Bc I genuinely wanted to talk about our fantasy prone personality disorder and all and how most people confuse it with MaDD and neuronarration and neurodiversity. I will.

Fantasy Prone Personality Disorder (FPPD) is similar to it's sister, Fantasy Prone Personality(FPP).

FPP is a better way of describing an overactive imagination and the lifelong investment in fantasy. This personality trait becomes a larger issue when psychological factors like daydreaming, absorption and eidetic memory are introduced through this trait. Sheryl Wilson and Theodore Barber identified FPP in 1981. They raised possibilities of this personality trait coming from fairy tales in childhood and later studies showed that it could also be caused by dissociation from trauma, stress, grief etc.

FPPD on the other hand is a proposed personality disorder characterized by:

Fantasies of grandiose nature.

Dramatization and fables become very real and/or replace factual memories and events.

An identity or part of self engraved or dependent in fantasy.

Claiming nonhumanity or superhumanity as a way to bring to life a character as opposed to a legitimate identity.

Disconnect from the factual world, friends and possibly family.

Belief of happenings like pseudocyesis and events in paracosms.

At least three of these characteristics should be present with distress or the loss of factual self.

Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder is a proposed disorder where someone has intense and prolonged daydreams that obstruct or take over a portion of that someone's life.

Neuronarration is the narration of one's life or identity in a fantastical fashion.

Neurodiversity is a spectrum of diverse neurological terms and experiences ranging from OCD to Autism and more.

And Fantasy Prone Personality Disorder is a personality disorder that creates unhealthy and/or unusual behavior patterns revolving fantasy, the fictional world, dramatic and emotional thinking or behaving.

Neuronarration and Neurodiversity are not necessarily bad or malicious for health while Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder and FPPD are inherently extreme versions of Immersive Daydreaming and FPP.

My personal experience is with my idenmirrs, fantasies, disconnect and belief of false happenings. It affects me to the point I am on autopilot and I'm daydreaming the entire day or not aware of my surroundings because of my paracosm and FPPD. I have my identity be based in fiction that I miss a lot of factual events like birthdays, relationships etc.

Do you ever think to yourself, "Gee I wish Sun and moon could live in my computer and keep me company...." Great news! Now they can!
