But once in a blue moon she’d find somewhere safe enough that she felt comfortable stripping down to nothing.

Now, in the deceptively small yellow house, she’s safe all the time, but she has a new reason not to sleep naked. Emmet. Out of respect for him—this is the man who had been utterly scandalized the first time she took her glove off, after all—she starts wearing sleepwear. Said sleepwear almost entirely consists of filching his clothes and wearing them over her panties.

Who is basically a big cat and hates getting wet? Neither of them super minds getting wet but Lucy doesn’t like when her hair gets soaked

Who has the super cute umbrella? Obvs Emmet (it has yellow butterflies all over it)

Who showed up with an umbrella and saved the other and who was trapped and unprepared? Usually Lucy cause Emmet rushes out sometimes and forgets to check the weather

Who gets sick from being out in the rain too long? Lucy is more prone and she hates it

Who has the secret recipe for the perfect chicken noodle soup to cure the sniffles? Emmet puts those boyfriend skills to use!

Who yells obscenities at the car that just drove by and splashed them with a huge puddle? Definitely Lucy as Emmet tries desperately to calm her and yells “it’s ok!” after the car

Who hides in the other’s coat? Both :>

Who forces their coat on the other because they forgot it and doesn’t care that they’re getting wet? Almost always Emmet because he insists that Lucy’s hoodie isn’t thick enough and he insists on her taking his jacket

Who grabs the other’s hand and drags them out into the rain because it came on so suddenly and they’re going to get soaked anyway, to dance and laugh and be silly and eventually steal a long kiss? Lucy cause she’s the more impulsive of the two but Emmet loves it cause gosh she’s laughing and he’s having fun with his favorite person in the world!

Who takes the initiative and drags the other home to force dry clothes and hot cocoa on them? They both stumble in together but Emmet is the one that goes straight for the hot cocoa

Who finds the towel to dry the other’s hair? Lucy cause she loves to ruffle Emmet’s fluffy hair
