a/n i want a yunho </3

yunho loved brownies. he said they reminded him of you. quite the personified form of something you never understood.

"you know how brownies are crispy on the outside and all sweet and soft on the inside" he spoke up, between occupying himself by eating chocolate chips, one chip at a time.

you hummed, trying to measure the right amount of flour in the recipe, as he continued, "that's how you are, scary on the outside, but actually, quite sweet"

you looked at him with a questionable expression, him giggling while getting off the counter. he came up to where you were, contended at how the mixture was getting clumpy. you were met with yunho booping the tip of your nose with the batter, chuckling while saying. "oh, aren't you just a-dough-rable"

"yun, this isn't dough" you giggled.

"oh" he paused, "the same thing, give or take"

you smiled at yourself, the fond memories of when you first met yunho coming back. the whole reason you were drawn to the clumsy boy with fluffy hair.

"hi, y/n, I'm yunho" he stuttered. you could see a group of boys behind him, whispering and staring intently at him. the boy was- well, obviously, looked as if he were to kill you.

"hi, yunho" he loved the way his name rolled of your tongue, he felt as if he could listen to your voice forever, as cheesy as it sounded.

he was mesmerized at how your eyes, had this shine to it, and your smile, oh he was head over heels in love with you. he finally stopped being a wimp to himself, and gathered up the courage to finally get your number.

"m-may i have your number? i mean if you don't mind- you don't have to- like-"

"sure, I don't mind," you said, sweetly, making stomach do flips. he gave you. his phone to type in your number, and watching you save it as 'y/n :)'

"i''ll text you, today" he spoke, a goofy smile taking over his face. waving awkwardly.

from then, you hit it off with, not being able to go an hour without texting him. and after a week or so, he asked you out for a coffee date, in the cutest way you could imagine.

Hello. I have a request for Ateez reaction to their s/o sneaking love letters in their bag for them to read while they are on tour. Like the reader has written them beforehand, places it in their bag/suitcase before they leave for tour. Ateez finds the letters while they are unpacking, when they open it, it smells like their s/o's perfume, it has photos of their s/o inside it, and a handwritten letter. I know I've written a lot details, but I hope it helps. Take the time you need. Oh and remember to take breaks in between! ☺💕

I changed the scenario a bit for each member so it wasn’t repetitive, but I hope it’s still okay.

Hongjoong

There is a week left before he leaves for tour and that’s why today you decided to start writing the letters that you were going to sneak into his suitcase.

You just wanted to write cute little notes for him to read when he misses you or when he needs some motivation during his tour.

…Tomorrow was the day that they leave for tour, so now you had to put the letters in his suitcase. You were able to do that very easily since he was at his studio for the whole day. When he came home, the two of you spent the whole evening together and tried to enjoy every single moment.

In the morning, you woke up earlier and made some breakfast for the two of you. When the breakfast was ready, you woke your boyfriend up and both of you had breakfast together.

After that, it was time for him to go so you just hugged him one last time and before he left he gave you a sweet kiss. You were sad that he had to go but at the same time you couldn’t wait for him to open the letters that you left him.

When your boyfriend finally arrived at his first destination, it was time for him to open his suitcase for the first time. As Hongjoong was going through his stuff, he found one of the letters and when he saw that it was written by you, it immediately made him smile. Your letter made him feel happy and comforted because it smelled like your perfume and the words written in it were things that you would say to him to make him feel better when he feels down. Now when he found out about the other letters too, he decided to open one at every place he went.

The next day your boyfriend decided to FaceTime you as he was still in bed because it was too early in the morning but for you it was around noontime.

“Hi princess”

“Hi Joong, I already miss you so much babe”

“Me too, but we’ll go through it and it’s going to be just fine” he said as a wide smile was plastered on his face.

In that moment you noticed that your letter was on the table beside him and you couldn’t stop yourself from smiling at the cute scene.

“I see that you’ve opened my letter…”

“I did and all I can say is thank you… it really helped me and made me feel much better…”

“Aww, of course baby…I wanted you to feel comforted even though we’re so far away from each other” you said and both of you smiled.

“I have to go now princess but I’ll text you and call you later when I can okay?”

“Okay…love you”

“Love you too princess, bye bye” he said and the two of you hung up.

After the call you felt so happy that he liked your letters.

Seonghwa

As tomorrow was the day that he was going on tour, the two of you were extremely sad that you had to be apart from each other for so long. You noticed how he tried his best to spend more time with you before he goes away and you really appreciated it. Seonghwa felt so lucky to have a partner that supported him in everything and even though his job was very hard, you never once complained about anything.

So the last few days he really tried to spend as much time with you as possible.

Tonight the two of you were cuddled up in bed and you heard him sniffling so you thought that he got sick or something but when you looked up at him, you finally realised that he’s been crying.

“Aww, Hwa…baby, don’t cry…”

“I’m sorry…I-I just really don’t want to leave you alone here…”

“Hey, it’s going to be fine and I’m going to be fine… it’s just going to be for a couple of months and after we’ll be here together again and also I’ve made sure that you’ll be fine when you go on tour so I’m pretty calm about this…” you said and that made him smile as you wiped his tears away.

“…But what do you mean, you’ve made sure that I’ll be fine?”

“You’ll find out sooner or later…” you said mysteriously as you pecked his cheek and snuggled up close to his chest showing him that you want to go to sleep now. Your boyfriend chuckled at your cute actions and decided to go to sleep too.

In the morning both of you woke up early and you helped him get ready to go. When he left the apartment, you felt a bit lonely but just told yourself that everything is going to be okay.

When Seonghwa arrived at the first location for his tour, he entered his hotel room and decided to unpack his bags. As he did that he found little things that reminded him of you and that comforted him. On each little item there was a cute note written for him. Now he realised what you really meant when you said that you’ve made sure that he’s going to be fine. This cute gesture almost made him tear up from how happy he is to have you in his life. You were just so special for him and the fact that you cared so much about the little details like these, just confirmed that you’re the one for him.

Yunho

When you finished work, you headed towards your apartment but on the way there you got a call from Hongjoong.

“Y/n?”

“Oh hi Joong, what’s up?”

“Are you able to come to the dorms right now?”

“Well, yeah sure…but why? Is everything okay?”

“Since we’re going on tour tomorrow, Yunho has been acting very distant and sad. He doesn’t talk to us much and seems kind of depressed so I was wondering if you could try and talk to him?”

“Of course I’ll come, I’ll be there in 15 minutes but that’s so weird because when we talk he never acts that way…”

“I assume that he is sad because he won’t be able to see you but maybe if you talk to him, he’ll feel better”

“Yeah…I’ll be there soon so see you…”

“See you y/n…” Hongjoong said and hung up.

After a couple of minutes, you arrived at their dorm and knocked on the front door.

“Hi y/n…”

“Hey Joong… where is Yunho?”

“I think he’s in his room he’s been there for a while…”

“Oh okay, I’ll go check on him then…”

“Okay…” he said and you headed towards your boyfriends room.

You knocked on the door but didn’t get an answer so you just decided to walk in there anyways.

“Yuyu…” you said and saw him get up from the floor where he was sitting seconds ago.

“Babe?! What are you doing here? I thought that I was the one supposed to come later…”

“I know but I wanted to check on you since I don’t think you’ve been in a good mood lately, huh?”

“No, don’t worry…I’m okay”

“I know you’re not and I know that all you need right now is a hug…” you said as you wrapped your arms around his body. The hug actually did help him a lot and he felt much better than before.

“I know you’re sad that you have to leave tomorrow but I’ve taken care of that so you won’t miss me as much as you think…”

“Of course I’ll miss you baby, I already do…so how am I supposed to survive for so long without you”

“I’m still going to be with you just from a distance so stop making me sad and let’s enjoy our last evening together ”

“Okay, I guess you’re right…” he said and both of you spent the rest of the afternoon together and had a great time.

The next day your boyfriend went away for tour early in the morning and he texted you nonstop when he had the chance, which made you very happy. When he needed to get a charger from his bag, he noticed that there was a small bottle of your perfume in that pocket, so he wondered if he took it by mistake but later when he opened his luggage, he found one of your hoodies folded in one of the other pockets as well. That’s when he realised that you’ve put those items in there on purpose so when he misses you he can hug your hoodie and spray it with your perfume. He became super happy and excited that he had your hoodie.

“Wow, how did I get to be with such an angel…” he said to himself as a big smile appeared on his face.

Yeosang

Today you decided to spend the day at Ateez’s dorm as it was their last one before going on tour. You also had to find a way to sneak in the letters that you wrote for your boyfriend, inside his suitcase and that was going to be the hard part since he’s probably not going to leave you alone at all.

When you arrived, you knocked on the door and Mingi opened it.

“Y/n!” he said as he gave you a hug and led you inside. After you entered, you saw that everyone was in the living room so you headed there.

“Sangie!”

“Oh, hi angel” he said as he stood up from the couch and hugged you very tightly.

“Do you want to watch a movie with us?”

“Okay…but actually can I go to your room and put on one of your hoodies so I feel more comfortable?”

“Sure, but you have to give it back after…”

“I’m actually thinking of keeping it so I can hug it at night when you’re not here…”

“Okay then…” he said finally giving up on keeping his hoodie.

Now you’d found the easiest way to sneak in your letters for him. You placed them in the first pocket of his suitcase and then changed into his hoodie so he doesn’t find anything suspicious.

The rest of the day went really fast but you had a good time nonetheless.

In the morning he got ready, said goodbye to you and left with the rest of the members.

When he arrived at the hotel, he opened his suitcase to take out some of his clothes and that’s when he noticed the letters that you had left for him. There was five of them and he decided to open the first one.

It was the first time that he cried because of a letter. It just made him feel so happy as he read through it and the cute pictures that you had left with the letters with you and him, made him remember all of the special memories the two of you have. Right at that moment Seonghwa entered his room and got worried when he saw Yeosang crying.

“Hey, why are you crying? Did something happen?” he asked as he slowly approached your boyfriend.

“No, I just got emotional but everything’s fine…actually everything’s amazing, so don’t worry. Why did you come here anyways?”

“Just to tell you that we’re going to a restaurant for dinner so you should get ready…”

“You could’ve just sent me a text…”

“I know but I just decided to come here anyways” Seonghwa said as he giggled and left the room once again.

San

Your boyfriend had left for tour an hour ago and you were just happy that you managed to pull off the little gift that you had for him. A week ago you decided to buy him a small plushie that you sprayed with your perfume and also wrote him a cute letter to cheer him up while he’s on tour. You managed to put the items inside his bag and now you just waited for his reaction when he finds the stuff, once he arrives at the hotel.

He already missed you so much even though, it has only been a couple of hours so he decided to call you.

“Sanie? Is everything okay love?”

“Yeah, yeah, everything’s fine, I just miss you a lot already…”

“But love, it has only been a couple of hours…”

“I know but still, I miss you and I don’t know what to do…”

“…you know what you should do, you should open your bag…”

“Why?”

“Maybe you’ll find something interesting in there…”

“Bunny, I’m pretty sure that the only thing I’ll find there is my clothes…” he said as he giggled a bit.

“Okay then, I’ll listen to you and I’ll open it…”

“You can call me later Sanie because now I need to go to the store and buy some food, okay?”

“Bye love and don’t forget to look inside your bag…” you said before you hung up.

San immediately did what you suggested and grabbed his bag to open it. When he did, the first thing he saw was the cute bear plushie that you had bought for him and he loved it. As he had it in his hands he could smell your perfume from it which comforted him a lot. After admiring the plushie for a while he noticed the letter and immediately started reading it. Your words made him smile so much that the other members that were around him started laughing at him.

He hugged your plushie and read your letter every single night before he went to bed just thinking that he would be able to see you very soon.

Mingi

Mingi and the rest of the members were just about to leave for tour but your boyfriend didn’t want to and was hugging you tightly like a baby.

“You have to go pup…”

“No, I don’t want to…”

“You do want to, come on, please go… everyone is waiting for you”

“But I’m going to miss you and I’m going to be lonely without you”

“You won’t be lonely, you will be with the other members and with atiny…I also prepared a little surprise for you and it’s in your bag so when you arrive at the hotel you can open it…”

“A surprise? For me?”

“Yes puppy, just for you…so now I’ll give you one last kiss and you really need to get going, okay?”

“Okay…” he said as he pouted and you kissed his pouted lips.

When he finally left, you did feel a bit sad but decided to be strong for him since he’s more emotional than you are.

He couldn’t wait to arrive at the hotel so he can finally open the ‘surprise’ you had prepared for him. That’s all he thought about on the way there.

When he did arrive, he quickly grabbed his luggage and walked up to his room as fast as possible. As he entered, he didn’t even take his shoes off before he opened his bag and saw the envelope that you had cutely decorated. The first thing he noticed about it was that it had your scent and then when he opened it, he took out a letter and a lot of photos that the two of you had taken together that you had decorated with stickers and had also written little messages on the back of every single picture.

The sweet gesture made him feel very emotional but happy at the same time. He looked at all the photos and thought of all the moments that you’ve gone through together, he realised just how important you are to him and the most amazing idea popped into his head.

Your boyfriend decided that after he comes back from tour he is going to propose to you. He talked with the rest of the members about it and they all became super happy for him and told him that they are going to help him with whatever they can so it becomes the perfect proposal.

Wooyoung

Your boyfriend decided to come to your apartment tonight, since it’s the last night with you before he goes on tour. He brought his bags with him so he can meet the rest of the members straight away in the morning.

As he was taking a shower you walked into the bedroom and opened his bag so you could place a little care package surprise for him. Inside the care package you had put a special letter for him, some of his favourite snacks and a photo of the two of you on your two year anniversary date.

When he got out of the shower the two of you cuddled in bed.

“Woo?”

“Yes beautiful…”

“Are you going to miss me while you’re on tour?”

“Miss you? No, why would I miss you… it’s just for a couple of months…”

“Oh, well…just so you know I am going to miss you…” you said as you pouted and turned to the other side.

“Aww, I was just joking beautiful…I am going to miss you, there’s no way I won’t miss you…” he said as he hugged you tightly and giggled at your cuteness.

In the morning it was finally time for him to go, so he gave you a kiss and left to meet up with the rest of the members.

When he arrived at the hotel a couple of hours later, he unpacked his bags and found the care package that you had left for him. Your boyfriend smiled as soon as he noticed it and as he opened it he couldn’t stop giggling from happiness.

He found everything that you had placed inside so meaningful and sweet, especially the letter that made him realise how much he loves you. So after going through the stuff you got him, he decided to call you.

“Beautiful?”

“Hey Woo, what’s up?”

“I saw the package you made for me…”

“Oh, did you like it?”

“…I was kind of expecting more to be honest…”

“What? But Woo, I really tried my best…I’m sorry that it wasn’t enough I guess…” you said kind of disappointed until his next words.

“Sorry, I’m just joking beautiful…”

“Again?! Wooyoung! You scared me…”

“I’m sorry, but the package was amazing… especially the letter. I’m going to read it every single day because it just gives me a lot of motivation so thank you beautiful for all of it…”

“Of course babe, I’m really happy that you liked your present but I hope that next time I don’t fall for your stupid jokes…”you said and he started laughing.

Jongho

Your boyfriend was leaving for tour in a couple of hours so you had to find a way to sneak a little present into his bag before it’s too late.

As you were at the dorms with the rest of the members, Jongho finally decided to go to the shop and that’s when you entered his room and placed the journal that you had made for him inside his bag. It was a journal in which you had glued some pictures of you and him together and had decorated them with stickers and colourful tape. You had also written sweet notes for him on every page.

You knew that he would never tell you that he’s sad right now that he has to leave you here alone or that he will miss you but you knew what he felt without him even mentioning it to you, so right after he came back from the store you just wrapped your hands around him and hugged him tightly for a long time and you knew that it made him feel better.

“Are you feeling better now handsome?”

“Yes, thank you sweetheart. How do you always know what I need?”

“That’s just pure love handsome, pure love” you said as you smiled and led him to the living room where everyone else was.

After some time passed it was time for them to go, so you said goodbye and left.

As your boyfriend was on his way to the first hotel, he opened his bag and that’s when he noticed the journal. He was very confused at first because he didn’t know what it was for, but then he opened the first page and saw your picture together. His eyes became watery just at the sight of you and him. The notes just made him even more emotional, but he decided to stay strong and not cry especially in front of the members. He felt so much happiness just reading through the notes you’ve written and he thought that he wasn’t showing how he felt but when Wooyoung approached him and looked at his face, it was so easy to notice how much he loved you.

“You really love her a lot, don’t you…”

“…huh…what?”

“It’s written all over your face so stop trying to hide it” Wooyoung said and your boyfriend just watched him walk away still in shock that one of his members noticed that he was really in love.

At first Jongho thought that he wouldn’t like showing how he feels about you in front of his members but after the encounter with Wooyoung he actually started to change his mind. So now little by little he started showing more of his feelings about you and every day while he was on tour he showed the journal to the members, that at some point they started to get tired of him.
