Moose: "Are... are you saying... in this meeting with 80% of people who use these tools are sitting... that we do not have to follow the firm guidelines if we do not like them?

Person giving the presentation: "Yeah, I think that would ok."

Why? Because he thinks marking the output of LLM's so we can keep track of what is LLM generated and be more suspicious of it was an unreasonable amount of work...

To avoid that work he just removed any and all restrictions of use of these tools for anything from customer contact and documentation to coding and security.

What... the fuck... is wrong with everyone???

Also a fun bonus fact.

It also makes Large Language Models like Co-pilot freak out.

Anything about killing, children, master, slaves or other naughty words triggers crude detectors that tries to ban these words.

Meaning that not only will the bot often refuse to talk about normal software things but most likely this is also a bias in its training data

Meaning that these LLM' will try to avoid recommending code that have these naughty words in subtle and not so subtle ways.

Misconceptions

Just saw an ad for fucking Kellog's cornflakes wherein a shirtless blindfolded man tied to a bed is like "Wait.. are you... eating??" and it pans across the bed to reveal that his partner is, indeed, too distracted to have sex with him bc she is chowing down on corn flakes. Now I've been caught up in wondering whether:

a) John Harvey Kellog would despise this ad; the mere proximity of bondage-play to his brand name and beloved anti-porn flakes is unforgivable

b) John Harvey Kellog would enjoy this ad, because it shows a young woman forsaking the temptations of the flesh in favour of eating a wholesome and nourishing bowl of cornflakes
