And then in comes a closeted gay teenager, with an abusive father, in love with his sister's boyfriend who has suffered homophobic bullying his whole life, including a slur from the boy he loves, and was abducted into a hell dimension for a week and later possessed by a Lovecraftian monster that used him to help it murder people and try to destroy the world.

Vecna's gonna have a field day with that minefield of a tortured subconscious.
