All these fabulous versions of @pancakesim’s academia challenge got me thinking about how un-aesthetic my uni experience was! I graduated from an old fancy uni in 2013, just a smidge before the dark academia aesthetic really took off online and I feel very, very cheated.

And Jesminder, bless her angry little soul, so patterned, five-headed and skinny eyebrowed. It’s amazing how different she looks with a few tweaks (mostly around the eyes) and a fringe. I do miss her braids, but this gorgeous set of curly-fringed styles by @simstrouble have been begging to be used and they looked so. good. on her. 

Jes’s wardrobe is a bit of a compromise between what I remember my best friend wearing when she was a young mum-to be and City Living’s insistence that everything must both BUSY and ambiguously ‘cultural’. Comfy silhouettes and flat shoes.

I think in this universe, whatever it is, Jes definitely gives up her mixologist career to paint and be literally the most annoying neighbour in the game full-time.
