Mariam's brother was also killed, leaving behind three children who are now under her care. Her father is disabled and uses a wheelchair and struggles to get around as they keep receiving evacuation orders to places that aren't even safe. They really need funds to get food because Mariam has already had to seek medical attention for malnutrition.

Our once thriving community has been reduced to rubble, with most homes, including ours, reduced to rubble. Among the rubble are people from my family who have been lost, as well as our food shop, which was our livelihood.

My family and I are struggling with the aftermath, and looking for support to rebuild our shattered lives.
