“That one looks like a kiss,” Jake stated pointing to a cloud. The two of you were laying side by side backs pressed against the grass, eyes turned towards the sky.

“A kiss?” You repeated. You tilted your head to get a better look as if by doing so you would understand what he meant. “Like the candy?”

“No silly,” he responded, “a kiss.” He was smiling at you, the slightly goofy type of smile, and part of you knew that he was probably messing with you. Still, maybe it did look like a kiss, maybe you were just confused.

“like a kiss kiss?”

He laughed, “yeah, like a kiss kiss.”

You sat up eyes focused on the cloud in question. “How does that even work?” You titled your head yet again though you were starting to realize no matter what angle you looked at it it still wouldn’t make sense. “What does a kiss even look like?”

Jake smiled, “Want me to show you?”

“I guess that might help,” you turned to face him “are you going to draw it in the air or something—” you started to ask.

But, there were no air diagrams. Instead, you felt two hands cup your face and in a moments notice Jake’s lips were pressed against yours, gentle and sweet, gone before you even realized they were there.

You froze, trying to compose yourself, but the way Jake was looking at you only made you feel more flustered. “I know” you stumbled with your words, “I know what a kiss is.” You pointed to the cloud “but please explain to me how that in any way resembles it.”

Jake only chuckled in response. “Do you need me to show you again?”

“No,” you scoffed plucking at the grass beneath you. You really did believed that somehow the cloud looked like a kiss and you were just missing it; now you couldn’t help but feel a little silly. Still, you supposed it wasn’t all bad. Your voice came as a soft but audible mumble as if you were debating whether you wanted to be heard or not, “...Maybe”

Beomgyu: We’re being victimized. [flips his hair] I feel unsafe. Soobin: [stops in front of Taehyun] Taehyun. You’re the sensible one. Who was it? Taehyun: [dramatically] You accuse us of wrongdoing yet you lack even the slightest hint of evidence. For shame. Beomgyu: Shoddy detective work is what it is. Kai: What would Bang pd-nim say? Beomgyu: You know. It really breaks my heart that you just ASSUME that one of us did it. Really shows who you trust, huh, hyung? God forbid you’d interrogate Yeonjun hyung. Soobin: assu- ASSUME? In this family there are THREE people who would EVER even THINK to tie someone up, cover them in glitter and put them on top of the christmas tree. [points viciously at the slightly worse-for-wear pinetree] AND IT’S YOU Beomgyu: [studying his nails] sounds like profiling to me Taehyun: [arms crossed] circumstantial at best Kai: [grinning] got any FACTS to corroborate that accusation hyung? Soobin: I- Yeonjun: [from the doorway; his clothes, hair and skin covered in glitter] It was Kai and Beomgyu. Though I don’t doubt that Taehyun assisted in planning it. Taehyun, Kai and Beomgyu: … Beomgyu: OBJECTION Namjoon: … Hoseok: [trying to stifle his laughter] Seokjin: [to Namjoon] We’re not having any more children. Five is enough.
