Jesus said, "Come to Me, all you who are troubled and weighed down with care, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

We all carry unnecessary burdens. What burden might you be carrying?

As we begin a new day, let's ask ourselves, what burdens am I carrying? Sin, fear, guilt, worries, regrets, grudges, shame, pain, etc etc and, they can weigh us down.

Jesus by His suffering and death, redeemed us, FREED us from sin.

1 Peter 2:24 says “He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness.” You see, Jesus, our burden bearer, carried our sin, our burdens on the cross. So why am I trying to carry it?"

Today, lay all your burdens at the foot of the cross, and walk away free and never come back for it!

The Lord will keep you from all harm. He will watch over your life. Psalm 121:7

This world is one chaotic and dangerous place to live in. But when you are under the Lord's care there can be no safer place than the shadow of His wings. The Bible says," the righteous run into Him and are safe." 

When fear creeps into your mind, remember:

God is the Protector and the Preserver of your life. We must rely on Him to do this for us. Our help comes from God, the Maker of heaven and earth. We can remind ourselves of this every single day.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You that I can live securely knowing that You keep, preserve and watch over my life. I commit myself and my family into Your hands. In Jesus' Name Amen.
