Ri Zoifai is a commener, whos famliy raised enough money to send her to the Officers Academy for her education. She doesn’t take this for granted and doesn’t slack off, although she can’t see eye-to-eye with the Proffessor at times.

Aliegiance: The Holy Kingdom of Faerghus (Blue Lions)

House Eilba bears no crest and resides in Gautier territory. The minor house has little power- only maintained by the use of a crestless relic, a spear by the name of Maliceia. This house stands beside house Gautier for defense from outsiders. Braelyn is set to inherit the relic and the house- ready to stand beside House Gautier.

Braelyn is one of two older sisters of the Blue Lions- unlike Mercedes, Braelyn is more overprotective and shows hostility towards anyone with ill intentions towards one of her friends. She also doesn’t hesitate to let everyone know who the favorite is. Ashe.

Strengths: Faith, Reason, Lance

Weaknesses: Axe, Flying

Relic: Malicea, deals double poison damage to enemies.

Malicea was gifted to House Eilba by one of the kings of old- to help House Gautier defend from outsiders. They are the kingdoms failsafe if House Gautier fails to have a heir with a crest.

I made an oc post the other day on Cerirn. and I realized he supports the Empire, and has an unknown crest that remains unknown.

So imagine Those Who Slither in The Dark kidnapping him to try and find out what his crest is either pre or post timeskip. Pre timeskip it would be a lot like when Flayn went missing minus the panicking Seteth and Monica entering the picture. Like a side mission is requested by Professor Hanneman/Manuela (if you didn’t pick the Black Eagles) or from Sothis (if you picked the Black Eagles.) That they noticed Cerirn never came back from the Mission and they would like you help to look for him. If you speak to a member of the Black Eagles (as the Golden Deer or Blue Lions professor) such as Vince, Linhardt, Edelguard or Caspar, they’ll join your mission. You enter Abyss (DLC pass) or through the hidden entrance you found (non-DLC) and begin searching. Soon you get word that theres movement from farther down. When investigating the battle begins (after the setup) with Cerirn weakly yelling for help from the darkness (which is like an Indoor fog effect.) When you find him a conversation begins between Byleth, Linhardt, Caspar and Cerirn. Like this-

L: “O-oh my.. that’s a lot of blood.”

B: Are you okay?/What happened to you?

Ce: “…I think Im okay now..?”

Ca: “What did those guys want with you?!”

Ce: “I-It was hard to pay attention. They wanted to experiment on me for my crest..”

B: Your crest?

Ce: “When they attacked me, I tried fighting back and my crest activated… Seeing what it was or not recognizing it made them nab me. Nobody was around to help..”

L: “You should let me heal your wounds… They could get infected”

Ce: “N-no please. Im not sure healing magic will work…”

L: “Nonsense.. please allow me to heal you.”

Ce: “if you insist..”

B: Who were those guys…

Ce: “I wish I knew, professor… I wish I knew...”

Ca: “Next time I see them i’ll pummel them for messing with my friend!!”

L: “Might I ask you remain closer to me during battle, Cerirn?”

Ce: “Sure, Linhardt”

Post Timeskip this specific squence would only happen Crimison Flower route. Cerirn goes missing, a tactical team locates him and the Strike Force raids the base and takes Cerirn back.

In the other routes where Cerirn is recruited, The group will spiral into a panic when Cerirn goes missing. The battle is delayed, making the new end-of month battle to find Cerirn. If Linhardt was recruited you can notice that he keeps to himself in this time period and if both he and Caspar were recruited, Caspar will be next to Linhardt for support. When Cerirn is found he is in much worse condition then when this would’ve happened Pre-Timeskip. He is barely able to speak in the “after battle” coversation and when they go to leave, Caspar (if recruited, if not then Dedue/Raphael) has to carry Cerirn on his back because he isnt very steady on his feet. After this, Cerirn’s crest will activate more often but if activated say about 10 times per battle, Cerirn will take about 4 damage after a crest use.

I’m putting this out there.

THIS IDEA HAS LIVED IN MY HEAD RENT FREE FOR TOO LONG.

What if Miklan wasnt a fucking dumbass and never stole the Lance of Ruin? Never being turned into the Black Beast. How the fuck would anyone know not to use incorrect relics with the wrong people. Especially if Rhea withheld the information to keep panic from spreading.

And now. Imagine Byleth gave someone- a commoner with no crest- a relic, assuming from what Rhea said- it would function as a normal weapon. But instead, Mid-battle, the student the incorrect relic was given to turns into a Demonic Beast- in the middle of the battlefield. Having to make the others strike down their own classmate.

Imagine it with the Blue Lion’s route- and Ashe turns into the Demonic Beast.

Imagine. That.
