I’m not sure if a lot of you know, but Laysha is a group signed under JS Entertainment that has been criticized since their debut for having a sexy concept. Because of this they aren’t invited to perform on many music shows and have been relegated to performing on smaller stages and most of their publicity is gained through fancams. It’s not uncommon for girl groups, no matter their concept, to be treated more like commodities than people and its recently reached an unacceptable height in Laysha’s case.

Two of the group’s members, Goeun and Som, have recently posted on Instagram with photographic proof that there have been hidden cameras installed in their dorm, their cars, and their dressing room in order to take pictures of the girls from inappropriate angles and in various states of undress to be uploaded online. This isn’t the first time the members of the group have been put under such stress. Goeun has stated that she’s stayed silent through malicious comments, rumors, and identity theft, but this is the last straw for her.

The girls have decided to take legal action against the perpetrator. It’s important to show them love and support in their time of stress even if it’s nothing more than a few kind words. It’s been shown before to help idols feel like they are not alone in their dark times, so please send them love on Twitter and trend the hashtag “#ProtectLAYSHA”. It may not seem like much but it’s all we can do to bring attention to their situation and help them bring the people behind this to justice.
