okay, for starters let me say that this man is the type to take a looong while to warm up to you, but once he does, it's completely worth it.

dean does get attached, but he completely restrains himself from doing so because he is scared of others getting hurt because of him.

i honestly could write a complete character analysis from season 1 to season 15, been watching the show since i was like... 10 years old, but let's not get into that right now.

he's very gentle with his s/o, literally all the time.

hugs from him are the most comforting and safe hugs you could ever receive, seriously, the man is BIG.

a hug from dean feels like you're in the safest place in the world

dean does everything and anything to keep you out of the hunter life, it's actually completely forbidden to you.

he lets you question the witness when they're playing fbi on a case and do research with sam, but that's mostly it.

dean loves having you around the bunker, you bring a whole new air in the house and break the dullness of the free days that seemed to be repeating themselves on and on.

not big on pda, but behind closed door it's a whole different story

he'll hold your hand and hug you all the time, he just has to touch you in some way

he likes rubbing soft circles on your knuckles and kissing your palms, sometimes putting your hand on his chest

wether it's just an arm wrapped around your waist or a full cuddle, dean just needs to feel you there next to him

talking about cuddles, he would never say no to them. doesn't matter if he's in a bad mood or if he doesn't feel like it, dean can't say no to you.

he literally MELTS when you cup his face in your hands and stroke his cheeks. whenever you do it, he closes his eyes and leans in your touch further, seeking comfort

no matter how big the bed is, dean always ends up laying on top of you with his full weight. in his silly goofy brain, it feels like he's protetcting you, even tho there's nothing there to put you in immediate danger.

because dean has taken the role of protector in your little family, he would never admit that he lets you baby him during times when he doesn't feel that strong.

he adores holding you wrapped in his arms, it makes you feel protected and it makes dean like he has something to hold on to when the world has taken too much from him.

he keeps a picture of you on the dashboard of his baby, he would stick one too his forhead too, but you think that's a bit too much

you give him the silent treatment when he makes you mad or upset. he's always the one to break first and apologise. he hates it when you don't talk to him.

lazy mornings when he's not on a case.

when it comes to chores, he prefers doing it himself (he's a bit of a perfectionist), but you help none the less.

big calloused palms and soft hands

will do skincare with you because he loves how soft and shiny his skin looks after

having a lot of time together, but also space to do your own things.

he buys you stuff from the states he's vising during his cases, even if it's just some candy or something that reminded him of you.

texts and calls you as often as he can when he's away cuz he knows you get worried for the two reckless brothers.

he likes burying his face in your chest after a rough day

"you okay, dean?"

"boobs" comes his muffled voice, his eyes closed as he makes himself comfortable on you

"i'll take that as a no"

he likes seeing you in his clothes, he can't explain why but he just does. he thinks you look cute wearing them

whenever he ends up hurt after a case, you path him up and clean his wounds. he used to do that himself, but ever since he's got you, he lets you do it. you're softer with it and he always gets extra kisses when you do.

dean didn't understand why you liked kissing his scars, but to you, it was showing him that despise all he went through, all that he had done, he was still the most beautiful human in your eyes.

he gets a little baffled when he sees how much you like spending time with him

dean: *literally on the phone talking murder*

he likes having you in his lap, sexually or not, he loves holding you close to him

he carries you in his arms or on his back if you get tired of walking or if you're too sleepy

goes and buys you pads and tampons with no shame

when your period gets too much he never leaves your side, he knows how much you want him next to you in those moments when your moods go off the tracks.

that's actually when it's his turn to baby you. he cuddles with you, makes you your comfort food, watches movies with you and whatever else you feel like doing

insists on picking you up from work and dropping you there every day.

man is so used to being alone that once he gets used to your lovey-dovey nature, he's TOUCH STARVED

isn't really good with words, but he'll show you that he is there or you with hugs and comfort, or he just listens to you talk about what's troubling you. for you, what's important is that he is there to provide you with support and understanding

contrary to how other people describe him, I do believe he's not horny all the time, he also has moments when he just wants to be held

soft and slow lovemaking when he needs to be reminded that he's wanted, accepted and loved.

he never felt so accepted and loved by anyone else, it was like you turned his whole view of himself upside down

on some nights, he would lay his head on your lap while you read out loud to him, he'll be out like a light in a matter of seconds

he's very receptive to how you feel, so when it comes to seggsy time, he picks up on how you want it to happen. soft, slow, hard, fast, man is up for anything

loves praising you, sexually or not

he loves seeing your face light up at those encouraging words, your eyes shine, and your cute smile

kisses your hands, your shoulders, your palms, and your fingers as a sign of affection and devotion

sex with him is so different each time you two get at it, it's either completely railing you until you can't no more, or slow, sentimental sex

amazing at aftercare. runs hot baths, gives you massages, cooks whatever food you'd like, and cuddles with you

doesn't mind the teddy bears you keep in the bed but is slowly trying to make you feel safe enough on your own, to be able to sleep without them

showing each other your favorite songs and vibing to them

he enjoys taking you on late night drives with music playing softly from the radio. you'll lean your head on his shoulder and hug his arm while he's just doing what he likes. driving and holding you close to him.

he peppers kisses from your hands to your elbow, your shoulder and up to your neck until he reaches your lips

you understand his need for control, so you let him take his anger out on you, sexually speaking.

he's so soft around children that it makes you want to give him one of your own.

"i love you" from dean comes from small gestures, lingering kisses and long hungs; also from keeping you safe and protected at all costs
