i want my feet to be covered in mud

for moss to get stuck to my sweater

for dirt to be under my nails

for ferns to brush my cheeks as a spring breeze blows through the undergrowth

and newly sprung dandelions are blown away

give me

moss

or give me death

we are all united, united, over squishy green lumps that are ‘plants’ 💚🌿
