Imagine you inherited ten million dollars and you wanted to build a commune . You consider yourself to be a law abiding citizen, and you really do want to do everything exactly by the book --- I mean you are willing to follow every rule and regulation. Think they're ever gonna grant you a permit to build that shit? There is no chance in hell my friend, because a bunch of filthy hippies moving into the neighbourhood is almost guaranteed to lower the surrounding property values, and the local council would rather vote to have your throat slit in public before they ever agreed to let that happen.

if the condition of the children of gaza doesn't move you, i don't know what will. there is no school this year. there was no school last year either. no clean water or healthy food. no medicines for when they hurt themselves. no toys to play with. no way for them to come out of this genocide unscathed. it's with a heavy heart that i've realized that childhood in gaza is an empty promise.
my friend alaa [ @alaakh998 ] lives in gaza. she has two little kids aged 4 and 6. i cannot help but think about them. how are they doing? what lies in their future? are they okay? I've come to the realization that they wont be safe unless they're able to evacuate from gaza.
the rafah crossing is closed as of now. alaa is fundraising in hopes that she can collect enough money to address her immediate needs and eventually evacuate when the crossing opens. she needs to buy a tent and medicine and supplies and food.

Over 50 IOF airstrikes targeted various areas in the northern Gaza Strip since this afternoon and IOF quadcopters are opening fire on Palestinian homes east of Jabalia refugee camp.
Journalist Hossam Shabat stated that he was targeted in his vehicle, despite clearly marked PRESS symbols on it. A water cart surrounded by dozens of people was bombed.
Journalist Anas Al-Sharif: "It feels like the early days of the war, with intense belts of fire and a large escalation in 'israeli' airstrikes, while 'israeli' artillery and helicopters continue to fire on citizens' homes in the northern Gaza Strip."
The north has been subjected to intense siege, starvation, and deprivation of aid for months. The IOF has repeatedly invaded parts of it in small pockets, such as Zaytoun and Beit Lahia and claimed to dismantle the resistance there. Today, it appears to plan to re-enter, preempting its invasion with massacres against innocent people.
Amid ongoing strikes in Northern Gaza, Civil Defense teams report that they are unable to deal with the large amount of destruction caused by the IOF targeting residential homes. Rescue efforts are severely obstructed by the occupation's continuous bombardment and the lack of essential heavy equipment, leaving many trapped beneath rubble.
