With them making predictions and arguing about whose theory is right (let's face it, Wrath would be correct because Emilia's crime-solving skills are..well, questionable) and just being an overall domestic soft pair...👉👈

And yes Emilia's crime-solving skills are laughable I am sure Wrath just shakes his head and lovingly smiles at her decisions, knowing full well that he'll have to get her out of trouble soon.

Wrath huffed at the little plot twist in the book, reading a few sentences farther than Emilia and he felt her shift in anticipation. She sat facing away from him between his legs, leaning back onto his warm chest while his arms were tightly bound around her waist, playing with the front of her dress while he waited for her to turn the page.

“Come on witch, don’t go slow now!” Wrath nudges Emilia’s hand with his and lightly nibbles on her ear in irritation. She only blushes and finally turns the page. “Noooo, this can’t be true, why wouldn’t he be killed off?!” Emilia exclaims at the plot reveal and slumps down in anger. Wrath looks down at the adorable view that was Emilia with the biggest pout and scrunched up eyebrows.

“Well yeah, he is the murderer after all, of course he won’t be killed in the middle of the story,” Wrath pinched Emilia’s cheek lightly, smiling at her protests, running his fingers through her soft hair he leaned down to leave one tender kiss on her forehead. “You need to think strategically more, I’ll have to lock you up in your study and not let you eat until you understand the basics of strategy.”

“I am great at strategy!” Emilia exclaimed and slapped Wrath’s thigh for emphasis, earning a chuckle from the demon. “With my great strategic planning, I now have a prince of Hell as a comfortable and warm seat to read my books in, see?” She straightened up and brought his hands back around her.

“So I am just a seat to you? Very well then, who is the murderer’s ally? Hmm? Can you tell me that,” Wrath teased while his hands tightened around her waist, pressing a bit too hard to let her know that she was reaching into the dangerous territory with her words.

“Oh don’t try to be mean, I know you love to cuddle me,” Emilia leaned her head backwards to motion Wrath that she wanted a little kiss. Wrath slowly kissed over her cheek to reach awaiting plump lips, but just before he was supposed to kiss her as she wanted he leaned back and tipped her head back to the book and laughed at Emilia’s complaints.

“No kisses until you solve the murder.”

“Pfff, you’re the one who will want them first,” Emilia mocked and pinched his arm, going back to her reading. “That woman is his ally! I know it for sure,” she tried to impress Wrath but at his laugh, she knew that she guessed wrong.

“Silly witch, good that I’m here to help you out, otherwise anybody can fool you!” Wrath tickled her sides and the book was long forgotten and put away for the tickle fight that slowly flowed into a cosy afternoon nap with Emilia’s head on Wrath's chest and his hands running up and down her back to soothe her into a peaceful slumber.
