Something I need to hear sometimes is: You are not an inconvenience.
You are not an inconvenience if you have fluid pronouns.
You are not an inconvenience if you have fluid names.
You are not an inconvenience if you change your names, pronouns, or labels multiple times.
etc. etc. etc.
You are NOT an inconvenience. Asking for basic respect is NOT an inconvenience to others. Telling people how best they can respect you is NOT an inconvenience.
Never apologize for demanding respect. You, like everyone else, deserve respect. You are not being an inconvenience at all by getting it.
