I’ve seen some people genuinely wondering how the clones are whitewashed and there are tons of posts on it but I just thought I’d drop this here for clear visuals. The clones in TCWs are whitewashed as well, but it is even more clear in TBB.

Whitewashing is not just skin color but also erasing POC features (for Temuera Morrison, that means they did not accurately portray his rounder features and curly hair). This post shows how TCWs clones are also whitewashed.

then here is just a quick visual - Hunter is even lighter than the clones in TCWs (Fives for ex.) in the lighting at Kamino.

and Tech and Crosshair also have very obviously whitewashed features—skin tone, nose, face shape, hair. Even compared to Fives, let alone Temuera.

And this explains some issues with Wrecker’s character.

I’m East Asian so I cannot speak on the experiences of Polynesians but this is what I have seen and learned from other posts, summarized :)
