    THE BOY WAS ALREADY DYING. one well-placed slash of the baron’s claws,  &  he had collapsed to the floor, the sudden blood loss from his severed main artery too great for him to retain consciousness.  the smell is overwhelming, sweetly metallic, a fragrant pool of deep scarlet that spreads out rapidly beneath his crumpled body.  &  it would be so easy to descend upon him  &  drink, to sate the thirst that’s burning in his throat.  he’s as good as gone,  &  it wasn’t as if carlisle had even killed him.  he could drink,  &  still claim innocence.                          but he can see the blue of the boys eyes as they slip back in his head, staring unfocused up at the ceiling.  &  there is something so familiar about their shade that carlisle can’t bring himself do it, even as the baron screams at him to follow the call of his instincts  &  feed.  ❝ i’m not, ❞  he counters, just as defiant, his voice raised  &  blazing with fury.  ❝ you did this, not me.  i am not like you. ❞      there is nothing carlisle can do to for him now, medically speaking  —  he knows that without even examining the wound.  but while he cannot save this boy’s life, perhaps it is not too late to prevent his death.  &  before he pauses to think through his actions, carlisle drops to his knees in the pool of blood, pushing the torn collar  &  curls matted with red back away from his ruined neck.  ❝ &  i’m not going to just stand here  &  watch him die, ❞  he says, his tone determined now.  this boy had been innocent, had he not ?  he did not deserve to die.  &  as carlisle leans down, he feels his fangs extend enough to pierce the skin just below his jaw, biting down hard at the point where he can feel the pulse still faintly thrumming.

● jamie fraser  —  could be fun with  melisandre  in his asoiaf verse,  or with  miranda  in his caribbean/pirate war verse,  or with  carlisle  when jamie is in carolina maybe ?

● jude varney  —  might be fun for jude to meet either  margaery  or  katiana  during his schooling timeline !

● martha jones  —  she’s a doctor...  carlisle  is a doctor... need i say more ?

● morgana pendragon  —  i just have this feeling that she would be amazing with  howl  somehow some way,  &  he could easily be adapted to her canon.  or maybe  melisandre  would be an interesting addition for when morgana is in her revenge era ?

● rachel kinsley  —  maybe she would be fun with  stede,  &  it could be pretty easy to get them together since she’s a smuggler !

● ruth keegan  —  she should absolutely meet  steve  in her stranger things au, js.
