A Species Of Pack Hunters That Slice Their Prey With Bones Protruding From Their Skull. They Still Eat

A species of pack hunters that slice their prey with bones protruding from their skull. They still eat out of a proboscis located at their chin.
I should probably create another blog about my aircraft (I have an absolute tonne of them), it’s not going to be like my other blog which is kinda dead tbh. Would any of you like to see this?

My commission done by the awesome @iguanodont check out his blog if you like speculative biology.

Completed commission for @missionluna , depicting two flying animals high over the mountains of Luna, his world building setting. It’s still in its early stages of development, give it a look and see where it goes!
Planet Luna is a slightly lower gravity world than earth, helping to facilitate the evolution of highly specialized lighter-than-air organisms. Helium produced as a metabolic byproduct accumulates in their mostly hollow bodies and fills the long, pressurized tentacles of air-squid to move them with remarkable dexterity. They move by expelling waste air from the rear end.
Airsquids use their spiny arms to capture smaller flying animals, as shown here. Numerous battle-scars on the animal’s body indicate its strength and experience; these solitary creatures rake their arms over the body of rivals in an effort to puncture their skin and send them crashing the ground.

I’m still alive! Even though I have not posted in AGES.
I have been not posting very much recently, (apologies) but here is all my animation stuck together with music and more ambience.

Lunas’s mesa biome is characterised by its marble pillars sticking out of the sand.
This is a heavily scavengers reign inspired piece, if you want a good show about well designed aliens then go watch it (on Netflix & HBO)
