It's Predator (and Alien) Time Mfs.

It's Predator (and Alien) time mfs. š¤
( i accidentally posted this on my side account š¤” been wondering where tf the post went lmao)
Anyway! Meet Dejah! Originally she was supposed to be practice for dynamic poses and also just a fun, small self insert but everyone on IG(along with meš) ended up liking the design to much. We had a vote and now she's a OC! She has been taken in by the Yautja to be trained in their ways. More on that coming in her biography soon!
Hope y'all like her as much as I do.

Yautja is introduced to the WORST Halloween candies you know of. Though I guess worst can mean anything besides flavor, considering how their jaws are formed.
First off I want to thank everyone for the sweet anonymous notes after that last posts. And any sweet comments, I really do appreciate those a lot and it did lift up my spirits.
But for the ask here, these will be a little shorter-
Well I must note that here where I am we don't really celebrate Halloween š so all I know comes from other headcanons/stories I read and, of course, movies.
I still love the spooky season-
_
A Yautja would definitely take a disliking to candy like taffy, the candy that sticks too much and is just such a bother to chew and eat. Not much to explain here, just move all that stuff away from them, thank you.
That being said they wouldn't like any kind of chewing gum either
I don't think they'd like the flavor much either, in most of the candy, its just so unnatural? What the hell is that?
But on the other hand I also think they wouldn't be so picky with their food in general, all the survival/hunter instincts. They would eat anything if its a last resort so they'd probably be willing to AT LEAST try it.
I highly believe they would like more natural kind sweets more? Like those fitness muessli bars lmao
Or the more bitter chocolate. Organic or pure, not sure how you call it
But hot chocolate tho- dude- i know its not much halloween-ish but YO
I know Ansel(my Yautja OC) would definitely love those, specifically the chocolate. He asked Dejah once or twice(probably more lol) to sneak into a store and get them some of the goodies.
Although I kinda doubt people give either of those out during Halloweenš¬
Yautja and Pixie sticks tho- as much as weird it can be I think some of them would like it!
The weirdness between the sweet and then suddenly its sour- š„“ yesss
_
My asks are still open for OC asks, requests, drabbles and I will soon open one shot requests as well!
I'm currently working on a small 1/? Chapter story about my Predator OCs (mainly focusing on Ansel and Dejah) so stay tuned for that ^^

My side of the art trade with @aaaaagaronia and their character Morphine!!
I really had fun drawing this one, helped me practice more with the Xenomorph body and the posing! I really hope you like it š»āØ
Made a quick thing with Dejah and Ansel-Bronx š Dumbass chaotic yet dyanmic great duo. Don't @ me.
Also posted on my YT!! Agent 43 ^^
But on a more serious note, I'll be opening my asks in a second! You can request what you want to see me post here! Sketch requests will be open too but for now I'm not doing any OCs, sorry.
I also write! You can ask me for OC or canon character headcanons, maybe even drabbles or anything really! Don't be shy ^^
I'm willing to write for

How about a Yautja vs an SCP? Your choice on how to answer this and what SCP. Heck, they could make friends with a nice one.
Thanks for the ask! And for the first thing I could think of is a Yautja vs SCP-682! I'll include some other SCPs at the end but anyway, here you go!

ā¢We all know Yautja take trophies after their hunts, well imagine their surprise when they find out this lizard monster thing can heal and can't die.
ā¢Surprised, curious - gotta know more. Quickly they pick more and more interest in this reprtile. Would try to tire it out and observe 682 throughout it all.
ā¢How they came to meet one another is either in the lab or when 682 breaches containment and goes on a walk around the city/forest.
ā¢I do imagine a lot of fighting would break out and even some casualties before the Yautja would retreat with a sample of 682's blood.
ā¢We all know the Upgrade Predator, add to that 682's abilities. :)))) Now we're all screwed.
ā¢An encounter with 999 would be a funny one I imagine. Adorable one too I dare say š¤
ā¢At first a Yautja would be cautious when seeing this jellyfish-on-land approach them, some Yautja would be a bit hostile which would make 999 back off and start shaking.
ā¢At that more curiosity would probably arise, not just because of the jellyfish apperance (from so much travel Yautja's do they probably saw all kinds of species) but also because of its behavior.
ā¢Young Bloods would certainly try and touch it and when they do- BOOM. A purring mess.
ā¢Catch your alien buddy out there purring and just petting or carrying 999
ā¢Elders would be suspicious tho, or any more experienced Yautja. Definitely wouldn't let it approach them so easily or approach them at all.
ā¢If an Elder finds themselves in this euphoric state after coming in contact with SCP-999 they would easily back up, what if this is a trick from this little thing and they are being lead into a trap??
ā¢Nope, not happening.
ā¢More hostile Yautja(say Bad Bloods) would try to kill poor 999 :( so-
ā¢When it comes to the mask I believe none of the Yautja would easily be swayed by it. Not at all really, even the younger ones would know the way this mask is calling to them is a red flag.

Hopefully this is alright! I'm in a bit of an writers block too so this is all I could think off.
Feel free to request anything more, you can even ask about my own OCs if there is anything that interests you ^^
The Tumblr writing community is dying.

Itās something Iāve noticed over the past two years of using this site. It was gradual, imperceptible at first, something that most would brush off as a silly concern, or fault Tumblr algorithm for. While itās true that Tumblrās engine leaves a lot to be desired, Iāve noticed that even popular blogs have started to dwindle in terms of interaction or motivation. There could be a lot of reasons for this, but the biggest two Iāve noticed, experienced myself, and asked fellow writers about is this: (1) content being stolen, and (2) lack of feedback or interaction. Iāve never seen any logical person defend content being stolen, so I want to address point 2 instead.
Lack of feedback and interaction. Iām not saying this on my behalf so much as Iām saying this for friends and smaller blogs who have lost motivation to write. I was looking at my yandere writing blogs list the other day and noticed that a good majority of them no longer write. I usually update the list every few months, and by that point, more and more writers have stopped writing entirely. This isnāt a problem confined solely to the yandere fandom; in fact, thereās less writing blogs in generalĀ these days, especially ones that are active. I used to run a very popular BNHA blog with some friends, but that dissolved after our content was stolen and our followers stopped interacting as much. Out of our 8,500 followers, we hardly got 0.015% notes (~128 notes) on an average post. Tumblr is to blame for the lack of eyes seeing our posts, for sure, but that also means that at least 128 people saw one post and didnāt leave a comment or ask. We were considered a big blog; imagine what itās like on a small blog.
My friend recently made a post that summed this up perfectly:Ā
āIāve seen people say āBe grateful that people even lurk on your page.ā and, while I get the message theyāre trying to say, itās more dismissive and hurtful in my opinion. Like youāre saying, āOh your writing is mediocre, you should be grateful people even LOOK at it.ā
Me personally? Iāve heard the argument that AO3 is a better place to post fanfics, and while that might be true, Iāve had friends experience firsthand the lack of interaction there too. Iāve heard the argument that interacting with some writers is intimidating (me included). Iāve heard that argument that followers might be too shy to interact. Iāve heard the argument that writers should write for themselves and not for views / likes / reblogs / etc, and while thatās ideal, itās not sustainable for everyone. What works for one writer wonāt work for another, but you know what will? Interaction.
That comment or ask that took you 2 seconds to write? We remember it. That reblog with the compliments in the tags? We remember it. Every singleĀ ānamedā anon we get (heart anon, sunflower anon, etc)? We remember them. And the best part is? Itās actually easier to do these things on Tumblr since you have the option to send anonymous asks or make a sideblog specifically for reblogs! Trust me, whether the lack of interaction is the cause of a lack of motivation or what have you, every writer appreciates feedback (donāt be shy to offer some critique or compliments) or even a simple keyboard smash with some emojis. Even sitting down for 5 min a day per week to comment on your favorite writersā new pieces makes a huge difference.Ā Personally, since Tumblrās activity feed is beyond terrible and I have over 1,500 posts, I donāt always see new reblogs or comments on my content; asks though? Always see those, can never go wrong with those. If you donāt want to reblog or leave a comment, then you can never go wrong with an anonymous ask.Ā
As my wise friend says: writing is an art, and in order to improve that art, we need other peopleās eyes to see what we donāt.

For the sake of every writer (past, present, and future) on this platform, please share this post.
