And what if the world comes crashing down?

Will you follow through your motions?

Will you remember what you thought?

If your soul amounts to nothing

Will you understand the wars you fought?

In that blind respondence

Where it matters so much it hurts

Do you follow through the instincts

Or do you fall into the dirt

Cause your body is still tangible

Your mind still tatters with use

Will you fight against the current

Will you resist the loss of you

I know that desire still shines through you

Like a lighthouse in the fog

But the night keeps growing darker

And your body has long gone

Will your spirit keep on pushing

Will your heart still urge to bleed

Can that love you kept inside you

Ooze through your very being?

Shock your system to its core

Break reality from its tracks

Make a story from the pieces

Put the I’s and You’s next to Me’s

Will it even make a difference?

Or will we simply cease to be
