I read somewhere that if you dream about the person you love, you deserve to wake up next to them and I think it is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking analogy ever to exist I mean you dream about someone that you love so deeply but the universe nullified the entire spectrum where you can see the two of you as one. Isn’t it heartbreaking?
I asked my shrink if the toxicity my relationship held can be changed if we give eachother another chance.
She said the following lines:
“Yes, toxic relationships do change. But that comes with a very big notion of sacrifice and sheer commitment. A toxic relationship can change if and only if both partners are equally committed to overcoming it with lots of open communication, honesty, self-reflection, and possibly professional help, individually and together.”
I paraphrased as I asked again, “how do I make him committed to me again?”
She said:
“Talk openly and honestly.
Honesty is the basis of trust and often, love. Being honest will show the person that you're serious, which they may respect and like about you. However, honesty isn't just telling the truth. Say things in a way that the person will understand them and benefit from them as it might regain his consciousness and will eventually realise. He is angry right now, frustrated with the recent actions as he is having a hard time to let go and forget everything. He might be forgiving but it will take a lot of time to forget. Let him accept the reality as soon as he humbles down trust me he will look at you.”
I don’t know if he will look at me again. But thank you shrink

My shrink is the mother I never had. I will be like her someday as I know her kids are the luckiest. I want my kids to feel lucky
