blinks, confused, and mutters to Atsumu "wait, why's that so bad?"

Atsumu's shoulders drop in exasperation. "Because Bo-kun, Sakusa won't even let any of us into his apartment let alone sit on his couch."

"Huh? I've been in Sakusa's apartment before," says Boktuo.

"I have, too," adds Hinata.

A hollow look slowly takes over Atsumu's face as if the whole world is shifting.

Chiming in you say "did you ever think that maybe you're the problem, Miya? That it's not about letting me or anyone else in...but maybe keeping you out? Because you don't respect people and their boundaries enough?"

Atsumu slowly sits down, eyes unfocused under a furrowed brow; Bokuto sinks back into his seat. Only Hinata remains unruffled.

"Can we do another question?"

You reluctantly reach into the bowl and start again.

At the end of the interview Atsumu numbly shuffles after Hinata and Bokuto who are trying to convince Sakusa to go out for dinner as they walk off the set; Kuroo asks for a word with you.

He leads you to an empty corner and says "you're going to have to get a handle on this before the special airs."

"I know," you lament. "You said we have a couple days, right, before they finish the editing?" When Kuroo nods you assure him "I'll have Miya in a better headspace by then."

"That's not what I'm talking about."

You frown. "Okay...what are you talking about, then?"

Kuroo searches your gaze for a long minute. "I'm talking about your relationship going public."

"What relationship?"

"Your relationship with Sakusa Kiyoomi," Kuroo says, getting irritated.

You gesture to the empty set. "You heard Hinata...we were just watching tv together."

Kuroo sighs and shakes his head at you. "Did you forget that I was the one who organized this? That I was the one to pick the questions and type them up?

"And?" you prompt in your own irritation. "What's your point, Kuroo?"

"My point..." he leans in and drops his voice just a little lower, "is that I only wrote the players' family names...

"And you called him Kiyoomi."
