This is really short, but I wanted to show another side to Foxy!

The Lucky Batch ☘️

There was no doubt that 79's was the place to go to have a good time and some good grog. Possibly the most noted clones to ever have frequented there were Wolffe and Fives, known for their flirting and wooing.

But there was a new clone on the rise, his name becoming an excited whisper among the locals. He was charming, debonair, mysterious, and oh so flirty. It was a rarity to see him and a pleasure to watch him, though none could seem to nail him down long enough to learn his name.

But oh, she had seen him as soon as he had walked in. Narrow hips and broad shoulders, at ease with his surroundings and confident in his stride. His curly hair was messy and dark, bangs getting in the way of his gorgeous brown eyes which lit up with his animalistic smirk. His casual outfit was a stark difference against the white armor of his brothers.

She wanted him to get to know him. Rising to her feet, she weaved through the pulsing crowd, setting a path to intercept his. Whoever he was, she was sure to find out. Her heart skipped a beat when he walked by her, his eyes briefly meeting her own before sweeping away and he patted his brother on the back. Her mouth opened and she tried to speak, to get his attention, but her tongue was still. Her mind jerked to a halt. No! Let her say something. Let her speak!

He was almost out of earshot. She didn't know what pushed her forward, but her legs were suddenly moving beneath her and she was reaching out to grasp his shoulder-

The clone stiffened when her hand landed on her shoulder. His sharp eyes snapped back to her, glaring at her through strands of curly hair. It took him a mere second to realize she didn't mean any harm, an easy smile curling those plush lips.

"May I help you?" he asked and oh Maker, his voice was like honey over chocolate.

"I, uh, I…" Her mouth was suddenly bone dry.

He turned to fully face her, his width suddenly becoming very apparent to her. Good heavens. He took a step closer to her, the noise of the bar muffling her soft voice. He dipped his head down to hear her. "I'm sorry, what was that?"

"Can...can I have your name?" she asked in a rush, stumbling over her words, feeling like her heart was about to burst from her chest and fly away.

His eyes swept up to hers and he grinned. "Foxy. The name is Foxy. What's yours, pretty little lady?"

Her knees trembled and her fingers shook with excitement. "Eliaelle…"

"Pretty name for a pretty lady," he winked, then moved to gently place himself beside her. "Well, Eliaelle, mind if I buy you a drink?"

Her heart fluttered in her chest. "That would be a pleasure!"

"I assure you...the pleasure is all mine."

This is the story of Foxy's famous dare. Y'all ready?!

"This is a horrible idea," Foxy muttered as he stared down the scope of his sniper rifle, crosshair fixed on General Anakin Skywalker. He opened his squinted eye to look over at Jackal. "A horrible idea."

"Oh, come on! It's not like you're going to kill him. You're just gonna...skim the watchtower, so to speak," the pilot scoffed and waved his brother's concerns away with a flick of his wrist.

Foxy narrowed his eyes at Jackal before looking back at the Jedi Knight. He had lost a bet to his batchmates during a game of poker and his punishment (to their great amusement) was to take a shot at Anakin Skywalker. One of the greatest Jedi on the field, renowned for his combat skills and strategy. Now, Foxy was always down for a bit of fun, but even this seemed maybe just a tad bit too far. Jackal had volunteered to come with him so he could confirm they actually did it.

But who was he to back down from a dare?

"This is a bad idea...let's do it."

Foxy dipped back down to look through the scope. He carefully adjusted the settings, crosshairs dropping down to the bag in Anakin's hand.

Breathe in. One, two, three.

Breathe out. One, two, three.

Bang!

The bag went flying from Anakin's hand, it's contents scattering in pieces to the wind. With a holler, Anakin jumped back, hands in the air. His padawan, Ahsoka Tano, busted out laughing and doubling over.

Foxy sank down out of sight, quickly gathering his things as he and Jackal cackled to each other. Scurrying with their heads ducked low, they hurried back to 79s in high spirits. Once they were sure they were out of danger, they slowed their pace to a swaggering walk. They busted into 79s with a whoop and a cheer, high fiving each other and proclaiming their victory to their team.

"You actually did it?" Captain Raffle asked, his eyebrows raised in question, looking between them both.

"Absolutely!" Foxy snickered, popping out the ammo clip to show his captain that it was, indeed, missing a bullet.

The officer shook his head in disappointment and knocked back the rest of his drink.

"So you're the one who took a shot at me."

Foxy froze, big eyed as he stared straight down at Raffle. Shit. Grimacing, he turned around slowly to look General Skywalker in the eye.

The Jedi looked him over, then smirked and shook his head. "Nice shooting."

Relief wracked through Foxy's body and he grinned. "Thank you, sir!"

And that's the story of how Foxy gained Anakin's respect, but also a warning to never do it again.
