It was noon when Crowley summoned the prefect of Ramshackle to his office. What the hopeful Yuu expected would be news from her friend Riddle, she received only a paperwork of documents to take to the leaders and a cynical smile from the crow that everything will be fine.

“Because…that herbivore forgot some documents here and you have to give them to her.”- according to the plan, Leona temptingly shows the documents to Grim, who takes the bait by becoming familiar with them. They're the same ones Yuu was carrying! "But we have a few points to discuss before taking it to Crowley"

Crossing his arms Grim asks "And since when do you care and collaborate with Crowley?"

“As long as he gets off my back, I want to get rid of the damn crow.” And who didn't?

“And for your friend to have a lighter weight on her shoulders, you have to collaborate with me.” the lion keeps the alleged documents in bed, hiding them like someone hiding a wild card to use later. With green eyes he stares at the feline and launches his proposal.

“Tell Yuu to meet me at the botanical garden during sunset. No delays."

Upon leaving the dorm Ruggie gave the feline a can of luxury tuna. Your payment for the message, he said. The prince wanted to make sure his message got through, and what better bribe for a greedy cat than delicious food?

Grim walked back down the path on his own, just him and his thoughts. Is Yuu so tired, why do I have to put more work to her? Grim's little paws unconsciously followed Yuu's scent until he found her in the hall of mirrors after she had returned from Octaville, this one, smiled gently when she saw her companion.

“Why did Leona give you that can of tuna? She didn't get into trouble, did she?" Concluding that it was really the prince who has been disturbing their sleep and their romances, with him especially, Yuu fears the worst.

“Oh, I don't know! R-Ruggie gave it to me!” the more the girl squinted her eyes suspiciously the more Grim became agitated

As much as curiosity is one of her strong points, Yuu is really tired and changes the subject as they walk down the haunted, dilapidated path to her dear and cozy: Ramcharckle dorm! The sun was beginning to set, giving Yuu a feeling of peace and vitality.

The magicless human from another dimensions, an alien to this world, managed to burn and warm many during her stay in this strange world, and the thought that she could leave at any moment gave Leona the kick to confess and keep her beside the Prince.

This started as a Silver birthday comic, but it kinda evolved from there. I was talking with my sister about what Silver’s first word was, which I then turned my ramblings into this comic! I’m really proud of it, especially how it looks as I tried really hard to use lots of manga techniques in it and I think it adds to the nostalgia…though I did reuse some lineart for the last page. I like to think that not only was that Silver calling Lilia ”father” for the first time, but Lilia calling Silver “son” for the first time as he might not have been sure of his role in this human’s life that he found.

May they always be together and happy! 😭
