Hi!! I Can't Really Find If Your Requests Are Open But I Really Love How You Write For Lo'ak And I Was

Hi!! i can't really find if your requests are open but i really love how you write for lo'ak and i was wondering if you could write one where Jake is screaming at him yet again but he's being a bit too harsh this time so human reader stands in front of lo'ak and tells jake off? And everyone is obviously shocked because no one confronts Jake like that when he's angry, especially if it's family matters (except for neytiri of course). And clearly reader can't do much, i mean with the height difference Jake could just shove her to the side but he is quite impressed and kinda proud of the badass girl his son got himself 👀😂🤭

Hi!! I Can't Really Find If Your Requests Are Open But I Really Love How You Write For Lo'ak And I Was

Lo'ak's presence at this time of day was very strange for you. Usually the two of you used to see each other in the afternoon, when he had finished his duties. Being in a totally new clan, his duties were very different and difficult. So having him sitting behind you made you very curious. "mmm…should I ask you why you're here?" you speak, giving a glance at your mate. He was styling a piece of your hair, while humming a song. "Can't I be with you? Ah" speaks lo'ak with a teasing tone. "No…of course you can. I love that you're with me but… you're not usually with me this early in the morning. Did something happen?" you speak, and you swear you feel lo'ak tense up a little. Letting go of your hair, to now place your hands in the sand. Letting his body relax. "ahhh all good…nothing happened" lo'ak sounds a little nervous. You turn around, now sitting on your knees. You move closer to him, so you can lean over and stroke the side of his face a little. You notice a scar on his forehead.

You hadn't noticed it before, because he just came and sat behind you. "Love…what's that? Why are you hurt?" the more you talk, you can notice that he has some bruises on his arms and thighs. "Baby…don't worry it's nothing" lo'ak tries to sound disiterested. But you are already carefully touching his bruises, getting closer to his face. "Lo'ak you need to get healed…you are in bad condition" you are worried, he had two pretty deep wounds on his chest. "Tell me what happened, please" your voice sounds somewhat cut off, Lo'ak couldn't see you so worried. You were looking sadly at his bruises, trying to do something. While you were comforting him. "I…ahhh. It was another fight with ao'nung" lo'ak speaks softly. Lowering his head. "But this wasn't just a fight, this is serious" you place a hand on his chin, lifting his face. Lo'ak looks at you…his eyes were a little glassy. "We went to the arecife, they invited me. I accepted, because I thought we would have a good time…but they started teasing me and it was 6 against 1…so" lo'ak pauses, feeling you hold his face. "I did what I could…I got out of there and came looking for you" lo'ak stops talking, looking at you. He could notice your teary eyes. "Baby don't cry" lo'ak takes you by the shoulders, caressing your skin. "I hate when this happens to you…why are they like this with you?" you speak, wrapping your arms around his neck. Giving him a tight hug, you feel lo'ak hug you back. The hate and anger they had for lo'ak was not normal, both of you had been in the clan for 3 years and nothing had changed.

You look up, seeing some figures approaching you. The closer they came the more you recognized them. It was Jake, next to him was Neytiri. The way he was walking, you could tell how angry they were. You two separate and you see how lo'ak gets up from the ground nervously, approaching you. Tangling his tail around your leg. Lo'ak was a man now, but the fear of his father's accusations were killing him. Jake approaches, he had his thumbs locked. "What the hell did you do now" Jake shouts. "Dad…I can explain" lo'ak holds up his hands, trying to keep some space between them. "No…you shut up. I'm sick of you and your stupid actions" jake was literally screaming in lo'ak's face. You were standing next to him, looking up. This situation was getting on your nerves, you were at your limit. You can't take it anymore, and in one swift move. You get in between the two male figures. Pushing jake with all your strength, so that he would move away from lo'ak.

"YOU HAVE TO STOP!!!!" you shout, while jake steps back somewhat surprised. Well…he was very surprised. Neytiri had been left open-mouthed, by your actions. "THAT'S THE FIRST AND LAST TIME YOU SCREAM AND FIGHT MY PARTNER" You were red, and you looked adorable. You were so small compared to the two na'vi men standing next to you. But you looked furious…speaking with authority. "What the…" jake tries to speak, but you shout back. "HAVE YOU EVEN ASKED HIM WHAT HAPPENED? OR DON'T YOU SEE HOW HURT YOUR SON IS? AH? YOU JUST ACCUSE HIM OF EVERYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT REALLY HAPPENED…I'M SICK OF IT" you yell, turning around to grab lo'ak's hand and walk off in the opposite direction. "Y/N!!!" Neytiri yells a little, trying to get your attention. "YOU DON'T DARE TALK ABOUT LO'AK, I'M ALSO PISSED AT YOU" you yell back aneytiri, this from hiss in response. Jake holds neytiri by the shoulder, and you keep walking with lo'ak. Jake tries to control neytiri, they were two strong women. He didn't want something to happen that they would later regret. Lo'ak was in a state of shock, you had yelled at his father and mother…you had defended him. Knowing that if jake wanted to, he would have kicked you and you would have flown somewhere else. The boy just followed you, as he watched you walk around annoyed, mumbling nonsense.

As you walked away from the place, you walked for about 15 minutes. You let go of lo'ak's hand. You kicked a few times in the sand, while the boy looked at you with admiration. His strong and brave mate had defended him. His heart was pounding. Between the na'vi to defend and take care of your partner, was a gesture of pure love. You had shown lo'ak that you were capable of giving your life for him. Defending him from something bigger than you, more dangerous than you. Only for his well being. He slowly sits down on the sand, watching as you still bring out all your fury. You turn around, and are met with the most adorable scene. Lo'ak was sitting, cross-legged. His eyes were looking at you with admiration and his pupils were dilated. His tail was wagging from side to side. And his ears were back. "Lo'ak…I…I'm sorry" you lower your head. You were embarrassed, you shouldn't have talked to Jake like that.

"You are amazing…my strong Y/N" you stand there in shook, lifting your gaze to see lo'ak with a goofy smile on his face. "You're not mad at me?" you ask him, lo'ak moves forward taking your hand. Making you move closer towards him, wrapping his hands around your waist. Pulling your body closer to his chest. Giving you a kiss on your forehead, you let yourself fall forward a little, enjoying his caress. "Why would I be upset with you, if you just took care of me?" says lo'ak, you giggle a little. "Are you blushing?" you tease, touching his ears. "Hey…it's not everyday you get to watch your cute little partner take on your dad. You were amazing" lo'ak changes his voice a tone deeper, moving closer so he can press a kiss to your neck. You giggle a little, craning your neck to the side to give him more access to your neck. "Your father is going to hate me, for life. And if your mother doesn't kill me in two weeks " you speak, watching as lo'ak pulls away from you, and gives you a look. "I think she's afraid of you now" lo'ak jokes, moving closer over your body. Kissing your chest, listening to your giggles. "Or he's just going to look adorable on you" lo'ak speaks.

On the other hand, jake is still standing there in the same place, in a state of shook. "that girl is" neytiri starts talking, but she is also too shocked to speak. "She is brave" says jake. He felt a little confused. He was upset with you, but at the same time he felt respect towards you. You had stood up for your partner, you had stood up to him. Of course, he was going to talk to you seriously later. But he was proud, his son had found a strong partner, who was able to take care of him and his future family. Just like his mother.

Stuck with me

Pairing- Ao'nung x Sully!reader

Summary- You didn't like violence, Ao'nung had the urge to protect you. He falls in love with you and seeing you protect him pulled him in deeper and then you get stuck with each other.

Warnings- blood, bruises, fighting

Stuck With Me

You didn't like violence, not even a little. You didn't even like to yell. You just wanted everyone to get along. And you were the best warriors going neck to neck with your mother Neytiri. But even as a warrior you try to get in as little violence as possible, but sometimes it is inevitable.

"Hey forest girl." Ao'nung said he had been trying to get under your skin for weeks. He has gotten all of your siblings but you. "Hi Ao'nung." You smile and his transparent eyebrows furrow. "So you call this a tail." He said pulling on your tail slightly. Pulling it from him, "Yes I do as you call yours a tail, would you like to join me in medicine making today?" You quickly change the subject and this confuses the boy even more. "No." He said quickly walking off.

After that day he tried everything to get you to even yell at him. But you didn't budge, you only gave him a smile and a few quick words. And finally he gave in. Walking next to you on the beach as you pick up shells that Tuk asked for. "Hey Y/N." Ao'nung said before you could speak another group of boys passed you. "Hey freak." One yelled out and Ao'nung looked offended for you and all you did was pick up another shell and continue walking. The boys scoff before leaving. He watched as you deflected every insensitive thing that a few people threw at you, how you continued to do your task at hand and not yell and fight back as he would, he admired you. And he had this urge to protect you.

And protect you he did.

You had been laying in the sand soaking up the sun as the group of boys from a few days ago came across you again. Ao'nung had been only a few feet away and may or may not have been keeping an eye on you. "Hey freak." One of them said you open your eyes and stand up brushing sand off of yourself before smiling at them. "So is it true?" One of them asked and you turned to him. "What true?" You ask. "That your father was a demon my mom said that all demons should be killed." He said and you shake your head side to side. "Well my father was of demon blood and then he became one of the people-" cut off by the boy again. "So you're a demon." He laughed and you began to walk away not wanting to start anything.

As you walked away Ao'nung walked behind you, "Call her a demon again and I'll skin you alive." He hissed. He caught up to you and you looked at him. "You know you did not need to do that." You say walking to your family's home. "Yes, I know but I wanted to protect you." He said as you shake your head walking into the marui.

As you walk in you smile at your family before sitting in the circle they had made. "Ao'nung said he wanted to protect Y/N." Neytiri laughed and you shook your head side to side as your family laughed along with her. "Ao'nung protect Y/N, she fought a thantor without a weapon I think she is good." Lo'ak laughed. "That was only because it was trying to eat all of you, I do not like violence." You say grabbing a piece of fruit your mother freshly cut. The laughter died down as they continued to talk about all kinds of things. Jake watched from across the hut watching as you looked around, a peaceful smile rested on your lips. You reminded him so much of your mother it made him so proud, but scared him a little.

-One week later-

Everyone was waiting at the dock searching for Lo'ak. Everyone stopped as they watch him ride to docks. Neteyam dragged Ao'nung by the arm, and put him in front of your parents. Lo'ak stomped toward Ao'nung before Jake stepped in front of him. "Tell them what you told me." Neteyam spoke loudly. "We took Lo'ak out to Three Brothers Rock and left him there." He looked ashamed, almost regretful to have done this, he avoided everyone's eyes but your gaze the most.

Tonowari sighed at this and you watched as Lo'aks eyes glazed over everyone. "It was my idea to go to the island, it wasn't Ao'nungs fault." Lo'ak said and the next thing your father spoke hurt. "I'm disappointed in you Lo'ak." Lo'ak looked taken back before he stormed off Ao'nung on his tail.

You hadn't known what was said between the two but what you couldn't get Ao'nung and the way he looked earlier that night. You silently step out of your mauri and see Ao'nung standing at the edge of the beach.

You walk up next to him and he turns his head, eyes widened as shocked to see you.

"Hello, Ao'nung." You say and he takes a deep breath in. "Hey Y/N, I'm sorry for what I did to your brother." He said quietly and you hummed. "I know." You say sitting on the sand. He followed with a bewildered expression. "You do."

"Yes."

"How?" He asked and you giggled which only confused him more.

"You are not as clever as you think you are Ao'nung, I see what others do not, I know that you take care of the people you care for, I know that you don't like bullying people but it makes you feel better about yourself if you make others feel just as bad as you. Am I correct or should I go on?" You ask and his face fell had he been that transparent?

"Don't please don't go on." He said, rubbing his eyes. "You're right, I do like feeling like that, Eywa have I always been a skwang?" He asked himself and you. You oat his shoulder before laughing a little. "Maybe but you can always change huh or do you still want to be a skwang?" You joke and his head shoots up and shakes it before laughing. "So Y/N friends?" He asked, putting his hand out and you pretend to think before connecting your hand to his shaking it. "Friends."

And that is how it went, you and Ao'nung somehow ended up being each other's best friends. Everyone found it strange, best friends with the person who left your brother for dead but they couldn't help but be grateful. Ever since he started hanging out with you, he's caused less and less trouble. In a situation where he would have just straight swinged you taught him just to ignore it. He admired you for your peaceful nature but it still confused him. He heard that you were the greatest young warrior in the Omaticaya but he hadn't seen you get into a fight once. He shakes the thoughts as he continues listening to your conversation.

"Yeah I did get into that fight and you just sat there sighing, maybe one day you'll have enough and beat me a new one huh N/N." He joked pushing your shoulder teasingly and you only shake your head as you continue to weave the basket you had in your lap.

From afar Ronal and Tonowari watch the interaction. "You know Tono I don't know why but they seem a lot like us when we were their age no?" Ronal said walking into their home. "Yes my love I see it too for some odd reason, Y/N though I think she is the nicest warrior I've ever met." Tonowari said as he settled into his and Ronal's cot.

Now it was the next day, as there would be this huge party to celebrate the entrance to a new season. It would be huge.

And it was everyone dressing up, loud music blasted into your ears, many danced, and alcoholic drinks went around and ran through most. It was pretty peaceful until someone yelled from across the land.

"I am the best warrior out here I could take on anyone." He yelled he was clearly drunk from the way his speech slurred and he took another swig of the drink. And you giggled a little from his statement as did many others. But Eywa seemed to be on the other side today, he clicked you laughing and stomped his way to you. You sat with Kiri on your left and Ao'nung on your right.

"So the little forest girl thinks she is better than me." You sigh as you ignore his persistent badgering. But that just wouldn't do for him. He slammed his hands on the table making you flinch from the loud sound so close to your ears and he yelled out insults about you left and right.

Ao'nung had seemed to have enough. He stood up. "Hey just leave her alone-" cut off by the man who just slammed his fist onto the side of Ao'nungs face. Everyone gasped as the man spouted insults this time to Ao'nung.

"Can't even protect yourself how come this little boy gets to be the next Olo'eyktan he has no right." The man yelled and just as they got up to diffuse the situation everyone stood shocked as you stood in front of the man with the same sweet smile painted on your face.

"He has no right? And I suppose you do? Ao'nung was born to be Olo'eyktan, he's trained, he's learned, he's grown, sure you know how to fish but do you know how to lead a clan?" You told the boy off and he was drunk and your words seemed to anger him, his hands ball into a fist and then he threw his hand towards your face. You catch his hand mid throw, the sweet smile now gone cold expression replaces it. Shivers run down the man's back as you speak in a low voice.

"I have given you a chance to back down, but it seems I'll have to give you one you'll never forget." You say and the last thing yelled was a loud, "Y/N don't!" From your younger sister Kiri.

It wasn't much of a fight as your tight fist landed on his face, a crunch heard from his nose. He held his nose as you punched him in the face again and again making him drop onto the ground. His face was black and blue with a hint of red running down his both nostrils. Pulling your bloodied hands up to your side you look down on him.

Ao'nung was looking at you, mesmerized you've never seemed so beautiful. Lo'ak was yelling "Get his ass Y/N punch him in the dick-'' he screamed, pumping his fist in the air. "We are so kicked out." Jake said rubbing his eyes and Neytiri watched you slightly proud.

Your turn to him and the blood running from his nose alerts you. But it seems the beating you gave the boy wasn't enough as he stands up on his knees not even fully still spewing insults and how he was going to beat you and you finally had enough. "Stand down!" You yell and everyone seems taken back as the bass of your voice booms. You've never yelled, hell you've never been angry but right now everyone seemed a little scared at the dark look in your eyes and the terrifying in your voice. Everyone backed down as you stood up, tilting their heads down for respect.

Tonowari stood shocked, mouth agape at what just went down, while Ronal had a quiet smile on her lips.

You turn back to Ao'nung and the scowl on your face softens as you walk to him.

"Ao'nung, Ao'nung." You say crouching next to him. "Are you okay? Were you injured anywhere else?" You ask, touching his head for a fever. "You're so beautiful." He whispers and only you hear. "He's delusional, come on get up, let's clean you up." You say grabbing his hands with your bruised knuckles strained pulling him from the ground. Ronal turns to Tonowari now they see how they saw themselves in you two.

Later that night after you cleaned Ao'nung up and took him home, Tonowari and Ronal had a conversation.

"She would make a great Tsahik, she is a great healer better than almost everyone in the island and did you see how she protected Ao'nung she is perfect, kind, and strong." Ronal spoke to her husband.

Tonowari was still stuck at the party how you fought that man with ease he was in awe. "She lived here for months and she didn't get into a fight, not even an argument even when bullied. And she only did it when she saw Ao'nung was in trouble." He whispered to himself, smiling a little. Ronal turned to him. "What?" She hadn't heard him. "She would make a great mate and Tsahik she doesn't make brash decisions like Ao'nung she's perfect for him." He replied to his wife who had a huge grin on her face. It was settled between the two of you and Ao'nung should be mates.

They wanted things to settle before they contacted your parents who now stand in front of them. Jake and Neytiri go to kneel down and apologize and ask to stay before Ronal stops them. "Let us sit." Tonowari said.

Ronal poured hot tea for everyone as she sat next to her husband. "We would like to discuss something important." Ronal started and Jake nodded. "It's about Y/N." She added and Neytiri straightened her back and Jake began to speak. "What about Y/N is it about the other day I know sometimes she is rash and doesn't think I had a conversation with her-"

"No it is not about that." Ronal stopped him and urged her husband into the conversation. "Me and Ronal had a talk and we decided that Y/N would be a perfect fit for Ao'nung and would like to discuss and arrange marriage." Tonowari ended.

Neytiri's eyes widened. She hadn't seen the love that bloomed between the two of you. And she knows what it feels like to be in an arranged marriage and she goes to speak. "I do not want my daughter in a marriage she does not want-" cut off by Jake. "We accept." Neytiri looked caught off guard by his acceptance. "Neytiri, you should truly see how they look at each other. They are in love, and I'm not talking about stupid teenage love, I'm talking about honest love. She beat someone to pulp for touching him and you know our daughter." He spoke softly to her and she shook her head up and down. "Then if she truly does love him," she said, pausing.

"Then we accept."

Jake and Neytiri left and went to go find you and there you were looking at your bruised hands. Jake coughs altering you he was there. "Oh hello father, mother." You say tilting your head down. "Y/N, daughter." Neytiri said in a soft tone tucking your hair behind your ear. "Mother." You say again. "Y/N you will be Ao'nungs mate. We have talked to Ronal and Tonowari and we came to the conclusion that the pairing of you would be best." Jake said quickly.

Blinking at the news just given to you, a small smile traces your lips. You shake your head up and down as you turn away looking at the setting sun. "Okay." Was all you said as you walked away from them. They looked at each other and only took a sharp breath collectively.

And as your parents told you if your arrangement Ronal and Tonowari told Ao'nung. He was ecstatic, he had never been so happy in his life. But what gnawed at him was this overwhelmed sense that you didn't feel as happy over your betrothal. So he sat at the ilu deck and looked at the water, happiness and sadness fighting over what controls him.

You see him and slowly sit next to him. "Hey." You say.

"Hey." He replies.

"So you hear," you say. "We're getting married." You say giggling a little after.

He smiles at you and laughs and he turns fully to you and takes a deep breath. "Are you happy with this arrangement you have a choice Y/N." Ao'nung says looking away from you. It was silent, the most uncomfortable silence he's ever been in.

"Guess I'm stuck with you Ma Ao'nung." You say his ears perk at your words and he smiles.

"Happy to be stuck with you Ma Y/N."

Forgiving love (Aonung x reader)

Forgiving Love (Aonung X Reader)

Masterlist

Description: Despite him pestering your twin and siblings, you couldn’t help yourself - you fell for the tall Metkayina. You didn’t expect it to be that hard.

Warnings: insecure reader, a lil angst (but happy ending as always) and danger, suggestive but no smut, Aged!up characters, Aonung is about 20 here and reader 18

9690 words

You really missed your home dearly, but you had to admit it was getting easier to bear the more you adjusted to the Metkayina way of life. At first you and your siblings had a hard time adjusting, but you were slowly getting the hang of it. Tsireya was a wonderful teacher, she was always so patient with all of you and really gave her best to help you, which wasn’t always easy.

Your bodies were different and not made for the reefs, and that was something she couldn’t change with her kindness, eventhough your twin looked at her as if she could move the stars. You thought it was cute, Tsireya seemed like the perfect match for your reckless and rulebreaking brother. He was your complete opposite, but that’s what made you two work as twins, your calm and gentle nature grounding him and his outgoing character pulling you out of your shell.

Tsireyas brother was a different story. He was also assigned by his father - the Olo’eyktan - to teach you the way of their people, but he hated you all from the start. He called your brothers and Kiri demons, bullying them with his friends and acting like a total skxawng. And your heart still sped up everytime he was near you. He had never actually insulted you or anything though, your siblings just as confused about that as you. Maybe it was because he knew that Neteyam and Lo’ak would beat him for messing with their little sister - yes, Lo’ak insisted you were his younger sister, being born ten minutes before you.

You thought of the way Aonung had looked at you when you first arrived in Awa‘atlu, his pretty blue eyes piercing yours with an intensity that still made your knees weak. He kept his distance, not being mean but also not being nice, just staring at you. It made you nervous, not being able to interpret what he meant with his stare - was it curiosity or disgust?

What you didn’t know was that you had captured Aonungs attention from the moment he first laid his eyes on you. He thought you looked different, but he thought you were beautiful right away. He would never admit that of course, no matter how much his skin heated up when you looked at him, or how much his heart fluttered in his chest. He tried to deny and suppress any feelings that were blossoming, instead busying himself with harassing your siblings. Not you though - he couldn’t bear the thought of you being sad because of him, no matter how much he hated himself for it.

They were supposed to teach you how to ride Ilus today, Lo‘ak went first, probably trying to impress Tsireya. That didn’t go the way he wanted it to though. You were standing in the water next to Tuk and Rotxo, giggling a little when your brother fell off his Ilu ungracefully. Tsireya had to laugh too, but the way she convinced your brother to try again assured you that she really liked him.

You couldn’t stop your own eyes from finding their way to her brother, he was standing a little farther from you, laughing about your brother with his friends. It was in a different kind of way though - not in a happy, nice one, he was being mean. Your smile fell and when he met your eyes, you looked away quickly.

He hated how the smile faded on your face when you saw him and his friends laughing about your stupid brother, his own laugh stopping as well. The way you refused to meet his eyes made his chest feel constricted, and he decided just this once he would be nice to you. He left his slightly confused friends behind and made his way over to you, Rotxo seeing him and ushering away your little sister. That boy noticed more than he thought.

You were wondering why Rotxo took Tuk away, when suddenly you felt another presence next to you. „(Y/N)“, his voice was deep and the way he said your name sent a shiver down your back. „Aonung“, you couldn’t help but smile shyly, your body betraying your mind.

His speech was momentarily disabled, his eyes wide while taking in your beautiful smile and blushed cheeks. „Come on, I’ll teach you“, he kept it short, nodding his head to a spot a few meters away and turned around to go there. He could feel you following him, unconsciously clenching his back muscles with a smirk - he could feel your eyes roam over them.

You were confused - why was he offering to teach you? He hadn’t been happy to help you all from the start, and now his sister was already teaching you - he could’ve easily gotten out of this one. So why was he anyway? He moved his hands through the water, pulling clicking noises from his throat to call for an Ilu. Eywa, why were the smallest things he did so attractive. When one of the Ilus stopped infront of him, he beckoned you over and you slowly made your way to stand next to him.

The tall Metkayina was towering over your small frame, placing his large hand on your back to push you in the direction of the animal. The Ilu turned its head, your hand automatically raising carefully to stroke its soft skin, happy noises leaving its throat. A smile spread across your face, the Ilus were really sweet. Suddenly two big hands grabbed your waist, completely engulfing it and picked you up without effort, setting you down on top of the large animal.

You let out a startled gasp, your small hands grabbing onto his and he couldn’t help but chuckle at that. Eywa help him, you were so cute. It was so hard to pull his hands back, already missing the feeling of holding you before he even let go, but he did let go and stepped next to you. He couldn’t help but lay one of his hands on your back, the more he was touching you the less he could control his feelings.

„Make tsaheylu and hold on sevin“, you felt the blush spread down your neck when he called you pretty, you were so whipped for this man. You did as you were told, feeling the animal underneath you and holding on tightly. „You need to hold on with your thighs at first, otherwise you’ll fall like your brother“, he explained gripping your thigh firmly and putting it in the right position.

Your were speechless, where was all this affection and touchiness coming from? Your heart really couldn’t keep up with this and your Ilu was consequently also restless underneath you. „Mawey (Y/N), you need to calm down“, he told you, but the smirk on his face was telling you he enjoyed this. His hand snuck to your waist to keep you steady and your face got even hotter.

„Aonung“, you could only manage to whisper, your voice not quite working and he enjoyed every second of your reaction to him. „What is it?“, he grinned and squeezed your waist, his big hand covering most of your back. „I can’t“, you were shocked by how frozen you were under his gaze, you were shy most of the time, but he had you completely at his mercy.

„You can’t calm down? Why?“, he played dumb with you, stepping even closer and peering into your eyes from above. „You’re touching me“, you pressed out, ashamed by admitting he made you nervous, but you were never good at lying. One reason why Lo’ak didn’t like to take you with him when he did something he wasn’t supposed to.

Aonung chuckled at your confession, he loved your soft and innocent nature. „Alright pretty girl, let’s see what you’ve got“, he squeezed your waist one last time before letting you go, and after a few deep breath (that seemed to go in and out easier now that he didn’t have his hands on you) you gently urged your Ilu to move.

Unbeknownst to you your brothers were looking at the both of you with a scowl. „Why the fuck is he touching her like that“, Lo’ak seethed, Tsireya was occupied with Tuk, and Kiri just rolled her eyes at her brothers. „You two are really blind“, she didn’t like the Olo’eyktans son either, but he was obviously enamored with you, and maybe that would help them get accepted here faster. „What? What do you mean?“, Lo’ak was on high alert, after all you were his little twin sister he had to make sure you were okay. Kiri just walked over to Tsireya. „Hey! Don’t walk away!“, he called out and followed after her, Neteyam on his heels - he wasn’t as loud in his concerns but he was just as wary about Aonung.

—————————

You needed a break from your brothers constant questioning, you were just glad that your father hadn’t heard them yet, you would probably never be allowed to go anywhere without an escort again. You had found an empty stretch of beach after dinner where you could have some peace and quiet for a while, just trying to process Aonungs touchiness over the last few days.

You were unsure what to make of it, he wasn’t mean before but you still weren’t convinced he was being genuine. Maybe he just liked to get a rise out of your brothers, he was always bullying them anyway. You were actually scared that he was messing with you, you really liked him, your feelings had only grown over the last few days with all that touching and calling you pretty. Your heart would be seriously broken if he would’ve been playing with you, but it was your fault - you were playing right into his cards with your reactions.

Before you could sink into you dark thoughts too much, you heard footsteps in the sands and your ear twitched in annoyance. If Lo’ak was telling you to stop talking to Aonung again, you would kick him in the shin. „Why so unhappy pretty girl?“, your heart skipped a beat when you heard Aonungs voice, his large body sitting down next to you at the shore.

The ocean was spending some light with its bioluminescence, and when you looked at him his freckles were glowing so prettily you couldn’t help but blush. Eywa, your body was such a traitor. „Just my brothers“, you mumbled, looking back at the horizon, but his eyes didn’t leave you.

Aonung just couldn’t resist when he saw you sitting there all alone, since he had helped you with riding your Ilu, he couldn’t keep his hands away from you. He was less and less annoyed with his own feelings, brushing off his friends when they asked about his behavior. He loved your reactions to him, just like your pretty blush and glowing freckles right now, your disgruntled brothers were just an added bonus. You looked different than the Metkayina women, but he loved it.

„Yes they can be annoying“, he chuckled and moved a little closer to you, your arms almost touching. You only sighed and rolled your eyes at his statement. „Why are you out here all alone?“, you asked him, wondering why he wasn’t with his family or his mean group of friends - except for Rotxo, he was a sweetheart.

„Ah“, he sighed, remembering why he fled his family’s marui, „my parents are constantly talking about me choosing a mate, discussing the best options and I needed a break.“ When he tried to think of the options his parents were discussing he suddenly came up blank, the only woman in his mind was you - and that startled him for a moment.

„Oh“, you were shocked by his honesty, you didn’t think he would talk to you about serious topics, „you don’t want to choose a mate yet?“ You we’re looking at him with curious eyes, he was so handsome and he was one of the best warriors and hunters, not to mention the future Olo’eyktan, he could probably choose whoever he wanted, so why didn’t he? A constricting feeling took a hold of your chest.

„That’s not it“, you’ve never seen him look so conflicted, the crease between his eyebrows deep and worried, „I want someone I love, someone I see, not the best in that or the strongest in whatever.“ You hummed in agreement, you knew how he felt, your oldest brother was supposed to choose a mate before you left aswell, and he was conflicted too. You yourself hadn’t put too much thought into choosing someone yet, you had only just become an adult when you left your clan, but Aonung was two years your elder and the pressure was harder on him.

„Is there no one in the clan that you like?“, you wondered, but the thought of seeing another girl in his arms made you swallow down the lump in your throat. He didn’t answer, instead opting to gaze into your eyes, making you incredibly nervous and flustered. „Do you have your eyes on someone?“, he countered your previous question and you looked away when he leaned forward.

He had to admit he was a little worried you would say the name of another male, the thought of you being another’s mate made his instincts go crazy. Just like him you didn’t answer, but he interpreted the way you gazed up at him through your lashes in a positive way. He grinned to himself, grabbing your hand and enjoying how your thin tail moved behind you nervously. You still leaned into him a little, and interlaced your fingers with his almost automatically, his skin tingling pleasantly and the two of you just enjoyed the silence.

—————————

You and Lo‘ak were strolling around the beach and talking about what he could make for Tsireya to convey his feelings when you heard it. „What are you? Some kind of freak?“, you instantly recognized the voice - and so did Lo’ak - and your heart dropped. You both turned around and saw Aonung and his friends stand around Kiri, taking her hand and laughing about whatever.

Lo’ak immediately started to stomp over there and you broke out of your stupor you followed after him with delay. Your sister looked annoyed and - eventhough she would never admit it - a little hurt by their comments and ridicule. Lo’ak immediately pushed Aonung back with his hand on his chest, the older boy holding his hands up in mocking defense.

He hadn’t seen you yet, but you had to make sure your sister was okay first before dealing with the Olo’eyktans son. „Are you alright Kiri?“, you grabbed her hand and spoke quietly, her hand squeezing yours in comfort and a nod confirming her well-being. You met Aonungs eyes when you looked back to the scene in front of you, and his face fell when he realized you witnessed this.

He didn’t even know why he made fun of you sister, or your siblings in general, but the look of disappointment in your eyes made him want to hit himself for his actions. But before he could do or say anything, your older brother was already on him. „Leave her alone“, Neteyam had enough of Aonung and his friends, his finger pressing into the other boys chest firmly.

„From now on, I need you to respect my siblings“, he growled and again, Aonungs hands went up in a mocking way. He couldn’t help the smirk that made its way onto his face, he couldn’t show weakness infront of his friends, even if he was sorry to have upset you. Neteyam rolled his eyes and stalked back to you and his siblings and you turned to walk away, when one of his friends said: „They’re all freaks, the whole family.“

The hurt look that flashed across your face was enough to make his fists itch with the need to punch his friend, but suddenly Lo’ak turned around again and walked towards him. „Yeah, yeah that’s real funny“, you knew your brother was about to do something stupid, „look I have five fingers I’m a freak!“

He was standing infront of Aonung, the other boys laughing at him. „But I can do something real cool with it, first I fold them, like this and then…“, Lo’ak hit Aonung square in the face with his fist, the taller Metkayina falling into the sand and all hell broke loose. Lo’ak and the other boys were fighting, your brother landing a couple of nasty punches, but when they started to overpower him Neteyam next to you sighed and joined his brother.

„Stop it you skxawngs!“, your sister called out, but she was laughing too so she didn’t really care if they stopped. You on the other hand were worried, your father told you not to get in trouble and here you were, your brothers beating up and getting beat up by the Olo’eyktans son and his friends.

„Lo’ak, Neteyam stop it!“, you shouted moving towards the piles of fighting Na‘vis. One was on top of Lo’ak, punching him in the jaw and you winced in empathy. „Hey stop it! Please!“, but he didn’t seem to hear you in the commotion, and when you tried to pull at his arm it happened so quickly you didn’t realize until you were laying in the sand, looking up at the sky.

Your lip was hurting and you could taste some blood, and in retrospect you chided yourself for being so stupid as to go in the middle of two fighting Na‘vi, especially ones that were way larger than you. No wonder that boys elbow seemed to have hit you in the face. But it seemed like your little injury atleast stopped the fighting, the boy and Lo’ak looked at you frozen in place and once your sister yelled „(Y/N!)“ in shock, everyone froze.

„You asshole!“, Aonung was in rage and everyone was absolutely shocked to see him tackle his friend off of Lo’ak, landing punch to his nose before the other started to defend himself. You were the first one to act, standing up and locking eyes with your older brother. „Stop him!“, you didn’t know why he suddenly attacked his friend, but he seemed so furious that he probably couldn’t be stopped with words. Lo’ak jumped up too, and together they pulled Aonung off the other boy, whose nose was bleeding profusely.

He felt himself being hauled up and tried to break free again, but it was no use. And when he saw your shocked face, he stopped completely, wincing when he saw the blood trickle down your chin slightly. He took in the shocked looks of his friends, and felt a little guilty for beating up the one on the ground, but when he saw you hurt in the sand he felt like he couldn’t control his actions. Eywa, he was way more screwed than he thought.

There were a few moments of tense silence, before you decided it would be a good idea to break this up so everyone could cool down a little. You walked over to your brothers still holding Aonung and gently gripped his biceps, urging him to follow you and he moved from your brothers hold to where you maneuvered him without resistance. „Get him to the Tsahìk“, you gestured to the Na‘vi still laying on the ground, spitting blood onto the sand.

Your brothers were reluctant to let you leave with Aonung, but you could hear your sister scold them while you were leading Aonung away. He was still following you silently, you two weren’t talking until you entered your family’s marui, which was thankfully empty. You sat him down in the corner where you had stored your healing supplies, you and Kiri both were taught by your grandmother.

„I’m sorry“, he broke the silence first and you sighed, dipping your fingers in the paste you had made just yesterday, before softly applying it to the bruises on his face. „You need to tell Kiri, not me“, you didn’t look into his eyes, you were nervous enough being this close to him. „I didn’t mean for you to get hurt“, he sounded really guilty and you set the paste down to talk this out. He took the chance to pick it up, carefully putting some on the cut in your lip and you looked at him wide-eyed, before you shook yourself out of it.

„I was hurt before your friends elbow hit my face Aonung. I have five fingers too you know, doesn’t that mean I’m a freak?“, you held up your hand and wiggled your fingers, a sad smile on your lips. He had never directly insulted you, but didn’t everything that applied to your siblings also apply to you? He frowned, taking your hand into his carefully, your hand completely swallowed by his big ones.

Fuck, he was so conflicted. His feelings for you were so intense, his heart racing just because you had applied some paste to his face and his stomach in tingles when your pretty eyes looked at him. But then there was the pressure from his friends, they loved to make fun of your family and eventhough he still thought all of you were different, he didn’t really mind anymore. You proved yourself to be quick learners after all. He was just afraid of their reaction when he would tell them to stop making fun of your family - or if he told them he liked you.

„No, no you’re not, never think that okay? I’m sorry, I really am, it’s just…“, he couldn’t finish the sentence, he was really bad at talking about his feelings. „Your friends?“, you hummed, gently putting your other hand on top of Aonungs, your other still engulfed between his. The size difference between them was almost comical.

He was astounded by how easily you could read him, another thing that made him fall harder. „Yeah“, he breathed looking to the ground in shame. He hated himself for hurting you just because he couldn’t be brave enough to stand up to his friends. „Maybe punching your friends wasn’t the best plan then“, you squeezed his hand and his skin felt slightly rough under your fingertips.

„Why did you do that anyway?“, you were curious about that since it happened. Aonung still didn’t look up, his posture stiffening and his hand holding yours tighter. You tried to ignore your blushing cheeks. „He hurt you“, he mumbled and you nearly didn’t hear him. „It was an accident“, you were confused but also flattered he defended you - but why? „Aonung why would you defend me anyway? I thought you didn’t like my family“, you sighed, his behavior confused to no end.

He was still silent, but he hesitantly pulled one of his hands back from where they were entangled with yours and finally looked up to meet your eyes. You were surprised to find that he looked a little insecure, but there was another emotion you couldn’t quite decipher. His hand gently gripped your cheek, your freckles already glowing from his close proximity and your ears moving nervously.

Eywa, he didn’t know what he was doing, he just knew it felt right. He would deal with the consequences later, emotional or social. You were blushing so beautifully and your eyes looked surprised by his actions, but he still felt you lean into his hand. When he leaned in closer your tail moved serenely behind you, and he couldn’t help but smile. „Aonung“, you basically whispered his name, and the feelings he got when you said it sent a shiver through him. Without further warning he softly but firmly pressed his lips to yours.

You were frozen for a second, before his hand on your cheek pulled you closer and you melted into him with a sigh, your eyes closing. Your wound burned a bit but you didn’t care, you couldn’t resist him if you tried, you were so in love, Eywa have mercy. Your hands untangled from his and you interlaced them behind his neck, his now free hand pulling you closer by your waist.

„Seems like the fight wasn’t that bad after all“, you winced when you heard your fathers voice behind you, quickly scrambling to stand which proved a little challenging, your legs felt like jelly after that kiss. „Dad!“, you shrieked, your face burning in embarrassment when you saw both your brothers standing next to your father with angry faces.

Aonung was quick to stand next to you, and if the situation wasn’t so bad you would’ve found his little blush cute. „Your father wants to speak to you, go boy“, your father was gesturing for Aonung to leave and you were glad this wasn’t turning into an uncomfortable conversation right away, „don’t think I’m done with you though.“

„Sorry Sir“, Aonung lowered his head and quickly rushed out of the marui. „What the hell (Y/N)!“, Lo’ak was scolding at you, just like Neteyam. Kiri just laughed instead. „I knew that boy had a thing for you“, she giggled and walked over to you. Your father was still silent, which scared you even more than if he would’ve been yelling.

The scolding you hat gotten from your father had been expected, but when he heard that the others were bullying Kiri he had atleast let you go, with the exception of you and Lo’ak. „What happened to your face babygirl?“, your father took your chin in his hand and looked over you in concern. „She tried to stop us and took and elbow to the face“, Lo’ak answered for you. Your father sighed, kissing your forehead.

„I need you to go apologize to Aonung“, he was talking to your brother again, who looked insulted by the idea of saying sorry to the Metkayina. „He’s the Olo’eyktans son, doesn’t matter who started it“, your father had that tone that didn’t leave any room for disscussions and Lo’ak just huffed, crossing his arms in annoyance.

————————

You were sitting outside your marui alone, it was already dark and everyone was busy. Your twin had gone off to apologize with a scowl on his face, and Kiri had questioned you about Aonung before your mother told her to help with dinner, giving you the chance to flee outside. You were still thinking about the feeling of his lips on yours, unsure of what the future would bring. Aonung seemed to be so influenced by his friends, how could he ever admit that he liked you - if he even did like you. You were scared he was just messing with you.

You didn’t get to sit in peace and quiet for long, your father joining you after awhile. „You wanna tell me about him?“, your father was uncharacteristically gentle and you looked up at him with a small smile. „I really like him“, you admitted and your father nodded in understanding.

„Mhm seems like he feels the same way“, Jake told you, but he couldn’t help the unhappy tone his voice took on. You were the first of his daughters that he had to watch fall in love and he realized he got older too. „Don’t say it like that Dad“, you giggled a little, guessing how your father felt and you hugged his arm in comfort.

„I just don’t like seeing you grow up“, he grumbled kissed your temple. You sat in silence for a few moments, before you decided to share your worries with him. „I’m not sure he likes me too“, you said and your father shook his head with a smile. „From what Neteyam has told me, he definitely does“, your dad chuckled. „What did he tell you?“, you frowned, suspicious of your brothers interpretation of the last months.

„Aonung never bullied you right? And Neteyam told me he always stuck close to you during lessons, being patient with you while scolding your brothers for the same thing“, your dad grinned as he remembered the annoyed face on his oldest son. „And he fought his friend in your defense didn’t he?“, he smiled down at you and you looked away with a blush.

„Yeah he did“, you admitted with a coy smile, but before you two could continue your conversation, it was interrupted by Neteyam dragging Aonung towards you two. „Tell them what you told me“, he pushed Aonung forward and what he admitted next - with a guilty look in his eyes and avoiding your gaze completely - shattered all hope you had gathered previously.

—————————

„Lo’ak!“, you called out in relief and hugged your twin tightly. You were so incredibly glad that he was alright, and you were still absolutely devastated that Aonung did this. Your father pulled you aside and then stopped Lo’ak from going after Aonung, who was standing next to his father. „Let’s have a look at you“, your Dad gave your twin the once over to make sure he was alright, but Lo’ak didn’t really care, his eyes still on the guilty looking Aonung.

„He’s fine, he’s fine“, your father told the others, you know he was trying to play this down to keep the peace, „just a few scratches.“ Your mother joined the crowd and you know she was concerned, but she was still scolding your twin. „I pray for the strength that I will not pluck the eyeballs out of my youngest son“, she hissed and you felt really bad for Lo’ak, this wasn’t even his fault!

„No! My son knows better than to take him outside the reef“, Tonowari spoke with a disappointed and firm voice, pushing his son down to one knee authoritatively. You almost felt bad for Aonung, but you were really angry with him yourself. „The blame his his“, you took in the words and took ahold of your mothers arm for comfort.

„Okay, let’s go“, your Dad wanted to leave this behind as fast as possible, but Lo’ak stopped him, and now you were praying for the strength not to pluck his eyeballs out. „No. This is not Aonungs fault. This was my idea“, you looked just as unbelieving as Aonung, „Aonung tried to talk me out of it, really. I’m sorry.“

„Come on“, your dad was a little firmer now and Lo’ak finally moved. „I got this“, your father reassured Tonowari and he pulled up Aonung, while you and your mother followed your father. You could hear him getting scolded, but you were too far away already.

„Dad, you told me to make friends with these people, that’s all I was trying to-“, your brother wanted to defend himself, but your father interrupted him. „I don’t want to hear it.“, he looked several disappointed. „Dad…“, your twin tried again. „You brought shame to this family“, you winced and your ears layed flat when your father said these words, and you could see Lo’ak was holding it together - like he always was.

„Can I go now?“, your twin asked in defeat and your father frowned. „Any more trouble, I jerk a knot in your tail. You read me?“ „Yes sir.“, your dad nodded and your brother was off, Neteyam getting a scolding too. Your father was way too hard on them since the sky people returned.

————————

You gave your twin a little time to cool down, before going out to search for him. He was sitting on the beach alone, fiddling with a shell and only looking up when he felt you sit next to him. „You okay?“, you quietly asked, eventhough you knew the answer. „Yeah“, he just said and you sighed, leaning your head against his arm.

„You know Dad didn’t mean it, he’s just worried about you and about us getting thrown out or something“, you whispered and you heard him huff in annoyance. „Whatever“, he tried to play it cool, but you felt his arm pulling you closer by your shoulder. „For what it’s worth, I don’t think you brought shame to our family, I know this wasn’t your idea anyway“, you rolled your eyes when you remembered how he took the blame.

„They said they would take me hunting“, he opened up about what really happened, „I know we shouldn’t go outside the reef, but I thought if I went with them we could finally leave this all behind and be friends or something. But when I turned around they were suddenly gone.“ Your tail was tucked around your waist and you frowned with empathy. Your brother just wanted to make friends and was basically left for death.

„I’m sorry Lo’ak“, you squeezed his arm in comfort, and he just sighed, looking up at the nightsky. „I met someone out there, a Tulkun“, he started to smile and you were glad. „Really? But Tsireya told me they didn’t return yet“, you wondered. „He was all alone and he saved me from an akula“, your breath hitched as you thought about the danger your twin was in.

„Thank Eywa he was there“, you voice cracked a little and Lo’ak looked down at you in worry. „Hey, hey don’t worry I’m still alive am I not“, he kissed your temple softly and you hit his chest playfully. „You skxawng“, you smiled slightly. „You have to meet him“, Lo’ak grinned and you nodded in agreement. „I’d love to“, you told him, glad that he was in a better mood already.

———————

You helped your mother with preparing dinner the next day, your sibling being out with the others and you knew Lo’ak wanted to tell them about the Tulkun. You didn’t go because you weren’t ready to face Aonung yet, instead opting to hide in the marui.

After a while of silently cutting vegetables and fruit, your mother told you to go outside and enjoy the sun, because she was almost done anyway, so you decided to collect a few shells. Your mind was thinking over the situation with Aonung constantly, your feelings for him were still as strong as ever and the kiss replayed in your mind constantly but you were also still shocked that he could be so mean.

Calling your siblings freaks was a different level of bullying than honestly endangering your twins life and making him think they could be friends before leaving him alone. Your chest felt constricted when you thought of the way Lo’ak must’ve felt. You knew Lo’ak and the others had basically made peace with Ao’nung - he was allegedly nice to them now, his other friends forgotten, but you still couldn’t bring yourself to forgive him. Could you be with someone like that? Assuming he wanted to be with you, you still weren’t convinced the kiss wasn’t a prank too.

You had just spotted a pretty blue shell and bend down to pick it up, when you were interrupted by the Na‘vi you really wanted to avoid the most calling your name. „Leave me alone Aonung“, you stood up straight again, the shell long forgotten, and didn’t even look at him before walking further down the beach. „(Y/N)! Wait, please!“, he sounded desperate and you weren’t quick enough, so he grabbed your wrist and pulled you around to meet his gaze.

Aonung hated the way you looked at him, he hated himself for what he had done and he was praying to Eywa you could forgive him one last time. He didn’t even know why he did that to your twin, he had panicked after he kissed you and ran back to his stupid friends - wanting to prove himself in their eyes after feeling guilty for kissing you.

He was so dumb, he was scared he fucked it all up and that that one kiss was all that he would ever get from you, his friends were long forgotten after the reality check he received yesterday. It really didn’t matter what everyone thought. „What do you want“, you asked and the hurt look in your eyes made him feel like the biggest skxawng on the moon. It was crushing him.

„I’m so sorry (Y/N), I don’t really have an explanation, but believe me I regret what I did so bad“, he started apologizing and you looked away, trying to hold in your tears, „I just- I panicked after I…kissed you and did something really stupid and I really am so sorry.“ „It wasn’t stupid Aonung, it was dangerous and it was so…mean“, your voice was trembling and you tried to pull your arm out of his hold, but he wouldn’t let you.

„I know, I know“, he sighed, his head tilting down and a frown on his face, „I promise I will never do anything like that again, Eywa I will never stop being sorry for this, I can’t lose you (Y/N), please can you forgive me?“ You wanted to believe him, you really did. „I’ve forgiven you for everything you’ve done to my siblings before Aonung, but this? I can’t- I don’t think I can trust you anymore“, you whispered the last part but he heard you as if you yelled right into his ear, „I don’t even know if you were serious when you…kissed me.“

He felt like he was punched square in the face, his ears folded against his head and his heart cracking slightly. Was he really losing you? Before he even really had you? „Of course I was serious, (Y/N) I know I fucked up but I have never and will never mess with you like that, I have had feelings for you since you landed here all those months ago, and eventhough I tried to fight them I can’t. You make me feel like you really see me, the real me not the one I was trying to be. And I’m sorry for making you doubt me. I really want to be with you, if you can forgive me. I see you, your gentle nature, the way you always make sure everyone’s alright and watch out for your family and I love our differences - your five fingers and your cute tail, everything. Please“, he took a deep breath, „please forgive me (Y/N).“ He felt a heavy weight lift off his shoulders, his forehead pressed against yours and your eyes locked onto his.

„Aonung“, you were speechless, your heart was hammering in your chest and you felt so warm and fuzzy. But you still weren’t sure about all this. „I…I see you“, you answered honestly, because you did, you couldn’t deny it, „but I need some time, okay? I can’t just…forget this and trust you again.“ He looked like you hit him in the face and your heart ached at the thought of hurting his feelings, but you had to protect your own.

He understood where you were coming from, but that didn’t stop it from hurting, eventhough you said you saw him. „Yeah, of course. I promise I’ll do anything to make you trust me again yawne“, he vowed to himself he wouldn’t rest until you were his mate, no matter what it took. Your heart skipped a beat at the loving name he called you and you managed to nod, before pulling yourself out of the tall Na‘vis grip and quickly fleeing the scene before your tears started to fall.

———————

The battle of three brothers rock was over three weeks ago, and you were still almost crying when you thought about how you nearly lost your oldest brother. He was only able to be saved because of Norm and Max, their skypeople technology stopping Neteyam from bleeding out. And it has also been three weeks since Aonung started courting you, like really really seriously. He gifted you selfmade jewelry, went hunting for your family and brought you the biggest catch and he really, really tried to spend time with you. You weren’t wearing his bracelet and necklace yet, not wanting to give him false hope if it didn’t work out and you could see it hurt him.

You had been successful at avoiding him the last weeks though, always fleeing into the forest or taking your Ilu to go diving somewhere, anything to delay the inevitable conversation you would face when he managed to corner you. You hated the disappointed look everytime he saw you slip away again, you felt so bad but you just couldn’t bring yourself to accept his advances yet. Not because you didn’t trust him again, he really proved himself - he was so sweet with little Tuk and grew close to your other siblings too, never bullying them again.

But now that his intentions became serious, you panicked. If you would mate with him, you would be the next Tsahìk of his clan. Would his parents ever approve of this match? By Eywa, would the Metkayina even tolerate a foreigner as their Tsahìk? And did you even have what it takes to be one after all? You weren’t outgoing, of course you were caring and you were a decent healer, but when you looked at Ronal you had to admit you would never be like that.

But you still loved Aonung, you were sure. And the thought of anyone else being your mate made you panick just the same. Why did he have to be the next Olo’eyktan? Silently sighing you pushed your chopped vegetables in the big bowl and your mother cleared her throat. Uh, oh, she looked like she wanted to breach a serious topic. Oh no.

„Ma‘ite, don’t you think you’ve held out the poor boy enough? He’s so obviously in love with you, and I can see you love him too“, your mother peeled the fruit in her hand without looking away from you. You blushed, if even your mother felt bad for him, he must really be sad. „I do love him“, you were speaking so quietly Neytiri almost didn’t catch it. „What it is then? Tell me, Mhm?“, she urged you to finally spill what’s going on inside your mind and you folded.

„I’m just…I’m worried you know“, you started and put the knife down, you couldn’t concentrate anyway, „if I accept him I’ll be the next Tsahìk sa’nok, I’m not sure I’m even remotely suitable for that…considering Tonowari and Ronal would even approve the match, and I don’t even want to think about the clans opinion on a foreign Tsahìk.“ There, you admitted your worries out loud. And you felt a little better about it already.

Your mother was silent for a moment before getting up and sitting down next to you. „Love, don’t talk about yourself like that. You would be the perfect fit. You are one of the best healers I know and Ronal would teach you, they would be snumìna to not accept you. And from what I’ve seen the people here adore you, especially the children and elders“, she hugged you close and kissed your temple softly. (stupid)

„You need to speak to him ma‘ite“, she smiled down at you but she also looked a little strict about it. You sighed and pulled away a little, going back to preparing dinner. „I will, I’ll do it…tomorrow“, you had no intention of doing that and she knew it too.

————————

You really couldn’t catch a break, as soon as you had left the marui the next morning you were cornered by your brothers and Tsireya. You could guess what they wanted. „(Y/N) don’t you think you can forgive him? He’s been groveling at your feet for weeks sis“, Lo’ak was - as always - the first and most insensitive to start the conversation. You were glad Tsireya hit him over the head for it.

„What he means is, that Aonung is miserable. I really have never seen my brother like that, please free us of this despair“, Tsireya looked at you with her big eyes and you almost caved, they reminded you so much of Aonungs. „I will, I will, I’m busy right now, but I’ll do it later“, you forced a smile on your face. You pushed past them quickly and in your attempt of a quick escape you collided with a strong chest.

„I’m so sorry“, you gasped and your heart plummeted when you looked into Aonungs face. This was the first time you’ve seen him up close since that night he confessed and you had to admit - though he was still incredibly handsome - he didn’t look to good. He had dark circles under his eyes, a few scratches on his cheek and shoulder that were untreated and the spark in his eyes was dimmed down. You were sure you didn’t look much better, you missed him dearly but it was your own fault after all.

Eywa you wanted to cry, you weren’t ready for this and this was too sudden. „(Y/N)“, his voice sounded rough and he started to raise his hand as if to touch you and that made you snap out of your frozen state. „I’m sorry“, you pressed out in a whisper before quickly slipping past him and vanishing between the maruis. You didn’t miss the way he flinched and the way his ears layed flat against his head. You wished you weren’t such a coward, another reason why you wouldn’t be fit for being Tsahìk.

———————

You were avoiding everyone now, all of them - the whole bunch! - was pestering you about Aonung, as if you didn’t feel bad enough already. You were sitting in your family’s marui, your mother had thankfully thrown everyone out because she knew it wouldn’t help to pressure you, and you were gently holding the bracelet and necklace Aonung had gifted you, an ankle bracelet had been added to that today.

But you knew you really couldn’t avoid this any longer, the hurt you felt from being away from him for so long and the guilt you felt from hurting him was by far overpowering all your insecurities and worries by now. You were just gathering the courage to put on the jewelry and seek him out. What gave you the final push was a scowling Ronal that was suddenly standing in your home.

You felt like prey being cornered by a predator when she stalked over to where you were sitting, firmly joining you on the ground, her pregnant belly sitting on top of her thighs. „Tsahìk“, you inclined your head and gestured I see you, glad you didn’t completely forget your manners. „How long do you plan on torturing my son?“, she looked so scary and frightening like that, and you shrunk back a little.

„I didn’t mean to“, you whispered clutching the jewelry tightly for comfort. „Then what is your reason?“, she demanded, „Why won’t you accept him? It would be a good match.“ You were surprised she thought so. „You…you think so?“, your voice was quiet and the frown lightened a little when she saw how insecure you were.

She wasn’t angry with you per se, at least not seriously, she knew her son wasn’t innocent in all of this but she was still worrying about her eldest. She could see he tried so so hard for you, coming back shattered every day you didn’t at least talk to him. But she liked you, she saw that you were a great healer, caring for her people and your gentle nature fit perfectly with her sons hard and rough one and she was concerned about your worries too. „What is it child?“, she cocked her head a little and penetrated you with that intense gaze, you couldn’t lie to her you knew that much.

„I’m just…I was worried you and Tonowari wouldn’t approve of it. And what about the clan? Im still a foreigner after all. Do you even think…I mean I’m not even sure I am fit to be Tsahìk…“, Ronal had to admit she was a bit shocked by your dark thoughts. „You and your family are Metkayina. You are the daughter of Totuk Makto (Y/N) and you are an overly talented healer, your mother told me you were taught by the Tsahìk of your clan. The clan loves you aswell, you are caring and gentle with the children, helping everyone that needs it. And most importantly, my son is absolutely in love with you“, she gave your shoulder an encouraging squeeze, your heart unbelievably happy that she quenched all of your worries just like that. You should’ve probably talked to her sooner.

„Thank you Ronal“, you grabbed her forearm carefully in gratitude, a rare smile on her face. „And now put on that jewelry and free my son from his misery“, she got up and pulled you with her, ushering you out the door once she had helped your secure everything, „we will start lessons soon!“ Eywa, this was really going to be it. Hopefully Aonung wasn’t fed up with your behavior yet.

————————

It was past eclipse already when you found him. Ronal had given you a general direction, but he was nestled between a few rocks, mending fishing nets in silence and it had taken you a while to find him. He seemed deep in thought when you reluctantly approached him, your heart hammering in your chest, on one hand you were nervous and on the other you were so in love with him. „Aonung“, you spoke up when you were standing a few meters next to him, the ocean breezing ruffling your hair slightly.

He froze when he heard your voice. Was he that desperate that he started hallucinating? You couldn’t really be here, right? When he heard someone shuffle closer to him in the sand, he finally looked up and nearly let out a pathetic whimper when you were really standing in front of him. Please Eywa, don’t let this be the part where you reject him.

The past weeks had worn him down unbelievably. At first he was so motivated to win you over, and he still kept that up, but with every day that he saw you basically run away from him, his heart cracked a little more. Did you really think he was that bad? „(Y/N)“, his voice sounded raw, not having been used much today. He tried to avoid the others, they always looked at him so pitifully and he hated that. He hated how weak he felt without you.

You swallowed down the lump in your throat and hesitantly sat down next to him. Now was the moment you had to be brave. „I’m sorry Aonung“, you started, not really knowing where to go from there. You had it all planned out in your head, but in front of him with his eyes looking at you so hopefully it was all gone.

With your words his eyes turned sorrowful, his head hanging low and you could hear him take a shaky breath. „Please, don’t say it, I-I can’t…“, he paused and his fists clenched tightly. You were confused now. „If you reject me make it quick please“, he whispered, not looking up and you felt your heart break at the sight. Eywa, you hated yourself for doing this to him.

„No! No, Aonung I’m not rejecting you“, you panicked a little, grabbing his biceps and forearm firmly continuing your rambling, „I was apologizing for not facing this earlier, I didn’t mean to make you wait so long I just…I was worried“, you paused a little and he was looking at you again, „but your mother made me realize I was being silly.“

„What does that mean? Do you forgive me?“, Aonung was still reluctant to hope you wanted to seriously be his mate, but he couldn’t help the way his heart was mending itself a little already, your hands on him helping tremendously. He watched your ears move nervously and your tail wrapped around your thigh in comfort, the blush on your cheek making him choke. You were so beautiful, he missed seeing you up close and he needed to fight the urge to touch you again. Suddenly he noticed you were wearing his gifts and his heartbeat and hope skyrocketed. He couldn’t wait until everyone saw you wearing them, preferably when you agreed to be his.

„Of course I forgive you! I actually forgave you about two weeks ago, and I hope you can forgive me for being such a coward and avoiding you for so long“, your cheeks were burning, you normally never were this forward, but you knew you had to make this right. You moved even closer to him, your knees touching his thigh and you were a little relieved when his hand moved to your cheek.

„Always, for you I would wait forever (Y/N)“, he smiled shyly and it was weird to see the strong warrior like this, but you couldn’t help the smile that made its way onto your own face. Before you could lose your courage, you move one hand to his cheek, the skin a little rougher than yours, and the way he leaned into it gave you the last push to finally kiss him.

His breath hitched when you pressed you soft lips to his. This was worth all the weeks of uncertainty and heartbreak before, to finally hold you in his arms and having you kiss him was making his heart whole again and his life worth living. His skin prickled pleasantly, his hands gripping your waist and pulling you into his lap, the net he was mending long forgotten.

You held onto his neck when he moved you and were so relieved he reciprocated your kiss. How could you have ever thought about any other life than one by his side. You pulled back to breathe - you couldn’t hold your breath as long as he could after all - and giggled a little when he chased your lips. „(Y/N)“, he looked at you heavy-lidded, your stomach clenching with an unfamiliar feeling.

„Mhm“, you were distracted by the freckles that were glowing on his face, tracing them with your finger softly, a lazy smile forming on his lips. „Does that mean you accept me as your mate?“, his heart was fluttering, his stomach in a nervous knot still worried you wouldn’t be sure. „I would love to be your mate Aonung, Oel ngati kameie“, you pressed your forehead to his, and the smile on his was making your stomach all warm. „Oel ngati kameie“, he grinned and you were so, so relieved the spark was back in his pretty eyes.

He pulled you back in for another kiss, he couldn’t believe he finally had you, all of you. But what he still wanted to know was what you talked to his mother about and what obviously held you back the past two weeks if you had already forgiven him back then. „(Y/N)?“, he asked between kisses and you just hummed, completely lost in his embrace and affection, the way his strong arms held you close made you feel like you’ve never felt before.

„What did you talk to my mother about?“, he almost regretted the question when you pulled back with a coy smile, your freckles glowing even brighter in embarrassment. „It was just…the thing holding me back from accepting was uhm…I was scared I wouldn’t be fit to be your Tsahìk“, you mumbled, a little embarrassed to lay your insecurities out in the open, but he deserved to know, „and I thought your parents and the clan wouldn’t accept me anyway.“

He was stunned into silence for a moment, how could his perfect, gentle and caring love think she wasn’t enough? „I hope you realized that that’s bullshit“, he basically growled at the way you doubted yourself, „you’re perfect yawne, I couldn’t even think of anyone else, if it’s not you, it’s no one. You’re a gifted healer, always caring for everyone and Eywa, I love you so so much tanhì please, never doubt yourself okay? And if you do, always talk to me, never shut me out again“, he was so caring and genuine you pressed a short kiss to his lips appreciatively, „promise me.“

„I promise Aonung, I will never shut you out again“, your voice was soft and his ears moved happily. He grinned blissfully and couldn’t resist your soft and slightly swollen lips anymore. This kiss was a little more passionate, his tongue gently stroking your lips before you opened them and hummed contently when his tongue found yours. His taste made you fall into him even more, and the way he kissed you made some new feelings arouse in your body.

He pulled back a little and you almost protested, but his lips wandered down to your neck and you felt like you were in heaven. Suddenly he stood up with you in his arms, a yelp leaving your mouth and you held on tightly. „Where are we going tìyawn?“, you were completely at his mercy. The loving name made him groan and he kissed your lips again.

„I’m taking you to the Cove of the Ancestors to mate with you, I can’t wait anymore I need to make you mine (Y/N)“, he said between kissing you and maneuvering you onto his Ilu that he had called. „Please make me yours Aonung“, you whispered and it sent his instincts into overdrive. His perfect, pretty, small and soft mate asking him to take her was almost too much.

He got on behind you, holding you close to his chest, immediately departing. „Eywa, I can’t wait to be your mate, you’re going to my perfect Tsahìk“, he groaned into your neck and you shivered at his possessive tone. When he felt you lean into him in submission, something more primal awakened in him. „Can’t wait to make you swell with our child“, he growled into you ear, both of them twitching adorably, and he only urged his Ilu to go faster. He thanked Eywa for giving him such a perfect mate.

i look at you wondering where your mind is at; you’re the first choice in my heart always

I Look At You Wondering Where Your Mind Is At; Youre The First Choice In My Heart Always
I Look At You Wondering Where Your Mind Is At; Youre The First Choice In My Heart Always

bb6 | being selected as a celebrity captain along side your brothers for the nhl all stars games was a situation you never thought of. leading up to the games, you made jack and quinn promise that brock would be the first pick. but after a small fight the morning of the games, you decide otherwise.

a/n this was fun to write and i love brock so much so if you guys want more bb6, please send some requests!! i’ll write a more smutty part two at the request of you guys :)

There were many things you loved that you had to give up due to your brother’s successful hockey careers. Your parents were already stressed out with three boys who all loved hockey, but you added stress on top of that. All your life, you never really enjoyed playing hockey. You played one year, just to prove to your mom you didn’t enjoy it. Ellen took the news with a heavy heart, but decided to give you options of what to pursue next. That’s when the entire Hughes family pinpointed your special talent. It wasn’t hockey, or volleyball, or golf even. It was singing.

After the realization, Ellen quickly found the best talent coach in Michigan for you. Moira, your singing coach, helped you develop the skills necessary for being the next big pop star. Fast forward to now, 20 years old, and you were jumping the charts. After opening on the Era’s tour for Taylor Swift, then the release of your first album Emails I Can’t Send, you were the next big thing. The media loved it all, they ate the news for breakfast.

Every single Hughes child was successful. Ellen and Jim got tons of recognition for raising successful children.

Currently, you resided in Vancouver with your older brother Quinn. Throughout the past years of living with him, you grew to adore his teammate Brock. What started as a friendship between two people who would confide in each other during tough times, blossomed into the dream healthy romantic relationship.

When you received the invitation to be a celebrity coach for the NHL All Stars game, you quickly accepted under one circumstance. That you’d coach alongside your brothers. Of course when the news was released, everyone went wild. On top of that, you got to join one of your close friends Tate as a coach. Tate had reached out one drunken night, asking for either your brother or Brock to fight Cole during a Canucks vs. Blue Jackets game. Since then, your friendship with her was as thick as thieves.

The morning of the All Stars draft had been going smoothly. You made Quinn and Jack to promise to pick Brock first, and they listened. You knew of their planning schemes with some of the other coaches, practically planning the draft before it happened.

You sat on the hotel bed, shoving cereal into your mouth. Brock was showering, getting prepared for the red carpet he had to attend before the draft. He came out, dressed in black pants and a white sweater. You furrowed your eyebrows at him, a curious look forming.

“What happened to your other outfit?” You asked, setting the cereal down on the bed side table. Brock quickly looked up at you, then looked back in the mirror. “Decided not to wear it.” Brock nonchalantly answered.

“Oh?”

“Don’t be like that, doll. It’s not anything crazy. Just figured I’d look more professional.” Brock explained, walking to sit on the bed. You scooted further away from him, a glare settling on your face. “So your first outfit wasn’t professional?” You asked, eyebrows raised.

“Why are you making it a big deal?” Brock’s voice came across aggressive, causing you to scoff. “Because it was your idea? And I was excited to see you wear it.” You stated, quickly getting off the bed.

Brock watched as you gathered your makeup bag and other things needed to get ready for the entire day. You started to head towards the door when you heard his voice again. “Where are you going?”

Your hand clasped the door handle, pulling to door open. “To my brother’s room. I don’t want to deal with you or this right now. Just know you upset me and I’m angry.” You stated, leaving the room quickly.

Quinn and Olivia’s room was a few doors down and you were convinced you’d enjoy being around them more than Brock right now. You knocked loudly, hearing some shuffling before Quinn opened the door. Before he got a chance to speak, you shoved past him, setting your things down.

“What are you doing?” Quinn asked, shutting the door behind him. “Or do I even want to know?”

“Brock made me upset and I don’t want to be around him. I figured Olivia would enjoy having a friend to get ready with.” You answered, looking around for her. The bathroom door quickly opened, Olivia standing in a robe with curlers in her hair. “Y/N!” Olivia smiled.

“Hi Olivia, Brock made me mad. Now I’m here.” You greeted her, a smile on your face. Olivia gasped, crossing her arms. “What did he do?” Olivia questioned. You glanced up at Quinn, who was definitely more curious than Olivia.

“He changed his outfit, so now he isn’t wearing his special shirt.” You stated, shrugging. Olivia’s eyes widened, a scoff falling from her lips. “You mean the shirt he paid like $80 for? The shirt that has your face on it? The one he specifically bought for this?” Questions quickly fell from Olivia’s mouth as disbelief spilled through her tone.

“I’m going to Jack’s. You guys have fun.” Quinn left the room, hearing enough from the story. “Yes that shirt! He said he wanted to be more professional.” You exclaimed, a sad look forming on your face.

“What an asshole!”

You and Olivia finished getting ready, but you had to be at the Scotia Bank Area sooner than her since you were a coach. When you arrived, you were immediately swarmed and overwhelmed by the girls wanting pictures and autographs. You tried your best to speak to everyone and at least hold a conversation with them. Your agent, Thalia, stayed close by. She ensured you were making good time. For one moment she stepped away for a phone call.

“They want you for interviews now, sweet heart.” Thalia informed, ushering you forward. You were led to a room filled with reporters, players, the other celebrity coaches and captains. Once you were spotted by Tate, she quickly ran over to you.

“Oh my gosh! You look so good.” Tate gushed, pulling you into a hug. You smiled, quickly reciprocating the gesture. “Thank you, you look great yourself.” You replied, pulling away.

“I was surprised when Brock was brought back here without you. Are you guys okay?” Tate asked, her voice quiet as reporters were currently interviewing Auston, Morgan, and Justin.

“Got in an argument this morning, so I’m not speaking to him.” You shrugged, ignoring his stares from across the room. “Guess he should be reminded that even though the draft is planned, I can still have a little fun.” You added, a devious smirk on your face.

“You are evil. I love it.” Tate giggled, pinching your shoulder softly. “Oops, gotta go, it’s my turn.” Tate waved, walking over to Cale and Nate. You moved over to your brothers and Elias.

“Pst. Can we wait till after we draft the last Goalie to pick Brock?” You whispered, the plan already forming in your head. Quinn, already knowing of the argument, rolled his eyes. “They got in an argument over his shirt.” Quinn quickly explained.

Elias had a confused look on his face, but let out a sigh. “I guess, but don’t you think that’s mean?” He asked, his eyebrows pinched together. “Mean? Sure, but I could be writing a song about him so what’s a little harmless fun?” You answered.

All four boys stared at you, then looked at each other. “If you don’t do it, I’m going to tell mom.” You spoke harshly, staring directly at your brothers. “You know how upset she gets when her brothers don’t listen to her only little princess,”

“Fine, fine. He will go after the goalies. Just don’t tell mom.” Quinn shook his head, slightly annoyed at his sister’s antics. “She’s got a point. Shouldn’t we be sticking up for our sister?” Jack agreed, gesturing towards you.

The rest of the interviews went well, except for when a reporter requested for you to do an interview with Brock. The interaction was tense, only short answers given from the both of you. You were sure the clips would quickly be on Twitter from your fan base, but oh well.

I Look At You Wondering Where Your Mind Is At; Youre The First Choice In My Heart Always

The draft started quicker than ever, the Hughes team getting the chance to pick the first player. You already told Brock that he was the intended first pick, but after deliberating with your brothers and Elias, Nikita Kucherov was going to be your first selection. You requested to be the person to announce it, just to see the look on Brock’s face.

“Team Hughes, are you ready for your first pick?” Jamie asked, looking at the group of four. Everyone nodded, agreeing on their final selection. You took a small step forward, a smile on your face as some fans cheered. “We chose Nikita Kucherov from the Tampa Bay Lightening,” You announced, eyes quickly locking to Brock.

Brock rolled his eyes, running a hand down his face. J.T. Miller nudged him, a curious look on his face. You shook Nikita’s hand, letting him go grab his jersey.

Quinn ended up picking most of his team, along with Brady Tkachuk, Jesper Bratt, and Cam Talbot. After a commercial break, the choice was back to the Hughes Team. You took a step forward, waiting for Jamie to give you the go.

“I guess, we are picking Brock Boeser. Even though he didn’t wear his shirt with my face on it, then was mean to me.” You scrunched your face, watching as Brock skated up while shaking his head.

You held your hand over your microphone as he pulled you into a hug. “You are in trouble, doll.” Brock mumbled in your ear, then promptly skated off to receive his jersey. You had a small smirk on your face, clapping as he received his jersey.

I Look At You Wondering Where Your Mind Is At; Youre The First Choice In My Heart Always

The rest of the event went smoothly, thankfully. Now you were pilled into Uber’s that were driving you to the bar that Auston Matthews rented out for the night. You were squished in between Brock and Elias, uncomfortably squirming in the seat at some of the potholes in the road.

Brock’s arm hung loosely behind your seat, his hand occasionally tugging at loose strands of your hair. To which you’d return a nudge at his side, and he would always react with a low chuckle.

“Scoot over, I know you are uncomfortable.” Brock leaned over to whisper in your ear. Jack was blasting music loudly in the Uber so it wasn’t hard for Brock’s voice to get drowned out by anyone but you.

You glared at Brock, but still scooted over to sit in his lap. “You still mad at me?” Brock continued to speak quietly, his hand squeezing at your exposed thigh.

You nodded, continuing the fun ignoring game you liked to play when you were mad. Brock hated it, despised it actually. Yet, you still did it because Brock would always find a pleasuring new way to deal with your attitude.

“Come on, don’t act like I don’t know what you did. I’m sure you loved convincing your captains to switch the draft order, all over a silly argument.” Brock spoke, tugging at another strand in your hair.

You looked at him in confusion, wondering who snitched to him. “You think Pettersson would keep it from me?” Brock now had an amused expression on his face.

Thankfully the conversation was put on pause as you arrived to the bar. Brock tapped your ass as you pushed open the door. Tonight, your plan was to continue to be angry at Brock, just to catch a reaction out of him. And boy, would it be a fun night.

hi!! can i just possibly request a quick blurb about stella and her brothers cuddling?? the plot would be something like this!!

stella’s on her period and at the moment all she wants to do is cuddle, so she goes from room to room rounding her brothers up and bringing them back to her room for a impromptu sleepover!! and they all have just missed each other during the season!! so they don’t do the fake complaining siblings do when you come in to their room (or in her case bring them to her room) and they all just cuddle all night like they used to do when they were little☹️☹️

ps.. i would think stella’s periods would be HELL mine are (and i’m anemic) it’s just like the extra blood leaving your body even though it’s supposed to?? it’s just actual hell. i get SO dizzy and i throw up and the cramps are the WORST (and for the cake on the top!!) i get SUPER light sensitive🍾🍾🎉🎉🎊🎊 (everybody clap!!) so i just feel like i the worst hangover of my life dude

and the reason i’m humbly requesting this blurb is because i’m on mine rn😭😭 also IM SO SORRY if the period thing is tmi..

Stella huffed in annoyance for what seemed like the hundredth time in the last five minutes, she sat up from laying in her bed and twisted her body to fix her pillows again. She just couldn't get comfortable, and God was it frustrating to keep on moving when she was having terrible cramps. But to be honest her being uncomfy isn't the full reason for her being frustrated. She was alone at home with her siblings, and instead of them spending time together, they were all spread out around the house doing their own thing.

The more she thought about it, the grumpier she got.

Stella decided she had enough of being alone, she grabbed her remote and paused the Christmas movie she was watching. She flung her thick blanket off her sweatpants covered legs (the sweatpants that she stole from Rutger) and got out of her warm bed. She slipped on her favorite grinch slippers and stomped her way out of her room and down the hallway to the closest room to her, Quinn's.

Luckily his door was already cracked, and Stella pushed it fully open with her hand, standing still in the doorway, her hands at her sides. Quinn’s head snaps up from his phone and towards his sister at the sudden sound. He opens his mouth to ask if she's alright, but he quickly closes it when he notices the grumpy pout on her lips. Stella stares at Quinn and speaks in a freakishly calm tone “My room now please.”

“Uhh alright” Quinn agreed in a confused tone, he got out of his bed and followed his little sister out of his room. His eyes widening at the sound of her slippers stomping against the floor. Jack, who opened his door, flinches at the sight of Stella standing right in front of him, not expecting to see her. Before Jack could say anything, Stella is grabbing his arm and pulling him with her. Jack just lets her pull him along to her room, looking behind at Quinn for some context on what's going on, but he just receives a shrug from the eldest Hughes sibling.

“Sit down” Stella mumbles tiredly pushing Jack to sit on the edge of her bed, she glances at Quinn with her grumpy eyes, and he moves to sit on her bed, his back leaning against her headboard his arms crossed over his chest, waiting for stella to explain what's going on. Jack looks up at stella waiting for an explanation but instead he gets a quick “Stay here.”

“What's up with her?” Jack turns around to ask Quinn once Stella waddles out of the room, moving up on the bed so he is leaning against the headboard, his legs sprawled out. Quinn looks too jack and responds casually “Its stella, we’ll never know.”

Stella moves into the living room, her eyes going to Luke, who was sitting on the couch with his back to her, playing Mario Kart. He was muttering to himself as he played, Stella having to stop herself from laughing at the sight. Stella moves to stand next to the tv, Luke looks away from the tv for a second to look at her for a moment before looking back to his game. “Hey stell”

“Lukey, come with me please” Stella sweetly asks Luke, taking a new approach to get him in her room. Last time she interrupted Luke at gaming, he tackled her to the couch (gently) and sat on her. Stella really didn't want to experience that again, especially with her cramps. She hoped that her sweet tone would convince him to come, but of course she was wrong. “Bro I'm in the middle of a game.”

“Bro, I don't care” Stella quickly snaps back, doing her best to intimidate his tone. Luke looked away from the screen to give her a ‘really’ look. But Stella stood her ground, crossing her arms over her chest and staring silently at him with her grumpy frown. Luke sighs and turns off the game, knowing there was no way he was gonna win this battle, not when she was extra emotional.

Stella smiles triumphantly when Luke shuts off the TV and stands up to follow her, Luke rolling his eyes at his little sister's antics. Luke follows behind stella and asks "What are we doin”

“We're having a sleepover, Quinn and jack just don't know it yet” Stella giggles, she knew she was being a ‘little’ dramatic, but she also didn't care. She didn't know how long she would be with all of her brothers until they had to leave. Luke grins, some of his best memories are him and his siblings having sleepovers. “Hell yeah! But I'm picking the movie.”

“Fine, but I'm not watching Christmas story again” Stella agrees causing Luke to laugh, ever since stella was little she has always had a strong hatred for that movie, and Luke being the annoying brother he is, likes to choose that as his choice for movie night.

“She got you too huh” Quinn jokes once the two youngest join them in the room. Stella rolls her eyes and slips off her slippers while Luke sets his phone on her side table next to Jacks, not before shutting it off, not wanting to get bothered by his notifications. “So, you gonna tell us why you kidnapped us?” Jack questions with an unnecessary amount of sass.

“We're having a sleepover, and I won't take no for an answer” stella remarked with the same amount of sass. Jack's offended look on his face from Stella's sass turns to a look of relief, he was worried Stella gathered them all to tell them bad news or something. Jack lets out a heavy breath and dramatically rests his hand over his heart “You could have just said that. Fuck i thought you were going to tell us your pregnant or somethin!”

Quinn grimaces at the thought, and Jack looks disgusted as he says the last part. Luke rolls his eyes at Jack's stupidity and scoffs “She's literally on her period dumbass” Quinn sighs, not liking the turn the conversation was going to. Jack ignores Luke's words and gives Stella a worried look “you're not, right?”

“I’m not pregnant jack!” Stella shouts with annoyed huff, purposefully digging her knees into Jack's legs when she climbs over him to lay between him and Quinn. Jack winces and brings his leg up to his chest, rubbing the skin to soothe the pain. Luke laughs loudly and pushes Jack a little to the side so there was room for him to lay, causing Jack to loudly complain but nonetheless scoot over. Quinn lets out a tired sigh and wraps his arm around Stella and pulls her closer so there was more room for the other two.

After a few more minutes the four siblings got situated in Stella's big bed, the blanket over all of them, poor luke had his feet sticking out of the end of the blanket since jack was being stingy and pulled the blanket all the way up to his shoulders. Stella yawned and rested her head on Quinn's chest, his hand that was resting on her arm came up to play with her hair. Jack, who was comfortably resting in the middle, had Luke resting his head on his shoulder. All of their legs somehow intertwined together just like how it was when they were little.

Luke finally decided on grown ups, well more like Jack grabbed the remote and pressed on it. The siblings watched the movie in silence, with the occasional laugh, the siblings just enjoying being all together. Stella didn't want to get sappy, but she couldn't help but too “I really missed this” Quinn smiled and held his sister tighter, he understands how Stella feels the most, both of them being away from their siblings while Luke and Jack were still together.

“I missed this too” Jack mumbled with a sniffle, he really did miss spending time with all his siblings, he loved having Luke with him, but it wasn't the same as having them all together. Quinn hummed in agreement while Luke sat up a little, staring at Jack with a teasing smile “Are you crying?” Jack glares at Luke and nudges him hard with his elbow, only causing Luke to laugh louder. “Fuck off luke”

“Don’t tell luke to fuck off” Quinn snaps at jack causing him to look at his older brother in disbelief. Stella groans in annoyance and grabs the remote off Jack's lap to pause the movie before saying tiredly “Can we all stop saying fuck and just enjoy the moment” Quinn doesn't look away from jack and jack finally caves in with a sigh, turning to luke to apologize. Stella presses play on the movie with a happy smile.

They continued to watch the movie, all of them laughing in unison at the same moments and talking about their favorite parts. It was like how it was when they were little, somehow all of them had moved closer together. Stella had a permanent smile as she watched the movie, finding so much comfort from being so close to her brothers, she felt so much better.

Quinn and Stella felt themselves slowly drifting off to sleep, their eyes fluttering close.  Jack was munching on the candy Stella had on her side table, talking to Luke in hushed whispers so they wouldn't disturb the sleepy duo. Luke adjusts his position and frowns “Why is my ass so warm.”

“Because you're sitting on her heating pad dumbass,” Jack laughs, and Stella, who is almost asleep, couldn't help but join Jack in laughter. Quinn's eyes flutter open, and he clears his throat in confusion, his voice tired “What happened” Luke scowls at Jack as he starts to laugh louder, tossing his head back. Stella giggles “Just Luke being luke”

Luke pulls the pillow out from Jack's head and uses his long arm to reach over Jack and smack Stella right in the head with the pillow. Jack winces when his head smacks against the headboard and Stella gasps in shock at the hit. Luke didn't realize he had also hit Quinn in the face and soon he had three annoyed siblings staring him down. Luke laughs nervously “Uhh”

And before they knew it, they broke out into a full pillow fight, Stella teaming up with Luke after getting a good hit on him. The next 10 minutes are filled with laughter and Luke's screams as Jack and Quinn target him. The exhausted siblings soon lay down and before the next movie reached the half point, they were all already asleep. Tangled into Stella's bed, Luke and Stella sleep peacefully between their older brothers.

Another sleepover they wouldn't forget.

Hi darling! Here’s my Tsu’tey request💕

Okay so I was thinking about human reader (she’s like a scientist, friend of jake or sm) and Tsu’tey is whipped but he also has the emotional range of a rock (just on the outside, he’s actually a big softy) like he’s trying to court her but she doesn’t notice bc he never says anything just like shoves food her way, or drops flowers on her lap and then bolts. He’s showing off his hunting skills and she’s like “cool, what a nice guy”. And she’s saying all the nice things he does to Jake, and he’s like “girl, he’s courting you🤨” and whatever else you like✨

I just thought that since he was promised to Neytiri, he probably never courted anyone before and he always has a poker face so reader would be clueless (but she likes him so it’s ok)

I tried not to make it too specific so sorry if I did, and I’ve never really requested anything so I hope this is ok😅

Hi Darling! Heres My Tsutey Request

Hi Darling! Heres My Tsutey Request

𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘: tsu'tey has never been very upfront with feelings, causing you to misinterpret his advances as nothing more than kindness 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: tsu'tey x fem!human reader + some jake x reader (platonic) 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒: hunting, weapons, fluff 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓: 1.1k

Hi Darling! Heres My Tsutey Request

you sat outside the lab, soaking up the afternoon sun as you listened intently to the sounds of the nearby forest. you took in a deep breath, the smell of the rain soaked grass filling your nose and offering you pure solace. but, your brows soon furrowed as the sun seemingly disappeared. you looked up to see jake in his avatar, towering over you with a fangy grin.

'move! you're blocking the sun!' you laughed, motioning wildly for him to get out of your way. he rolled his eyes, taking a seat next to you and bumping your shoulder with his body.

'yeah, yeah. nice to see you too.' you had been spending a lot of time with the omatikaya clan as of recent, and it was nice; it meant you got to spend more time with jake. the two of you had come to pandora together and had developed a really strong friendship. jake pulled out wrapping of yovo fruit from his pouch, handing it to you with a smile.

'how's neytiri?' you asked, lifting up your mask quickly to pop a piece of fruit into your mouth. jake sat back on his elbows, looking to the clear sky.

'she's good.' he spoke with a fondness in his voice. 'she was askin' after you. she wants you join us for dinner at the clan tonight.'

'sounds good.' you agreed. 'but, i might have to bring my own food. last time i tried some yerik… it wasn't pretty.' you shuddered at the thought.

'yeah, takes some gettin' used to. would be nice to have you there, though.' jake chuckled before looking at you from the corner of his eye. 'tsu'tey was askin' after you too.'

'oh, he's cool. he showed me how to shoot an arrow yesterday.' this caught jakes attention; causing him to spring up and furrow his brows.

'he taught you? like… voluntarily?' you shrugged, not understanding the big deal.

'yeah… not everyone is as unlikable as you. people actually like spending time with me.' you jeered.

'shut up.' jake pushed you slightly, forgetting how much bigger he was than you and sending you tumbling towards the ground with a thud. 'shit! sorry.' he sheepishly smiled, helping you up.

'...right into the mud!' takuk laughed, telling the story of how jake had fared on his recent pa'li ride.

'ha, ha. funny.' he mocked, throwing a piece of fruit towards his friend.

'it is nice to have you here.' neytiri whispered towards you as the boys continued to jest.

'thanks for the invite.' you beamed. 'it can get pretty lonely at the lab.' tsu'tey approached the group, taking a seat next to you and pushing a plate of food towards you. 'oh, thank you... but i can't eat this. it's not good for the human stomach.' you awkwardly smiled. tsu'tey took a bite of his own food.

'it is safe for humans. i checked.' he reassured, not making eye contact.

'you checked? with who?' jake asked, looking around the hometree to the lack of experts on human food. tsu'tey sent him an irritated look.

'the scientist. the tall one.'

'norm? is he here?' you questioned.

'no. i went to their lab.' jake and neytiri shared a look that was noticed by tsu'tey before he waved his hand to dismiss the gesture. 'it was on my route.'

'thank you.' you smiled, looking down at the delicious looking food on your plate and feeling thankful to be able to eat something other than a pb&j sandwich.

you sat with your legs submerged in the river, looking up to the night sky above you that was adorned with a blanket of stars; the lab only a few paces behind you. you allowed your eyes to flutter shut, basking in the tranquillity of the nocturnal scene. but your heart soon jumped as you felt something fall into your lap; your eyes snapping open as you let out a yelp. you looked down and saw a collection of flowers, tied together with a green string and decorated with small beads. you raised your eyes and were surprised to see tsu'tey standing above you.

'for you.' he muttered, avoiding your gaze. before you could even open your mouth to thank him, he turned on his heels and disappeared back in the direction of the clan. you smiled softly to yourself. he must have heard you talking with neytiri about how it gets lonely at the lab sometimes.

you stared at the large fwampop that tsu'tey had hunted and dropped off at your doorstep this morning; you knew that it was tsu'tey that had left it by the distinctive arrow still stuck in its side.

'damn. catch that all by yourself?' jake chuckled with crossed arms as he walked towards you, making his daily visit. you placed a hand on your hip, examining the animal.

'nah, tsu'tey brought it here this morning... i'm not quite sure what i'm supposed to do with it.' jakes arms dropped from his chest and his mouth fell slightly open, before his gaze fixated on the glass jar in your other hand containing the small bouquet of flowers.

'did ya'... pick them yourself?' he chuckled awkwardly, gesturing towards the flowers.

'hm?' you questioned, following his gaze. 'oh. nah, tsu'tey dropped these in my lap last night and bolted. i was just on my way to put some river water in the jar.' you shrugged as jake blinked at you wildly. 'what? stop it, you look creepy.' you muttered, making your way down to the river.

'wha- surely you're not that dumb?!' he cried out, trailing closely behind you. you turned to him, raising a brow. 'the guys done research into what food you can eat, he's showing off his hunting skills...' he reached forward and swiped the jar of flowers from you.

'hey!' you shouted, jumping up to try and retrieve the gift.

'he brought you flowers!' he gawked.

'...so?' you questioned as the two of you stared at each other for a moment. then suddenly, it clicked. your mouth fell open as jake nodded madly. 'oh my god.'

'how the hell did it take you this long to realize?!' he bellowed, lifting the flowers out of the jar and smacking you over the head with them.

'i dunno! he has the emotional range of a rock, i- i thought he was just being nice!'

'you've got the damn brain of a rock.' jake sighed, shaking his head.
