"bro, are you coming?" you yelled, your eyes focused on the tv screen as you were looking for the movie beomgyu wanted to watch.

"excuse me?” beomgyu’s frowning face popped out of the kitchen as he grabbed the two mugs on the counter and started walking towards the couch in the living room.

“it is baby for you, not bro."

you chuckled as you took the mug with choco your boyfriend handed you.

"i cant believe we're actually using the cringy couple mugs kai gave us,” you giggled.

"what i still can’t believe even after almost two years of dating you, is that you prefer cold choco over hot choco," beomgyu murmured, shaking his head.

you laughed as you lightly smacked him.

"cold choco for the win.”

"no, you're insane. did you find the movie?"

"yup,” you nodded and as you took a sip from the choco your face lit up immediately

"oh my god!"

beomgyu almost spilled his hot choco at your sudden outburst.

“what?!"

"you put mini marshmallows in it!" you exclaimed happily as you looked at your beautiful boyfriend.

the candles and small yellow lights in your cozy apartment, illuminated beomgyu’s face and soft features and even after four years of knowing him and two years of dating him, you'd never get over how absolutely drop dead gorgeous beomgyu really was.

"i swear you're going to get me killed one day," he mumbled as he took a sip of his choco, a small smile coloring his face as he couldn't stop his heart from beating faster after seeing how cute you looked in those soft baby pink pajamas with your warm eyes sparkling over something as simple as mini marsh-mellows.

"they taste so good,” you hummed, "come on, take a sip.” you held out the mug towards your boyfriend who was sitting smushed against you.

"i'd rather not. plus you have a chocolate mustache," he chuckled before cupping your face and wiping the chocolate off with his thumb.

you held the mug higher, now almost pressing the rim of it against his lips making beomgyu let out a dramatic sigh and finally take a sip.

"cold choco is the worst."

"you're lying.”

"yeah i am, it's not that bad.”

"told you so,” you spoke, satisfied.

"look, this is my favorite part!" beomgyu spoke excitedly as he pointed at the tv screen.

his head rested comfortably against your chest as you were softly running your hand through his hair. he loved it whenever you'd do that. it would always calm him down.

you smiled, now it being your turn to coo over how adorable your boyfriend was.

you laughed as something funny happened in the movie, making beomgyu’s face light up proudly. he loved it whenever you liked something he liked or was passionate about.

to be honest you were always his biggest supporter. even when you didn't care about something he would show you, you'd never let him know as you would always try to match his energy.

he did the same for you.

maybe that was why your relationship was so strong.

and of course because of the mutual love the two of you held for mcdonald's.

as the credits of the movie rolled down you let out a yawn. “you were right, baby, that was a good movie."

"right!" he exclaimed happily as he sat up straight and grabbed the now empty mugs from the table as you picked up the empty pack of cookies.

the two of you walked to the kitchen of your apartment as you listened to beomgyu talk about a certain part of the movie while throwing the empty packs away and cleaning the kitchen a little.

eventually beomgyu fell silent as he looked at you with a warm heart.

he was so lucky to have you. he realized that every day. still on moments like these, when he would stay at your appartement and do something as simple as watching a movie together, it would hit him even harder how lucky he really was.

even with his busy and chaotic life as an idol, with you he could always feel normal. not the choi beomgyu from tomorrow x together, but just gyu. you never failed to make him feel calm and warm inside. you truly were his home and he knew he'd forever hold onto his home.

"you're staring,” you smiled as you leaned against the counter.

he smiled as well, snapping out of his daze.

"i love looking at things i’m in love with.”

you laughed, rolling your eyes, "since when did you get so cheesy?”

he gasped, pretending to be hurt as he put a hand on his chest. "me? cheesy? never. crazy, madly and deeply in love with you? maybe.”

you let out another laugh before shaking your head, “you’re being way too cheesy tonight.”

you tilted your head, "but im in love with you, too," you then added with a smile, your cheeks glowing.

he walked up to you, "am i seeing that right? are your cheeks turning red? did i actually make the y/n blush?" he teased, a smile tugging on his lips

you smacked his chest, rolling your eyes again, "shut up.”

"don't roll your eyes too much, they'll fall out of their sockets.”

of course you had to respond by rolling your eyes again, making beomgyu laugh.

he placed his hands on the counter, trapping you in between his arms as he leaned into you, his nose brushing against yours.

you closed your eyes, not being able to fight the smile from growing bigger on your face as you felt the warmth of his body radiate against yours.

"if kai would only see us now, he'd probably have a heart attack,” you giggled.

kai sometimes didn't believe the two of you were actually dating. he'd always say that it looked as if you two were just friends instead of lovers because of the way you two acted towards each other. him thinking this way had different reasons. one of them was the fact that beomgyu and you often made fun of each other, it was something the two of you had always done, even before you started dating. another example was probably that you two always greeted each other with a handshake.

two weeks ago

“how are they even dating," taehyun murmured as he watched beomgyu and you mock each other by repeating each other's words in a whiny tone.

"that's what i'm saying! i swear they have the weirdest relationship ever. i bet they don't even kiss," kai whisper-yelled before taking a sip from his water bottle as he went to stand beside taehyun.

"oh believe me, they do. i once accidentally saw it when i walked into the practice room after forgetting my bag,” soobin shuddered as he joined the convo of the two younger boys, making them burst into laughter.

beomgyu laughed at your remark before nodding, "yeah he probably would."

you sighed, wrapping your arms around his neck, "you're really pretty, did you know that?"

now it were his cheeks which were turning rosy red as he bit his lower lip.

"you're prettier though."

"i know.”

"i swear, i hate you so much," beomgyu murmured making a high pitched laugh escape from your throat.

"bro, you literally just said you loved me."

"i said i was in love with you, not that i loved you. plus if you call me bro one more time i will in fact kill you.”

"so you don't love me?” you closed your eyes for a second, pretending to be heartbroken.

at first beomgyu wanted to respond with a teasing remark but as he looked at you, his scanning your features and taking all your beauty in, he couldn’t help but give you an honest reply.

beomgyu softly smiled, "nah, i love you more than anything in this world to be honest."

you bit your lip, trying to prevent yourself from smiling from ear to ear at his sudden honest confession.

it obviously wasn’t the first time he told you he loved you, but hearing it always made you feel like a teenager who had just been asked out by her crush.

you cupped beomgyu’s face and looked in his sparkling dark eyes before closing the small gap between the two of you by placing your lips on his.

he immediately responded by removing his hands from the counter and placing them on the small of your waist, pulling you closer to him if that was even possible.

he hummed against your lips as you softly stroked his cheek with you right hand, making him smile into the kiss.

he tasted like hot choco and the cookies you had eaten the whole pack of while watching the movie.

beomgyu and you had a bad habit of not being able to save anything for later as you would always accidentally finish the whole pack of snacks the first few minutes into a movie.

after a few more seconds he pulled away, his face still close to yours.

"i'm so happy,” he softly smiled, his heart beating fast because of the proximity between you two.

“with you i know i'll always be happy."

He was Johnny Suh’s best friend—stuck at the hip since they were preschoolers. You had seen him around the house when you went to play with Johnny’s twin sister, Jia, but you never paid him any attention. At the age of eleven, you and Jia could care less about boys; you just wanted to see who could braid each other’s hair the fastest and see if you could fit into her mom’s evening gowns without her noticing. (Spoiler: you couldn’t.)

Since you lived down the street, all you had to do was walk a few minutes to get to Jia’s house. Mark, on the other hand, always rode his bike. Your mother didn’t allow you to go over on weekdays, so you practically lived at Jia’s house on the weekends. Now, though, it was summer vacation, so you could do whatever you liked. Like it was any other Saturday morning, you walked over to Jia’s in the summer heat.

Today, however, no one answered the door.

i know we’re all sad and crying about the news. i still don’t know whether it’s truly a hiatus now or not, cos hybe is being fishy, but what i know is that those men deserve rest like no one else. they kept creating for 10 years – they kept pushing themselves when there was nothing else to say anymore. god, i wish bts the best time relaxing and creating their own stuff – tae said we’re gonna love this version of them as well and honestly… yes, no doubt. i can’t wait for this chapter and to see what they can do alone <3

jk assured us “this is not the last time. this is never gonna be”. yet to come said “you and i, the best moment is yet to come”. and for youth claimed “you’re my best friend, i’ll be with you for the rest of my life”.
