Feb 2015 Street of Manila. Did a photo walk while visiting Manila. Had a chance encounter with this street kid and he’s playing by himself. No toys, no clothes but happy playing outside under the scourging heat. Happy to be a kid, no pretentions and have their own world. This is the light of my life & my best studio mate… my daughter, Sophia. ♡

We became a family nearly two years ago when @nicholasjared & I were entrusted to bring this sweet newborn girl home from the hospital. Privacy rules throughout our journey didn’t allow for public photos, but today, I’m so blessed to say we have officially adopted & I am forever mom to this wonderful child who stole my heart from day one.
