Mini-comic I drew when I started figuring out how to draw the turtles that I'm never gonna finish so I'm just posting it ^_^

BASICALLY. My HC for Leo is that he's hyperverbal autism and after the invasion was very prone to meltdowns. The thing abt Leo is that when he has meltdowns they're very loud , especially in this particular instance where he's having a joint flashback-panic attack-meltdown, where he fully thinks he's back in the prison dimension. Issue is Donnie is Rather sensitive to loud noises when they drone on for a long time, and it's ESPECIALLY bad when it's his brother screaming. In the 3rd "panel" , half of it is Raph actually hearing Donnie's pleas and the other half if what Raph THINKS Leo would be saying if Leo had the space to be talking right now.

The rest of it would have been like this: Raph getting closer to Leo and Leo grabbing onto him really hard upon hearing his voice because it's Raph, so it must be safe. Then there would be Splinter rushing into the room saying "where's my boy?" And going down to Leo and Raph in which Leo would lean into his dad and they'd start rocking together. It would end with Leo being cradled in splinter's arms with raph hugging him from the other side, crying but NOT screaming this time, as splinter and raph reassure him and Mikey and Donnie go to sit down with them.
