My partner is having a blast in art school and was given a character design exercise where after the whole class put together moodboards showcasing stuff that inspires them, they got assigned two pictures from someone else's moodboard and had to create a character based on it. It sounded fun, so I asked her to assign me two pictures from her own moodboards to try it myself!

So I doodled this cryptid lady who traps her preys in her giant kelp forest hair 🌿🌿🌿

Man, after all these years I still love Detroit: Become Human. It sucks in so many ways, but still so much love and talent shines through in this game. I could talk about it for hours, the good and (especially) the bad. Not many triple A games get to captivate me to that degree. I'll take a flawed experience that gets me to think over a perfectly palatable one that I'll forget about two days later tops.
