Same with me in French- I used to be fluent, but I don’t speak it very much so I basically forgot it all 😭. I can communicate, and be understood, but I am definitely far from having good grammar lol

like, half the time I forget to conjugate my verbs, so I’ll just say something like « je manger le pomme » which would sorta translate to “I (to eat) the apple”. You can understand what I’m trying to say, but it would probably make a fluent French speaker cringe in horror
