Well, she’s had her moments, but nobody’s perfect, and parenting definitely isn’t the easiest job out there!

At the end of the day, me and my mom get along well and I love her so much. I wouldn’t change anything!

(If I did have to change anything, maybe I’d like to have not been dropped on my head so much as a child lmao. I once actually got knocked out from falling headfirst into tiles when I was five and stopped breathing. I turned purple but luckily the paramedics saved me or whatever. Then I went to the hospital BUT in the ambulance ride there the paramedic let me watch my little pony on his phone cause they didn’t want me to fall asleep in case I went into a coma lol. I remember being really excited about getting to watch my little pony and not really caring about the whole concussion and near death experience thing lmfao. My mom was having a panic attack over it tho cause she thought she killed me or something lol. Anyways that’s the story of how I got brain damage! :D)

Guys guys okay so about just under five years ago I, (with the help of my brother) came out to my parents as maybe not quite as straight as they thought i'd be.

And today like half an hour ago my mom gave me a back to school gift, (highlighters, but pastel and cat themed I love them so much) but inside the bag there was also this little sticker that says "love is love" and guys i am this close to crying rn

I've been trying to work up the courage to ask her if I can buy myself a rainbow pride flag for my room (for like three years lmao) and I feel like I might actually have a tiny bit of courage to do that now???

(I probably won't lol, I'll wait until I move out for that but still. I dont know. I feel like maybe I have a chance? Maybe she'd say I'm allowed to?)
