i want to be in a touch pool i NEED to be in a touch pool. i am a skittish touch pool critter who really wants the food in ur hand and i will slowly inch forward and take it and our skin will touch and you will offer more. and i will take it again. and i will let you touch my back because you gave me Food. and i'm becoming such a well socialized little fish.

what do u think are some behaviors and feelings that point someone in the direction of probably being an aquatic therian/otherkin? any u experience u want to share?

It really depends on what environment your species is from but for me, I feel the need to brumate in the winter because I can’t stand cold weather. But that doesn’t apply to all aquatic creatures…

This may sound dumb on paper but this really helped me figure some things out. I started keeping a journal of how the seasons affect me and what’s my relationship with water.

I used the process of elimination to remove aquatic beings from more colder climates because I knew that couldn’t be me. (I was considering orca at the time)

Looking up places you would want to swim helps as well. If you find an image of an environment where you would feel at home, look up what types of critters live there.
