You took a deep, albeit shaky, breath for courage and looked deep into the pair of warm brown eyes that were staring at you curiously. 

“Yoongi, I have something to tell you. It’s big,” you started and he quietly blinked, waiting for you to continue. When you remained silent, he tilted his head to the side and the familiar gesture had you smiling softly in spite of the circumstances. “I’m pregnant.”

More silence. You could feel your pulse racing.

“I know this is a surprise. Believe me, I know,” you nervously laughed. “But, we can do this. We have each other and I love you so much. This is just…our next big step together.”

You gave him a determined nod, starting to feel encouraged by your own words. But when you continued to receive a blank stare, you let out a loud groan and dropped your head to the back of the couch. 

“Holly, I don’t think I can do this.”
