Partly, casual involuntary identity theft does tend to make it difficult to know who you are. I've had to go on so many backpacking treks to re-find myself.

Well alright then, I suppose I'll be reblogging this more. Going to be a consistency, occurring across time.

After the Empire, the yearbook stops of course.
But the jedi had a great many forms of communication, official and... less so.
A few years into his time on Tatooine, Obi-Wan finds a message in an emergency drop-box, a place once used when a message was important but for some reason the jedi couldn't use standard communications.
At once, he's ecstatic! This might be some precious knowledge, it was left in an important place in a very perilous time!
He decodes it, and it reads:
"Bet five credits master Kenobi's still hot as a trinary star system."
He cries.
Broke: Anakin doesn't have any jedi friends his own age because he didn't fit in/Palpatine isolated him
Woke: Anakin doesn't have any jedi friends his own age because all his classmates keep trying to sleep with his Master and it's driving him crazy. If ONE more person asks him for Obi-Wan’s number he's gonna scream.
Ahsoka: Skyguy! Did you know the senior padawans put out a yearbook?? You'll never guess who won MILF (Master I'd Like To Fuck) of the year!!!
Anakin, not looking up: It’s Obi-Wan.
Ahsoka: ...huh did you already see it?
Anakin, with a thousand yard stare: It's always Obi-Wan. It's been Obi-Wan for the last 10 years Snips.
Can you imagine a world where science discovered platypi before beavers and ducks. All the jokes would be different.
"Josh have you seen this thing from the new continent?"
"The fuck is that thing, it looks like a waterbird with a platypus face. Freak. Sure it's real?"
