I cannot stop thinking about how Gabriel's "If it happens again, it will seem like it's an institutional problem" in s2e5 can be interpreted also as a way to say the love between an angel and a demon should be considered as an 'institutional problem'. I know that later Metatron clarifies that he is talking about the fall of Supreme Archangel but to me it just seems like a parallel to Gabriel x Beelzebub and Crowely x Aziraphale. It happened once? We can turn accept it and move on, maybe make a good story out of it. It happened again? Now that cannot be accepted. Metatron appears almost immediately and separates Crowley and Aziraphale. And what's Aziraphale's answer? He wants to make a difference. He wants to change the system so that their love should not be considered an 'insitutional problem'.
