Learning that they had 4 fully sensual, steamy, spicy scenes between Penelope and Colin FILMED, where props were broken during the filming, and the crew was sweating and cheering with how hot and amazing they were, and then CUT THEM because the showrunners were still too uncomfortable with showing a big girl nude and having some good sexy times, MAKES ME FURIOUS!!!!
And also, that the plot was reworked multiple times to wedge in more external subplots so they had things to fill up the spaces left by all the amazing things they cut is just.... so disappointing.
How can they be so loudly shouting how proud they are at showing a "fully nude" scene for their plus-sized lead when they showed nothing below her waist, knowing all the amazing footage they cut because ***they think*** a full figured woman is STILL too taboo to show as sexy?
Shondaland and company, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
... And also, release the missing scenes, you cowards!

I think one big reason why we don't consider the stars as important as before (not even pop-astrology anymore cares about the stars or the sky on itself, just the signs deprived of context) is because of light pollution.

For most of human history the sky looked between 1-3, 4 at most. And then all of a sudden with electrification it was gone (I'm lucky if I get 6 in my small city). The first time I saw the Milky Way fully as a kid was a spiritual experience, I was almost scared on how BRIGHT it was, it felt like someone was looking back at me. You don't get that at all with modern light pollution.
When most people talk about stargazing nowadays they think about watching about a couple of bright dots. The stars are really, really not like that. The unpolluted night sky is a festival of fireworks. There is nothing like it.

Violet Ledger growing up with an emotionally abusive mother and a father who did little to stop her (I know Lord Ledger loved Violet a lot, but he was not doing enough and I will stand by that). Violet Bridgerton marrying a man who loves her fervently and unquestionably, and creating a safe, loving home for all their children. Violet Bridgerton knowing her daughter’s best friend is not treated well at home and treating her like another child. Violet Bridgerton watching her son marry Penelope Featherington and give her the loving home she was deprived of but always deserved.
Isn’t it funny how history repeats?
