Hello Everyone And Welcome Back To Another Post By Me, The Mutton Chop Guy!! In This Post, I Give A 2-part

Hello everyone and welcome back to another post by me, The Mutton Chop Guy!! In this post, I give a 2-part episode that covers the genre of manga that I want to exclusively cover, as it doesn't get enough coverage outside of Japan. The first part is the history of Bara and it's evolution into Gei Komi, while the second one covers the current state of Gei Komi and a hopeful Future of this genre if we work together to bring more awareness to this underground niche genre. Have questions not covered in these episodes? Ask away on any of my social media, or just comment!

This makes me so happy to see! It's so humbling for me 😊

As you know we all know, even if there's some flaws. We still love TAS with a passion. Yet, the genre that TAS is heavily based of. Bara ( for those in the west ) or Gei Komi ( The actual term for the genre ) is somehow a niche genre. Even if poular men from modern anime, do have characters following the format.

I loved the genre when I first discover it, sad that these talented artists barley get recognized outside of Japan.

Recently, I found a small YouTube channel that discusses the history of the genre. ( Also, he made a video about TAS. Just mention this to those who only found out about the game from the community ).

His goal is to make the genre well know outside of Japan, which to this day. Even if we supported the LGBTQ+, It barely has any representation in anime.

He's almost about to hit 200 subscribers, but no matter how small the channel is. All I hope is his channel to be moved forward. Someday, having the genre somewhat popular in the west because of his channel.

Please visit "The Lingua Manga Podcast" if you're curious about the genre, and if you like to learn the history of the genre.

If I ever get monetized on my channel, the first thing I'm gonna do is buy as many marketable plushies in the Gei Komi genre I can find. I would start with this one because Sal is adorable!

Here's a random shitpost

Hello Everyone!

My name is Peter, but I go by The Mutton Chop Guy. If you haven't heard of me, well that is no surprise, because I don't put myself onto the internet often (or if I do, no one can see them cuz algorithm sucks). However that isn't why we are here, we are here because you found this post while browsing. To get straight to the point, I am lauching a podcast project where I cover a very niche genre of manga, known as Gei Komi or Bara, with the hopes to bring more visibility to it. Yes, this is a very niche genre that doesn't get enough attention because another genre in manga that overshadows it. So, I have a YouTube channel along with an Anchor channel for audio listeners.

So if this sounds interesting to you, then give my channel a quick peek. I am working on getting more videos out, but it takes me time to do so while I'm also juggling a lot of other things that us adults have to do. However I do hope you enjoy the content that Im making and hope that if you find this stuff great and entertaining, that you would share it so other people can find it. Thank you for your time.
