“Welcome Back Evie,” A shadowed figure says from the corner of the room.
“Not feeling very welcomed,” I said as I struggled to move in the chair they tied me to.
The figure walks toward me, the light slowly revealing a man with blue eyes and blonde hair, “Well you know the precautions we have to take, last time you effortlessly escaped and...” He pulls out a knife and holds it against my cheek, “We can't let that happen again.”
“Is that supposed to scare me? I know you well enough to know that you won't hurt me, Lucian.”
He presses the knife closer to my cheek, “You don't know anything about me.”
“Really? Then prove me wrong, stab me. Right here, right now.”
