After coming back for a horrid mission gone sideways, when it came to asking Yaga if you could get a break from missions Friday tommorow he swiftly granted it out of sympathy.

Hai’s parents were both busy with work and asked if he could babysit today. He then asked if you and nanami could come over and hang out with them. -Haibara’s parents know you already from helping babysit Himari prior-

When Himari saw you come in front the door she broke out into a fit of squeals making a beeline towards you before you scooped her into your arms, her giggling as you bounced her around.

After getting her ready to go out you all went to the park, you and nanami just relax on the picnic blanket as he reads and you do whatever. Whie haibara acts like a big kid with his sister, going down the slides with her and going down the poles before her so he can catch her at the bottom.

Himari asks you to go on the big tire swing with her, you agree (bc she’s so cute 🥹) and haibara looks like he needs a breather, taking your space on the blanket next to nanami.

The little girl works up an appetite after zooming up and down the park, you all deciding on sandwiches because it’s a little too hot for anything else.

All the way to the shop, she decides to hold onto nanami’s hand, he’s a little confused because he thinks he barely does anything for Himari for her to like him.

(Bro he literally made her pancakes ones morning because she really wanted it, I feel like he gives off calm older-cousin vibes to her bc he’d help her with stuff like school work casually, wiping her mouth or clothes whenever she gets it dirty 😣💕,Himari just ends up getting comfortable with him. She calms down around nanami because he’s calm and mostly quiet and she doesn’t mind at all)

Himari gets easily irritable before nap time, she cried for banana milk but it ran out. She 100% knew you guys were going to buy it for her because you guys could never say no to her. So hence the 8pm trip to the minimart.

You and Nanami said your goodbyes to everyone when Hai's parents came back, thanking you for today. Himari grabbing onto both you and Nanami by your shirts as you hugged her goodbye, her tiredly muttering, "you have to come back or ill find you" before she waddled back to her bedroom
