It's time to move over to Google Docs because Tumblr deleted an angst I've been working on since this morning. It's not like I care or anything 🥹

falling asleep in miguel’s car after a day trip together 💟

you’re sitting in the passenger seat, eyes shut and fast asleep as your head rests against the door. the car radio is on at low volume, and miguel keeps his eyes on the road as he’s got his hand on your thigh. after moments of not hearing a word from you, he looks over at you and notices you’re doozing. he leans his head more towards you for a confirmation that you’re actually asleep, until he hears your soft snores. he smiles and takes his hand off of you to turn off the radio, heading back home in silence with the mere background noise of cars driving.

he pulls up to your guys’ place and sees you’re still asleep, but he doesn’t want to wake you up. he decides to take matters into his own hands (literally) and carry you inside. he turns off the engine and opens his car door as he gets out, walking to the other side. he opens yours and puts his arms around you, shifting you against his body as comfortably as possible. he carries you in his arms as he shuts the door with his free hand and walks towards the front door.

once he’s entered inside, he brings you to the bed and lays you down gently, making you unconsciously adjust yourself to the soft mattress. as you lay there he notices you have some left over makeup on your face, so he heads over to your vanity and grabs some makeup wipes. he gently glides it along your face, being careful around your eyes, as he lightly holds your head for stability. he tosses the wipes into the trash, and puts a big blanket over you, tucking you into bed. he sits on the edge of the bed for a second, admiring your beautiful sleeping face, then plants a soft kiss on your cheek. “buenas noches ángel”
