And on a completely serious note, Dracula Daily was legit one of the most fun things I've done on the internet all year and I'm so sad it's over. In a world where the internet feels increasingly corporate and sanitized, having some weird little email book club spring up around a 125 year old novel feels like the Old Internet to me in the best of ways. I'm gonna miss seeing all the shipping, discussion, memes (maybe the memes most of all), and all of the little historical facts I never knew about. I've definitely come out of this with a brand new appreciation for the book, and I hope we can do it again sometime.
Y'all take care out there now! Pour one out for Quincey.

I hope, now that it is all over, that Jonathan is able to go back to the village and thank the woman who gave him the crucifix. If you think about it, it was that action which ultimately enabled the count to be defeated. Without Jonathan making it out alive and able to provide the crucial information about who Dracula was and where he came from, I doubt Van Helsing et al would have been able to track him down. Considering how many generations of the locals Dracula had oppressed and terrorized, I am very glad that one of them was able to have a role in his downfall.
Party Of One is a good podcast and you should listen to it.
I promise. It's a good show. I like it a lot. If you like TTRPGs, you will like it. You should check it out.
Party of One is an actual-play podcast focused on two-player roleplaying experiences. Every episode I sit down with a guest, we play a 2-player TTRPG, share some laughs, maaaaaybe a few tears, and tell a self-contained story in 90 minutes or so.
It's like an interview podcast wrapped in an audio drama wrapped in an actual play. It's neat and funny and sad and weird and there's not a lot quite like it in podcasts. There are hundreds of self-contained episodes, you can jump in everywhere, and some very cool people have been on the show (we've had Jonny Sims, and Jadzia Axelrod who wrote Galaxy: The Prettiest Star, and also wrestlers, and comic artists, and game designers, and one time we did an episode with a puppet).
You can find the podcast in all the podcast places, or on the website.
There is also a guide to diving in, with episodes sorted by tags, Spotify playlists, and lists of all the different games we've played.
