Sometimes you find stuff in the street you can’t identify once in a while. Like this piece of stuff. I looked at for a while and could not decide what it was. It did not appear to be a piece from a vehicle. So, I going with a piece off an alien spacecraft for now.
How this differential got into this spot is a wonderment to me. It’s next to a dead end road that leads to one house. The hill on the other side has a fairly wide section that would stop it from rolling down into the stream. Best guess it was tossed in about a 1/2 mile upstream and washed down during the previous weeks downpours when I did not walk this path that I normally do since it wasn’t there the previous week.
A Quik Trip match book made it past the guard rail to perch on the edge of the retaining wall. #stuffinthestreet (at Mehlville, Missouri)
