There's something so disabling about a disability, I can't explain it

happy pride to the marketing team tom hardy held at gunpoint to get this gay ass tagline

Inspired by THIS PHOTO of Ella and Walton, posted by @emmcarstairs
find a man who cherishes you enough to cut off the dick of the man who has scorned you in order to use it to tenderly make love to you after proposing with a peach ring so that you do not have to die a virgin and can instead live on forever with him while he regularly brings flowers to your gravesite and tends to your undead body's electrocution wounds as he reads percy bysshe shelley's poetry to you. do NOT settle for less.
this is kinda spoilers but not really but one of my favorite parts of lisa frankenstein was lisa telling the creature "youve never even driven a car you probably rode one of those bikes with the one big wheel" and him making a face that conveys he was absolutely a penny farthing guy

Lisa and Creature as Couple Goals
Part 1
people are constantly trying to deny disabled people the privilege of their own anger. we're forced into situations we don't want to be in have to rely on people or institutions we don't want to, have to constantly project the idea that we're thankful, hopeful, trying our best... it's ridiculous. when a disabled person is angry about something people flock to tell them that they shouldn't feel this emotion. "doctors are trying to help you", "be grateful you even have what you do", "you're the one making yourself miserable". at the end of the day it just goes to show that they don't think disabled people deserve even the meagre amount that we are given, so that's why they think we have no right to be angry
Don’t tell me “go big or go home” because I WILL go home
The embarrassing parts of a disability never stop being embarrassing. The visible parts don't become invisible. Some days you will notice the stares, the looks of confusion or disgust or intrigue, and you'll look inward and feel those same thoughts returning.
It's okay. You are allowed to be upset still, you can be upset and embarrassed for the rest of your life. You'll get used to it most days, but just cuz "it's been 20 years" or "i've been like this my whole life" doesn't make how you feel suddenly invalid.
You can mourn not being able to walk or run forever. You can mourn not being able to socially connect forever. You can mourn being pain-free, medication-free, disability-free. You don't have to "get used to it" or "get over it" so harshly. You can always cry a little, it's okay.
It's okay to be disabled, and it's okay to feel like it's not. You are loved no matter what ♡♡♡

Stardew Valley mod spoilers (?)

So I recently started playing Stardew Valley again, especially with the recent update and whatnot. I went on Nexus mods and there, I stumbled upon this amazing mod "The Last Smoluanu" by lemurkat
Legit I fell in love with the story, since the monster characters have always been my favorites. It is executed wonderfully and the timeline develops naturally. I was COMPELLED to do a few art pieces of it, and since I'm already posting something Stardew related might as well publish some other stuff soon.
you have to stay alive. you're going to be such a beautiful middle aged freak. young freaks will see you in the street and know that things can be okay.
