hey, just noticed, the last picture you took of him? the one with the bandaids,

his pupil looks.. off? its way more dilated and it looks like static if you squint, you might wanna check his vision if the eye still hasn't changed. serious falls or head injuries can lead to loss of vision or damaged vision (as well as hearing but I don't think we would be to tell, he doesn't seem to have ears) permanent or temporary. could explain why he's dissociating quite often. with sudden lack of/less visual stimulation. his vision seems to be his main sense based on how he looks as well, perhaps gently try test his vision out when hes more coherent?

Gave him a lil check-up (well, on his eye)

Swatted my hand away with annoyance when i used a light (i guess that's a good sign???)

I had some spare eyedrops for when my eyes get dry, so i tried it on him, just to see if he needs a lil boost on hydration,

Good news is that it worked!^^. Not a whole ton, but he's able to see that it's just me around, even if it's blurry.

Main part is he's probably aware enough (i think)

Anything interesting happen or is everything going steady so far?

Sorry for the lack of activity, I had some stuff to do and left Bill with my phone to watch vids n whatnot.

(just got it back cuz he fell asleep again. He had some soup and snacks today)

I think he might be a lil sick as well, gave him some ibuprofin (the kids dose, dw. Idk how much 'mortal meds' what he calls it he can handle with how weak he still is.)

He's only a tiny bit better. At most awake, but he'll be stuck in bed for a bit.

I did get the lil update that something feels wrong when i'm away from him for too long(????? I don't think he misses me. I mean, we're only craft/doodle buddies at most. It'd be silly to go beyond that, i suppose)

Started to ramble about portals and I ended up bringing the portal game series. (He seemed interested when i mentioned it's sci-fi and most of the characters have one eye)

I wanna save up for copies for my steam account so Bill can try it out (tho, my laptop is an old toaster and might not handle the graphics)

Maybe the sixer dude would like portal 1/2 as well (but damn, they both fumbled with their situationship 😭)

He's not only bandaged together, i had to use some duct tape to keep the broken bits from shifting/falling off again.

Not the best solution, but it works (learned from experience, ran outta bandages before)

Maybe just like,, try to make sure he knows you're there and trying to help him? It sounds like he's disassociating, and that can be a huge shitshow if you don't know how to ground yourself (which he obviously doesn't) so maybe try to hold his hand, get him to eat something or talk or just anything that isn't stairing off into space. Some things that help me personally with disassociation and similar issues is things like pressure (ex: clenching my fists and then letting them go, pressing my palms or heels into something flat) or other strong sensory imput like nice smells or tastes or textures. Talking to others helps too. Just make sure to show him care and try your best (none of this is your fault at all, by the way. There's no reason to think you failed if you can't get him out of this funk he's in.)

Has bill's condition gotten any better??? If so, maybe you guys should do something fun. Like go outside for some fresh air. Or post misinformation online (I think bill would like a distraction from his current predicament)
