As you must know outsiders probably always look into Wicca (not sure if that's right) and ask if it's real/ can you prove you are actually capable of supernatural abilities..I'm not doubtful you can project and look back at yourself bc I've done that before on accident, I want to know about spells and ghost etc., how is casting a spell irl different from Hollywood?

Wicca is a religion. I do not practice Wicca, nor do I claim to know much about the religion, but Wicca is separate from witchcraft, which is what you are talking about, I think. But just to make it clear, Wicca is a religion, witchcraft is not. Some witches are Wiccan, but a lot are not. Some Wiccans are witches, but not all Wiccans practice magic. So Wicca =/= Witch. Going either way. Witches can be any religion they like, or no religion at all. Just wanted to clarify that before going forward.

Alright, now on to the subject of Hollywood. You should know by now that Hollywood is out there to make money, and dramatize everything. The way Hollywood portrays witches is incorrect on so many different ways. I wont go into all of it, because it will turn SUPER ranty. But here is what we don’t do. We don’t all worship the devil. Some so, but most don’t. We don’t sell our souls to get our powers, they are what are within us all, naturally. We don’t shoot lightning bolts out of our wands, or ride around on broomsticks. We cant summon fireballs with our hands. This isn’t Harry Potter. Our spells and energy definitely do not come out as sparkly cg and surround us in a tornado of glitter. Although that would be pretty awesome.

What we do with our spells is put our intention out into the universe. We use herbs, and crystals, and make potions to amplify this intention, and help us manifest our desires, whatever that may be. We use our energies to heal the earth, even if it is just a little, to help repair some of the damage that everyone else causes. We see the universe in a different way. We treat the world a different way. Each witch has her own individual practice, and no witch truly practices the same. I don’t really see any of it as supernatural abilities, because it is totally natural. 

While I think most of us can admit that if it was like Hollywood, it would be SUPER COOL, but its not. Its much less flashy. In fact, you can walk by a witch and never know it. They may be your teachers, your receptionists, your doctors, your fast food workers or your mail delivery person. We aren’t always obvious. I know this may not be the answer you are looking for, but hopefully that sheds some light on who and what we are and what we do.
