A clearer look at my look for part 1 of Heart: The City Beneath, streamed on Actual Play UK the other week. In @merelyroleplayers I'm just a voice – since this game is on camera I thought I'd make more of an effort and try to match the feel of the setting!
The bracer is by Skinbound on Etsy; and I marshalled my extremely basic makeup skills into something that ended up too subtle for the camera, especially compared to Fiona and @maddyisabstract, who are, to be fair, consummate pros.
Lessons learned, and if you tune in for part 2 next Friday 8 March, you'll actually be able to tell I've done something with my face 😄

cis people who legitimately questioned their gender and decided they were cis are cis, but theyre not cis about it. i respect that.
Step one: Identify a musical theatre nerd. No, not you.
Step two: ask them how many minutes are in this year?
Step three: wait for them to take a deep breath.
Step four: remind them it’s a leap year.
Step five: watch as math and scansion collide head on.
2024 is the year we stop “consuming” and go back to “reading/watching/listening to/playing” things

It's all very well me being snarky about people comparing every podcast to TMA, but it can actually be tricky or even a bit overwhelming to find that second podcast.
So, if you're someone who's heard say, 6 or fewer podcasts, wants something new, but doesn't know where to go next, drop into my asks over the weekend and tell me what you've heard, and what you like or are looking for, and I'll give you something to try out.
