I got gundam today and I really wanted to build one of the ones that Keroro is seen building in the show. Except I couldn’t find a list of any he’s made T^T. Makes sense though. So I’m just gonna do it, already got two from ep 53 cause that’s the one I was on when I thought of it :p

Unfortunately controversial take but you chosing to identify as ace as a way to not deal with something internal isnt the fault of the ace community. I see so many aphobes and exclusionists going “I told myself I was ace when i was younger to not deal with depression so its a harmful label for children!!” or “well i thought I was ace and so I forced myself to shun sex and it harmed me so the ace comminity harmed me!” and every time it kills me more.

Like, having depression or trauma or dysphoria or whatever made you choose to call yourself ace isnt your fault! But its also not aces fault, for accepting you and allowing someone calling themselves ace to be a part of the ace community!! Thats what communities are supposed to do!

When I was younger I just assumed I was a lesbian, and involved myself in lesbian communities. I talked to other lesbians about my disconnect with womanhood (spoiler alert; it was the trans in me making that disconnect), and they told me that thats normal and okay, that I can still be a lesbian regardless. When I accepted the fact that I like boys, I just figured it was on addition and identified as bi. Other bi people told me that my strong preference for guys was okay (it was the gay, actually). Then I realized that I was just trans and gay and now here i am today.

Did I choose to identify with those labels to avoid dealing with my own personal problems? Oh absolutely I did. I clung HARD to both when I was younger, because it was easy. Has this happened to other people? Of course, plenty of other trans people have gone through other sexuality labels! Is this lesbians and bisexuals faults, since they treated us as if we were lesbians/bi? Absolutely fucking not.

Yall need to calm down and actually acknowledge the fact that communities are supposed to help and support people within them! They arent supposed to try to steer you away from them. Do you guys expect every community to disclaim every resource with “but also you might not be this so ://”? Because all that is doing is ostracizing people that arent “cookie cutter” examples in the community, and thats wrong.

I fully understand being upset at trauma or lost time, and I get that its easier to place the blame somewhere for bullshit that you shouldnt have had to go through, but this aint it. Yall need to grow up and realize you are putting blame on a community for treating you as one of their own WHEN YOU YOURSELF SAID YOU WERE ONE OF THEIR OWN. You are vilifying them because of your own personal shit, and what you are actually doing is projecting.

Mlp rant time

Apple Jack shouldn't have been honesty. Fluttershy is more the embodiment of honesty. The amount of times she snaps at people. Like with the dragon she got so sick of his shit and just started yelling at him and he just left 💀. Like yea she's kind, she takes care of the animals, but someone else shoulda been kindness. Although I wouldn't know who pfft. Rainbow jack isn't rlly that kind compared to how Fluttershy is, maybe apple jack. Rainbow dash isn't even that loyal either. Didn't she like leave her family or something 😂? I'm not sure I haven't watched it all in a while.

Some girl at my school just walks around with music playing on her phone at nearly full volume, like, have you no shame? I'm trying to complete my overdue homework and I left my earbuds at home today.

I’ve seen multiple people genuinely asking whats wrong with playing their music on a speaker/their phone in public rather than through headphones. While it baffles me that you can’t reason it out I’m taking it in good faith that you genuinely don’t know - so here’s a list of reasons you shouldn’t:

- It sounds bad. It doesnt matter if people like the song, you might be close enough to your phone speaker for it to sound largely as intended, but everyone else is getting a distorted mess. 

- Unwanted noise is extra stimulation in the already overpowering public space. Yes this is particularly bad for neurodivergent people but I actually want to acknowledge that this effects Everyone. Everyone has a stimulation threshold and unwanted music easily pushes people closer to it.

- Its distracting/disruptive. People want to focus on their own conversations, listen to their own music through their earbuds, or just be alone with their thoughts. Your music is intruding. 

- Differing taste. This one is less significant but people around you just dont always like the same music you do. In extreme cases they might actively hate a song you’re playing. 

- People have the right to as close to silence as they can get. If they’re in a shop playing obnoxious music they can leave, they can change the radio in their car, they can skip the song on their playlist. They have no control over what you are putting on and in bus situations they can’t get away from you. 

- Any other number of reasons; Maybe your music is offensive, maybe its uncensored and there are children about, maybe someone just got horrible news and your perky feelgood song feels like salt in the wound, maybe someone’s sick or hungover or in pain and your music feels like a drill to the skull.  You might think your music is good, it might make you smile after a hard day. Nobody is saying dont listen at all, just put in earphones. To everyone around you its the equivilent of a drunk guy singing loudly and off key at the back of the bus. Maybe it makes some people smile to think he’s having a good time, maybe some people are scared his lack of boundaries will mean he could act out, maybe some people wish he would just shut up.
