            Chan swallowed hard. He was staring at you, his gaze heavy and his parched lips parted in a heavy pant. 

“How can you do this for so long? I’m all tired out!” 

You looked over at him as you removed your water bottle from your mouth, a smirk placing itself on your lips. You threw your arms out and caught his sweaty neck, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. “I’m a pro, remember?” 

Chan licked his lips, throwing his head back. 

“A few more laps, Channie, and then we can go home.” You called, already taking off in a jog around the football field again. 

Chan groaned and ran after you, already regretting suggesting he come to your home for the holidays. He was sure if you guys were back in Korea you would have never suggested a run. There weren’t many places the two of you could go out in public together without getting bombarded by fans. He could’ve been asleep right now. 

The last two laps went far slower than the first few had. Chan was dying, running after your figure like his life depended on it, his feet slipping beneath him on some occasions because his knees were giving out on him.

You had been planning on going a couple more, but Chan was absolutely wrecked, and you suddenly felt bad, making him work hard when he was on vacation. You just knew that if he went back to work having gained a few pounds they would put him on an unhealthy diet. You figured it was better he eat what he wanted and then work it off. And the two of you had just finished a huge dinner with your family. 

“You’re done, baby!” You called to him, as he was still a few meters behind. 

Chan’s head, which had been facing down, concentrating on ever step, snapped up and he sped up, using the last bit of his energy running to you and cheering loudly. You caught him in your arms when he nearly fell face forward next to you, hugging his sweaty body close to yours. You moved the hair stuck to his face and smiled down at him. 

“You made it.” You cheered softly, grabbing the back of his shirt and airing it out for him.

How are you doing, love?

Kind of upset actually. I have a staff infection in my left eye which apparently is called "Pink Eye" and it hurts to blink and my eyes are swollen :( but I am doing better than i have in the past couple years which says a lot. And also, thank you for asking darling, it means a lot to me.
